Confused and failed country.

Many times one would think one nigeria can never work because nigeria never had good leaders.

All those useless 'leaders' are worthless 'leaders'.

The useless nigerian 'leaders' never see any reason why nigeria should have these kind of things.

The case of this man also shows obasanjo was a bad president that failed to direct the country to the path of greatness, path in which rule of law reign as you claimed that he helped him to escape justice then.

Lesson learnt: don't engage in shady business.

But I think associating in life with somebody like obasanjo is very bad. He thinks he is god or may be he thinks he owns nigeria or something. He has dirty stinking heart and he turned people around him into sycophant except you want him to go after you if you have different opinion. He is wicked, never forgiving, he is direct opposite of chief obafemi awolowo.

The buruji or whatever his name should go to america to resolve his problem over there.

I'm from a Muslim background and so is my hubby. We have two children. My family is liberal and allowed us to practice whatever religion that pleases us. I'd been going to church even before I met hubby who was also a church goer. Hubby's family is very strong in Islam and had threatened to disown us if we don't practice the religion. They even want to sponsor our pilgrimage to hajj but we are not interested. We started playing diplomacy by pretending to be who we are not especially when they are around or we go visiting. Right now, I'm not even going to church neither am I practicing Islam because I'm fed-up. Isn't religion about serving God? Why the superiority in religion? Can people serve whoever God they prefer?. I fear for my kids because I really want to raise them to know God. Its really affecting me psychologically and contemplating relocating with the kids.

Pls advise me.

I am a muslim and I know much about my religion. I am pleased being a muslim.

20 people have been confirmed dead from a Cholera outbreak in Ebonyi state. The state Director, Public Health and Disease Control, in the Ministry of Health, Dr Chris Achi, who made this known to newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state, said seven local government areas namely Ohaukwu, Izzi, Ezza North, Ishielu, Ebonyi, Abakaliki and Ohaozara have recorded the highest number of cases.

Dr Ashi said one student of the Ebonyi State University has died from the epidemic while 9 of them are in the hospital after contracting the disease.

15 students of the Girls High School, Azuinyiokwu were also affected by the disease and were rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, where they were treated and discharged.

Dr Ashi said the outbreak of the disease was largely due to the villagers in the communities fetching and using water from a dirty pond after their community boreholes stopped working...
"Some of the community members have boreholes and when some of the boreholes breakdown, the people, rather than repair it, resort to pond water. Hawkers will display Suya along the road and flies perch on them and people patronize them without considering the health implication. In Abakaliki, most houses do not have toilet facilities and people defecate around the houses. This leads to disease outbreak because the same flies that perch on the faeces also perch on foods”. he said
