What is pacifying however is the fact that they were all workers of iniquity (Matthew 7:23), that is to say, every single one of them despite being anointed, didn't genuinely repent but continued with their lifestyle of sin and disobedience to God's Word.

So they didn't take the teach of Jesus seriously or believe they needed to keep it, because that's the only way they could remain workers of iniquity and still believe that Jesus would allow them into His Kingdom regardless just because they have faith or believe in His name.

Moreover, Jesus said He will be ashamed of those who were ashamed of Him and His Words on that day.

Luke 9:26 (KJV)

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

That should explain why Jesus will be ashamed of them and deny them before the angels when He comes in His glory and that of His Father, telling them that He never knew them and to depart from Him.

So it's only those who claim to be His followers but have rejected His Words and continued to work iniquity that have something to fear.

A good and loving God does not want anyone to go to hell. And this good and loving God is also righteous and fair and just and hates sin and evil and hence has to destroy sin and evil and sinners forever for him to be just and righteous as well as good and loving. Rejecting Hell is just a feeble attempt at absolving yourself of the responsibility of your sinful actions. There is a hell. And man should be finding every way possible to escape it. Noone should be able to sin against God and get away with it. NOONE. He is HOLY completely perfect and HE has created everything for HIS pleasure. And we displease Him all the time. Cheapening His judgement and even going as far as saying His punishment for that insane decision of sin(hell) is dishonouring HiM. God help us all. The Bible said Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a CONSUMING FIRE 🔥, even a jealous God.
You as a man as well the devil are created to have an eternal soul that will never end. And that soul will pay for the sins you committed against a perfect God. Because He made you perfect. But you chose imperfection. And the devil that decieves us will as well burn eternally.
But God who is love has extended a singular hope a chance of escape from hell. Trusting in Jesus Christ the ONLY begotten son of God. We are not all God's children until we believe on Jesus Christ and recieve the adoption of sons. John 3:16

True true but this case it has to be a real life narrative. Other scriptures proves that old testament saints were in a place that wasn't heaven. But a paradise e.g Luke 23:42-43 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

The thief is asking for heaven but Jesus is promising him a paradise with Him.

Don't misunderstand that scripture. Although, we trust in his grace, we must abstain from all appearances of evil (1 Thessalonians 4:18, Mark 9:43, Romans 6:1, Revelation 21:8 ).....to name a few. There are so many verses.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearances of evil"

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

God loves you, hence His word will never tell you to go and commit sin or walk in the flesh. Cause that's death. Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life. Believing in Him and Him alone apart from your works means you have an eternal security of heaven. If you still want to live in your sins and flesh after such an offer that's on you. Your life here on earth will not be as easy for you as the unbelieving sinner. And you may lose rewards for your good works if they don't stand the test of fire. But heaven is a gift not a reward. To enter is a gift. God is so good He still wants to bless you more but you must believe enteri g is beyond you. You can't deserve it. But worked it out and deserved it for you. Why won't you wanna do all He says after He showed you so much love.

1. This is the doctrine of substitution. God looks at you and sees Christ, God looks at Christ on the cross and sees you. God treated Christ like He lived my life and yours. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
