Hisbah:how?? Imagine being discriminated by your own people because you don't belong to the majority religion your tribe represent. That's like forcing you to hate your own people, nobody does that without pain in their heart. |
Las Las everybody align with what service his interest. However, there's these urgent need of exposure required of an average politician which is lagging badly by mostly south easternern politician. 1, not all northerners are hausa as not all esterners are igbos. 2, not all hausa are muslims as same with all esterners being Christians. 3, there's purely hausa communities in the north so also purely fulani community in the north. 4, the Hausas don't own the north. 5, non Hausas also bear hausa names in the north same with Christians bearing hausa names. When politicians across geopolitical region are being exposed to this kind of knowledge, the above scenario would have been averted. I'm sure a senator like rochas okorocha wouldn't have made such mistake. |
I can place this on record here and I challenge anybody to prove me wrong, there is absolutely nothing I have benefitted for coming from the SE as a Muslim, in fact, i have lost more opportunities from my people because of the fact that I am a Muslim. In my 300L in faculty of Law Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, I had written to my then Senator Representing my constituency, Barr. Sen. Chukwuka Utazi, he was then the Chairman Senate Committee on Anti Corruption and Financial Crimes, I wanted him to assist me procure a LAPTOP for my LL.B degree but when I got to the Red Chamber that very day after he had kept me waiting for 5 hours, Only for me to walked in when it was my turn for him to see me, he just requested for the letter and the only thing he could tell me was “you are UTHMAN ISA” and you said you are form “Nsukka”? Please“I DO NOT represent people from the North, go and meet your Senator Brothers from the North” on hearing that, I got furious and spoke my local dialect “Nsukka” reminding him how he came to our community Alor-Agu during the campaign to see specially the Muslim community there but This guy ignored me and walked me out of his office at the Red Chamber. If you had followed me here for the last 5years, I had tweeted same here to remind some of my people, that my coming from South East has done me more harm than good from my own people, there is absolutely No privilege it confers on me to come from the south east and so don’t worry, when your brothers get your BIAFRA, we will give you space and goto another place where we are safe to practice our religion peacefully but for now, we are here and for so long as we won’t step on anyhttps://twitter.com/UthmanTochukwu/status/1679353517226565633?s=19 |
Gerrard59:Waec body is highly compromised, miracle centers everywhere. Jamb still has high level of integrity. |
You check the profile of those commenting on this twitter Jane news and you begin to question their sense of reasoning. Tomorrow they'll go to bear parlour and be respected as one who have Acess to Internet and authentic news. |
Many of us Nigerian men underrate good looks unlike our women. Try to look good and fit and you'll find more women flocking around you not cos of your money but your looks. First thing that attracts us men to women is good looks before any other thing same with women but have compromised to money. When you offer them money, they'll always appreciate a better offer. |
Tinubu a man of competence across party lines. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:its everywhere with different modus operandi. |
BNewsNg:he learnt from Peter Obi. |
wunmi590:its just wealth shifting. Universities would make more money as they'll use their post UTME as major yardstick to admit students. |
House of rep should getat. Toothless bull dogs that can never implement any proposal. |
The dollar economy has really killed us, anything to end the monopolisation of the dollar would be welcomed. |
Ortom is classifying himself with integrity? |
This is not the first, second or third time the FCT would be going on this arrest. They did same during Buhari era and even arrested cow too but just like other agencies combined with the stubbornness of Nigerians, the illegal acts won't stop as the agency only come to live once in a while. Lets just hope it's something that's here to stay and not the usual old ON and OFF attitude from the ministry. I know the cow headline is there to push a Buhari fulani narrative to most ignorant readers and commentors. |
Akaegwu:yea, stabilising the price of diesel doesn't mean removing subsidy. The singular act of giving independent Marketers Acess to easily import petroleum product is the main reason we are buying at the original price which is much better. In the past only few licensed operators could, infact I've bought diesel in a black market behind NNPC filling station with rumours saying they are owned by the station manager. Now that many people can import, a new direction has taken place. The price has comedown to the original price. |
vengertime:that's not federal House of rep, that's edo state assembly. Na South South them. |
Na edo state House of assembly be that. |
Igwe9:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 If na Tinubu you wan hate on, you'll always make stupid comments bet me. |
I don't understand why the request from governors to give the military free hand. Those guys are strong accomplices especially the zamfara own. |
One thing every religious person believes is that his religion is the true religion and that others are going to hell fire. The emir should know Nigeria is a secular state and also the world is also a secular world as God himself permits multiple religion to exist and also teaches us to respect people's choice of religion. In summary, practice your religion in peace and leave others to practice what they find peace at. |
This euro bond no dey finish? I know how ant Times report has been on the news about govt paying this euro bond. The subsidy regime really deplicted our resources to the point we were not even benefiting from the loans as the official and blackmarket rate was the sweetest platform used to steal those w funds which the elite in return uses to invest in those foreign countries.. My dear Nigerians, brace up for more tougher times and ask productive questions not destructive ones on how our resources are being managed. The subsidy removal was suppose to bite us harder than we are receiving but thank God for the far sight of Mr president. He was able to stabilise diesel and gas price as most manufacturing companies rely on diesel and gas. Today fuel price is up but market price of commodities has stabilised despite numerous negative prediction of doom. Subsidy is gone and we didn't face recession. God bless Asiwaju of Africa. A true leader. |
immortalmortal:oboi if it was easy prosecuting those fellas, Jonathan or Buhari would have done so. There's more to it that meet the eyes. Destruction of the vessels is a strong plus. |
The president is very much aware that going against these criminal elements won't be an easy ride hence they would have long been caught. Perhaps destroying their vessels would send a strong message to the rest. |
Tunechi5:this tmrubbish is the main reason why we remain like this, politicians would aways fight for their interest anywhere in the world, when theres a future for the country, the interest of the politician lies in that country not the Nigeria scenario. Get your facts right, we produce liabilities more than we produce productivity. |
Never mind how people portray him in the media and social media. Suddenly, working with the President brought him out there, in the glare of the nation. And there followed the good, the bad and the ugly. You dad is a Good journalist, A bad SA to Mr president due to his inability to publicise the good of the Buhari administration and an ugly presenter. Maybe the nature of his job made him ugly cos more often than non, you just laugh at his hypocrisis is some certain national issues. |
Truth is, the quality of teachers have declined over the years especially at institutional level. No psychological advantage over the kids only witch hunt and demotivational words. The errors comes majorly from our employees. |
Nkechiere you are highly admired, even with my uni degree, I no sure say I fit still score 200 for jamb. Your indeed a rear jem. To our men out there, una Don dey lazy too much. Instead of reading your books like we did during our days and relegated women to second class citizens, na yahoo without future direction una wan focus. |
Falana, the man who always have an opinion. |
I told my gbagyi brothers, the Tinubu when una no vote go appoint una as minister. The people of FCT would forever be grateful for this recognition. God bless Asiwaju |
