Op he has nt married her yet so can't demand she uses her money to buy stuff for their future kitchen, it is at d lady's discretion. What he can do is to b buying d kitchen stuff himself or give d lady money to buy n bring to his house. It is his responsibility really tongue. Marriage is nt a partnership its abt a provider n a helper, dts y d woman's total submission to d man's leadership/authority is nt negotiable cool

She is moving into ur house as d man, when she moves in she must then support u. It is good sha to see her making plans towards ur future together, dt shows commitment but at this stage it's at her discretion.

By d way wat kinda of man will allow a woman move into his house with properties, she should nt move in into ur house with things beyond her clothing's, personal effects n d likes but nt gas cooker, microwave etc

U kw her well, do wat u think u shld do

I still wonder how and why some nairalanders will be blaming one political party or the president for this.

Seems childish, ignorant, and annoying at the same time.

Do the right thing for once.

This is exactly how the bodies of the allegedly "killed (105) soldiers" looked like yet some folks claimed they died from a fire accident. Even if no soldier died‚ the pictures showed bodies that were not burnt. Not tp derail‚ these killers should be given to an angry mob to destroy. We shoudnt waste time on them.

quote author=Junior66 post=40909051]. It is people like you that count Kwara, Kogi and Benue as Fulani/Hausa states. Most of the people you claim dominate our political sphere are just minority tribes from the middle-belt/northern Nigeria zone, eg IBB, Atiku, Gowon, Shagari, TY Danjuma, David Mark, Saraki etc. None of them is an Hausa or Fulani man. The largest ethnic group in Nigeria if you actually care to research (and stop reading Hausa-politicised news)is not even the Hausa people, neither is it the Fulani people. It is the Yoruba people.
The six north-central states plus Abuja and the six north-eatern states do not have Hausa people. All the North-central states states and virtually all states in Nigeria have Fulanis. I will stop here.
The Hausas occupy the following states: Kano, Sokoto, Zamfara, Jigawa, Mixed with Fulanis in Katsina, parts of Kaduna and Kebbi states, a little portion of Plateau and Bauchi states. The Fulanis are mostly in the North-east and west and are not active in the politics of North-central states.

this list is as fake as the existence of santa claus.

This cannot be the size of the entire federal civil service. it is far above this figure. it is probably the size of civil servants resident and paying their taxes in the FCT. Other than that, I will just say it is the number of people that responded to a certain online survey. The twitter handle obviously released this list with a very mischievious intent.

In a country where employment into the civil service is based purely on quota, connections, and granting of political favours, one should ask; since the early 80s, which ethnic group is largest in Nigeria? which group holds the greatest number of sits in the senate and house of reps? which group are most represented in the federal executive council? there is only one answer to all these.........the hausa/fulani. One should therefore expect that there people will be most represented in the federal civil service. and, believe me, if u are well travelled in this country expecially in the civil service circle, u will see that they are fully represented. they are greater in number.

is dis ignorance in ots purest form or r u just a dellusional? have the laws of sharia ever been enacted on people from other religions that u've heard of? it is a thing wt muslims, and sharia law is not enacted on innocent people is it? if u steal ur hands ahld be cut off, what better way is dere to instigate the fear of stealing in people? just like the laws during the time of moses dat if anyone who kills by sword, shall die by d sword. doesnt ur holy book mention in the old testament that the wages of the sins of the father shall be suffered by his offspring up until the third generation? if u'ld ask me i'ld say thats too harsh too. its called religion for a reason. to warn us against such acts. in both holy books God sent adam and eve out of garden of eden just cos they ate apple. wah happened to sodom and gomora? dint God wipe them out, isnt it because of the sam tin dahs still happening now. Stringent rules are to make people stay away from this tinz. ther are available in all books
So you believe that so long as its only members of your religion that you enact sharia law upon then it is ok? It is not! As a human and christian if i catch you cutting of the hands of your stealing muslim family members i will act. Thats the human in me.
Secondly stop telling me about the old testaments because most Christians are not proud of them and dn't even bother to use them. If Christians followed the old testaments then perhaps it would be Muslims calling us terrorists be now. We follow Christ, judge us by his examples.

