He went to town and came back with another broken bottle to knock on the door of the guy he killed telling him he heard the deceased has prepared for him too. Then the deceased came out with pestle, positioned it on his killer's head and told him he doesn't want them to have issues otherwise he would have used the pestle on the guy. that is the culprit. I know him very very well. His parents are from Edo state but they reside in Lagos. I don't know any other details fro now but his elder brother who is also his room mate is also on the run for fear of being arrested. please note: Kunini where the attack supposedly took place is not a Hausa-Fulani town. in fact there is not Hausa village in Taraba State, there are only Fulani towns there. I served in Lau LGA and have visited and spent days in that town many many times. in fact, i participated in most 2015 election activities in the said place.

Hundreds of residents of Hausa and Fulani extraction were yesterday reported to have fled their villages which came under attack from militia men in Lau LGA of Taraba State.

Our correspondent reports that this came after the militia suspected to be Bachama and Nyandan launched attacks on Fulani villages. Towns and villages attacked by the militia men include Abbare Santuraki, Mayolope and Nnege as well as other Fulani settlements in neighbouring Adamawa State.

Daily Trust gathered that the attackers killed about 20. A victim, Malam Yakubu Dani, said the militia men killed four persons in his village, Santuraki, and set homes on fire.

At Mayolope, another victim, Alhaji Abdulmumuni, told Daily Trust that the militia killed four persons and burned several houses. He said residents were forced to flee the area. The attack in Lau came one month after nine Fulani people were killed by suspected Mumuye tribesmen in Yorro LGA of the state.

A spokesman of the Hausa community, Alhaji Jibo, said the killings were unprovoked, despite the deployment of security agents to the area. He said no arrest was made at the time of gathering the report, even as the attackers moved freely.

Police spokesman, ASP David Misel, said more policemen had been drafted to the area to restore normalcy, adding that he could not immediately give a casualty figure.

Op can you tell me what the school fees of the university students are used for? Nigerian universities don't have a problem generating revenue from students, their problem is with corruption from the oga's at the top. There are at least thousands of students in any given Nigerian university, and these students pay nothing less than 30k(i stand to be corrected) as school fees, multiply this 30k with the amount of students and then tell me if the universities are not making profit after selling their various operating costs and taxes( if any).

Bros na was for you o. Did you read the original post at all? Do you know that public universities are heavily subsidised? Talking about your analyses it is obvious you know little about the costs of running a uni. A professor is paid at least 6 million naira a year, from your calculation 30000×3000 students should give 90million. That amount is not enough to even fund a university for 2 weeks. Most unis spend at least 250 million naira per month.
