PoliticsRe: Nigerians: You Live In A Paradise And Dont Even Know It! by Junior66(m): 10:29am On Jan 20, 2016
This poster and some of his supposrters are as dumb as you can get. A little knowledge of economics would have convinced the OP not to make this post. The comparisms do not make any meaning at all. Some even claim that Nigerians do not pay taxes, someone should help me ask them where the allocation shared by the FG comes from. Is the allocation from Buhari's investments in his cattles? We all pay taxes one way or the other. If there is any Nigerian who does not pay taxes, then that person hasnt purchased anything since he was born. And then, why compare countries with higher minimum wages with a country like Nigeria where the current minimum wage is probably less than 14,OOO relative to the current exchange rate? What has the government done with the taxes we pay?
Pls, we Nigerians are wise people o. Dnt jsut sit in ur comfort and come online to insult our collective sensibilities. The same reason we dnt pay 23K for electricity here is the same reason a quikie is as cheap as N5OO instead of the 12k u claim to pay abroad.

Abagworo:
Nigerians lack the basic understanding of collective efforts. We see Government as aliens with mystic powers to provide everything we need without any personal contribution. People use garbage to fill up drainage and expect Government to come clear it for them or accuse Government of causing the resultant flooding.
Mr man, every Nigerian pays taxes. where do u tink the money used by the govt comes from? From PMB's investments abroad?

jameseva:
No one is asking you to pay 23k for electricity right now.. But if you want the economy to develop to the level where an average nigerian can afford to pay 23k comfortably, then you have to take the 50 naira taxes seriously now! Its simple!!
Is that why you had to bring up unreasonable, ridiculous and exagerated instances to prove ur point? The examples you cited have no bearing with the N50 u just mentioned naw. Peeps wil always complain about anything so its not a biggie.

PoliticsRe: Economy Downturn: Redeploy Adeosun From Finance Ministry , Group Tells Buhari by Junior66(m): 5:08pm On Jan 19, 2016
omowolewa:
She has to be redeployed just because you don't like her face?

Is she the one that made oil price low, Is she the one that made $ to gain weight against the naira, Is she the one that told our past leader not to invest when we got everything we needed to, Is she the one who told Dasuki to steal our borrowed money, Is she the one that brought economic downturn ni?

Group, go on break.
There is more to economics than what you typed my broda. The group is only saying she cannot manage the crisis. Whether that is true or not is another issue. Economists are not meant to manage only robust economies.

If anybody here had said that guy was over-aged before this was discovered una for call am hater and liar. In Nigeria it is impossible to criticise a popular person without being called a hater.

PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Budget Fails Integrity Test, Says Senate by Junior66(m): 10:30am On Jan 19, 2016
Each passing day i try to believe PMB is a good option for Nigeria but he just wnt stop fucking up every week! What have we done to deserve him as a president? To those who use his one-sided anti-corruption fight to rate the current govt, listen to me. If PMB's economic policies fail, Baba integrity or not, we will lose more money than 20years of an Abacha administration. There is more to governance than "integrity".
PoliticsRe: How Jonathan Govt. Paid Companies Linked To Okupe To Hack ‘unfriendly’ Websites by Junior66(m): 6:48am On Jan 19, 2016
How do we know these contracts were not awarded to monitor or spy on terrorist's? Have the contracts expired? If they havn't, what are there being used for at the moment? Are there the Nigerian govt's attempt at an NIA-like surveilance systems? In as much as the last administration wasn't trust-worthy, i find it harder to believe an administration which has continued to blame her the past admin for every current failure. Both admins are not trust-worthy if u ask me.

PoliticsRe: The Dasuki Gate Scandal: A Need For Clarity by Junior66(m): 2:53pm On Jan 18, 2016
In order words, the arms deal saga is just being sensationalised to impress Buhari worshippers.
The major problem i see about this corruption fight is that it has made us oblivious of the fact that the most significant task before the FG is our failing economy.

Politicians in civilised climes do not distribute money, instead dey distribute development. our money should be used to develop infrastructure and not our stomachs. dat is why i get angry wen i see these people sharing money. just go them in suits or agbada nd claim to be from an association, u will not get less than 500 thousand naira

A time will come when these kids rejoicing over this bad news will no longer be able to buy common MTN data. A time will come when their parents will be unable to pay your school fees.

So many ediots in the country. Workers in Kogi state and indeed many states have not been paid salary since September and some useless people are shouting good news.

Who told you kids that everyone steal to eat? Some people run legitimate business and they're rich. Only a f00l, like many on this thread, would call rich people THIEVES.

Some thieves are poor, and some rich men make ends meet legitimately.

Rejoicing over poor car sales is the greatest stupidity I've witnessed since the past 10 years.

This is bad, and we are in for bigger troubles.
tell dem abeg. am also from Kogi and things are not easy here. Our Economic woes is responsible for the poor sales and not the anti-corruption stance. How do people even buy anytin wen there are not paid their salaries? The so-called corupt politicians, how many carq do they even buy? Does Goodluck have up to 500 cars? How many does Saraki and OBJ have? Most of them have less than 20 private cars.
BusinessRe: Abuja Residents Auction Exotic Cars To Raise Cash by Junior66(m): 8:34am On Jan 12, 2016
This write-up blatantly assumes most people in Abuja are politicians or beneficiaries of illegal transanctions whereas people are not even been paid their salaries! Are all car buyers Abuja residents? People come from all Neigborin states to purchase autos there. It also ignores present economic woes, if oil price falls, the nation's disposable income shrinks, this in turn will lead to reduced govt spending and its multiplier effect on consumer purchasing power. As long as Nigeria's wealth is being spent in Nigeria, corruption or no, purchases go still de kamkpe, baring some conditions sha. PMB's administration if anythin shuld make for even more purchases cos income will be more evenly distributed baring the oil crunch. Abegee make una no allow me crack my brain dis early mornin joor.