Pls tell me, is blasphemy law stringent rules too? Mtcheeew. With your sharia law justice will always be a mirrage in the society.

[quote author=harristo post=40820356]Most muslims will disagree with the bold.
We've established that the Bible can be abused like the Koran to perpetrate acts of violence and others. And like you pointed out, most people including me can convincingly disprove claims made by abusers. And this is what most Muslims who try to defend Islam against abusers try to do.

I don't know much about the teachings of Islam or the content of the Koran, but the Muslims I've seen defending Islam always say their prophet taught peace.

I think this is how it went down (from what I've read). At the beginning, the prophet mohammed weighed war to conquer lands and make more people accept the teachings of Islam. Then he passed on the teachings in written form (the Koran). And this teaching, a peaceful one, is what Muslims are suppose to follow. Those who are trying to weigh war in the name of following prophet mohammed are simply abusing Islam's history.

And I said the same thing happened in christianity. At the onset, as seen in the old testament, wars were fought, people were killed. Then Jesus came and gave us a message of peace and love, followed by his apostles. People still abuse the old testament teachings and stories today.[/quote
ask those ur muslim friends what they think about Sharia laws and Jihad and your opinion about them will change.
Or better still, read the Koran and then you will discover why everybody talks about them and not other religions. I have a Koran in my room.

How many Igbo Muslims are even local govt chairmen in Igbo land, let alone commissioner. The demonised Hausa land has ministers, SGF, and even a speaker of the house, and a former governor that is a Christian. Yet, you act as if Hausas are the intolerant ones. This deception has to stop.
why are u comparing hausa states with igbo land? Those polical appointments come from northern states with at least 15-40% christian majority. Now which south-east state has up to 1000 professed muslims who live in Igbo land? Most of them are based in Kano. Stop making ridiculous comparisms. SGF from Borno state that has so many christians up to 35% of the population!

PoliticsRe: Unveiling Atiku Abubakar's 26 Children by Junior66(m): 10:49am On Dec 08, 2015
Most people believe albeit eroneously that more wives equals more children. Overpopulation in the North is not caused by people marrying more than one wife but by women or wives having an inordinate number of children (eg 11 children from one woman). It is clear that each of Atiku's wives has an average of 5 children which is just about the average number of Children per woman anywhere in Nigeria. Where comes the issue of of over-population then? I am sure most nairalanders come from families of at least 7 (father, mother and 5 children)and above. Mtcheeeew. Nairalanders with their endtime knowledge of demography.

I'm just puzzled at the attitude of the igalas(Kogi "born to rule" ) attitude towards this whole issue from onset,
Is it ideal, that in a state that comprises of Three major tribes of Igala, Okun/Yoruba and Ebira, only the Igalas have been ruling since the creation of the state, and thus Far, instead of progressing, the state has become push over and laughing stock among other states, despite how blessed it is in many ways. This is where the igalas has led us thus far..

In other sane states where there a multiple ethnicity, aren't there some form of power rotational arrangements in place?
And with the event of the latest and most recent occurrence, shouldn't the ticket running mate have stepped up and continue the almost concluded race, without hassles ?

To we, the Yorubas of Kogi (and Kwara) this is a wake up call.

Whats the political hope of the Yorubas ?

I am personally tired of my identity being suppressed and lost by so-called geo-political zone..

It's either our voice is heard as bonafide Indegenes of Kogi that we are, or we are carved to the South west where we truly belong.

All theses political suppressions here and there are part of the issues fueling the daily increase in agitation and restiveness in the south east, ss, and other parts of the country, Let there be a true nation wide referendum, let us behave like the enlightened and proud members of the 21st century world that we claim to be, and do things in civil and appropriate manner, arrogant suppression of some people by other people leads to chaos and lack of progress, we can't become developed nation with these fault lines everywhere.
The igalas are not just one of the three major tribes Kogi State. We are 51%! And the majority always rules.
