Hello, I sent my photocopies to WES via NIPOST from abuja and they still haven't received it. It's been over a month. Does anyone advise me sending it again or is there a better process that won't blow my budget? Thanks

I sent a student to process for me. And it was processed within a week. Though I just collected it for something else before I did for WES...... my file was still within reach.

I don't know how UI verification works. I need information as well. I got the mail for verification from WES since last week Monday. But UI has not responded.

Please anyone with information should help me.

As mentioned by Tee248490, LASU is quite efficient processing transcripts.

I applied for my wife’s transcript from LASU. WES updated her account exactly three weeks after the request. Considering it takes WES three business days to update account, it’s thus safe to say the transcript got to WES in 2 weeks and 2 days. Minus time in transit from that, means transcript left LASU at about the 2nd week. So, I guess your Husband’s transcript should be about leaving the school that's if it hasn't left.

There’s however a catch. I didn’t know payment was required for verification. I just sat down waiting for LASU to do the needful but when I realized it was taking too long, I did a stop in school then got to know that the mail for verification had gotten to LASU 20 days before I went! On getting the verification mail from WES, LASU promptly sent a pay advice to WES stating she had to make a payment. I made 10k payment that day and in less than a week, her profile status changed to verification gotten.

Like a week or so after we got the status update (I can’t really recollect the sequence of event), I received a letter from WES – It was a letter informing her that a payment is required for the verification. Apparently, the delay was caused as I had chosen regular delivery to my post office box. Maybe I would have gotten the letter much earlier had I chosen courier. Regardless of that delay, I knew for sure I will receive the ECA hard copy safe in box about a month from completion date. Choice of regular delivery was money well spent for me.

Crux is you don't really need a followup on the transcript but you might need to stop in school to make a payment for the verification.

I got my transcript from LASU sent to WES and further verification done without much stress but that required some follow up from exams and records. I can assure you that it's being worked on... LASU is quite efficient with transcripts. I have requested a lot and I don't bother checking. But in this case, I think he should go to school and get the tracking no so he knows exactly when it gets to WES.

Hello everyone, I just got ITA and trying to put my documents together. However, I have an issue, about a year ago my car was snatched by armed robbers and I lost some of my documents which include my marriage certificate. The marriage took place at RCCG in Ibadan and we were given the FORM E marriage certificate. I have tried getting it replaced, but its been to no avail. For proof of marriage certificate, I intend to make use of the following
1. AFFIDAVIT OF MARRIAGE
2. POLICE REPORT OF STOLEN VEHICLE
3. AFFIDAVIT OF STOLEN VEHICLE
4. LOE FOR ALL THIS
5. WEDDING INVITATION, WEDDING PROGRAMME (with our pictures), RECEPTION PROGRAMME (with our pictures)

I need your opinion on this, just want to know if this would suffice as proof of marriage. We also have two kids.

You can obtain a certified copy from the registry where u obtained the initial certificate. I did that when I misplaced mine.

Also, did your brother transfer your upkeep 10k cad to your account? Did you apply with your kids and husband?? If u did apply with any of your kids, u need to show evidence of taking care of dem and how u will cover there own expenses too. This may be d reason.

Can you re-take the GRE? There's a whole world of difference between a 156Q and a 162Q. If you want funding, re-take the test and try to ace it across board.

Your GPA, Certification and work experience would be a major boost to your profile.

Try and carefully select schools and mail the Graduate Coordinator.

Also you could use the search bar on NL if any transcript has your intended course with funding..

I am a young lady in my early 30s, married with kids. I graduated with first class in Economics (2011) cgpa 6.5/7. Recently wrote Gre and scored 156 in Q and 141 in verbal, AW 3.I have been working as a financial analyst with professional training with ACCA. Though I have never tried any university in USA but tried few in Canada for master. I got one already but without funding. Just don't know if am missing something out. I really want a master program with funding.

Congrats on your admission

Upfront Medicals simply means doing your Medicals before you are asked to submit it.

While the 2nd option is to wait for a mail from the Canadian Embassy, requesting you to submit a medical report.

Disadvantage of Upfront medicals is that, if you're denied Visa, your money is gone.

Most times, when Canada Embassy sends you a mail to submit your medicals, it's most likely that the are positively considering your Application.

Also note, there are APPROVED hospitals/clinics for this.
