I didn't know Nigerians are this stupid o. The positive fron his tweet is that Innosson should up their game. I have seen lots of their vehicles in Awka and to be honest I was only impressed by their luxurious buses. The rest will disintegrate after 3 years on Nigerian roads. There are doing great for now sha. A quick one here: how many people here will use their hard-earned money to buy a brand new innosson vehicle? I guess only a few who already have spare cars. Govt shuld keep buying to encourage them though. |

amaechi1: I will be an act of irresponsibility if I fail to acknowledge the mercy of God in Nigeria. Secondly, we may be complaining about the economy, but we have taken time to reflect on those days when boko hara was running riot. One day, one bomb. To the extent they got closer to Aso rock and people where living in fear. What would have happened if Boko haram where not cut to size by God through this administration. If God had allowed things to degenerate like what we have in Syria, Mali, Iraq, just to mention a few. Would we still be lamenting our economy or praying for safety first?
In summary, let encourage everyone not to totally look their way, but support this administration to get the economy back like in the day of Pre-oil boom.
God bless Nigeria. I dn't support administrations, I support good governance. Take it or leave it. Would you have asked me to support Abacha's administration? Whenever this administration does right we wi support them, if there misbehave we withdraw support. Thank You. |

I once stayed in Ogu/Bolo LGA of Rivers States and I was amazed at the level of development there. Free light, community recreation centre, stadium, roads all tared, and all. And yet dey complain of suffering. Visit an average northern LGA and you will weep for them. I have been to most many LGAs in Benue, Taraba, Kogi, Kano, Adamawa Etc. U can't compare them with those of the oil states at all. You guys seriously think you are suffering? Visit Taraba and see for urself. |

Richy4: I would have asked for the difference between fulani and Hausa....but i do not want to be seen as someone that doesn't know his people and country......Anyone who knows should enlighten me please. .. Hausas speak Hausa language as their first language and their state of Origin is mostly from the northwestern states of Kano, parts of Kaduna, Sokoto, Zamfara, Jigawa, Katsina and Kebbi. Of all these states only Kano has 100percent hausa indigenous population. The rest have either Fulani and hausa or both with other northern tribes. The fulanis speak fulani as their first language and reside in all northern states either as normads (mostly middlebelt) or indegenes (Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, Bauchi, Plateau, Katsina, Sokoto etc). The herdsmen you see around are all Fulanis maybe with rare exceptions. There are also some hausa and fulanis who have inter-married for so long that there are not called Hausa-Fulani. When you hear people of hausa extraction just as in the post above pls take note: it may refer to either pure or real Hausa people OR northern minority tribes that generally speak hausa as a second language. For instance there are few pure hausa people in the north-eastern states of Taraba, Adamawa, Gombe, Borno etc. These are not hausa states although dey are historically known as the hausa banza. pls let other fellow northerners correct me or add to what i have written. |

GlorifiedTunde: Fantastic research.
This is the kind of research the FG should bankroll. But of course, what do we know. Before a white must have done this, there must have been a lot of resources expended in terms of security and incentives.
From all what I see now, it shows that the major problem of the north is ignorance. The deprivation of the north from effective western education and civilization by their previous leaders and elites has dealt this nation a serious blow.
Before poverty comes ignorance.
I doubt whether they would have successfully recruited mercenaries from the south even if southerners were broke.
Now all these makes me ask again, do we really think bokoharam was only fuelled and financed within the confines of this nation?
My answer is a big "NO"
If you're still thinking bokoharam is a PDP or APC affair, then you're just a surface web crawler. blame their religion and not their lack of certificates. These are men who tore and burnt their certificates in public before joining Boko Haram. That was long before Boko Haram even started fighting anybody. There are Engineers, Doctors and top grade students who have joined ISIS. What do you say about them? Are there ignorant too? What about the Egyptian millionaire prince who joined ISIS and about a year latter volunteer for suicide bombing and died? Was he poor, just in case u wana blame poverty. |
