PoliticsRe: Buhari Bows To IMF Pressure, To Devalue Naira 290 To Dollar by junketer(m): 9:26pm On May 13, 2016
Sweetlemon:
What I don't get is the way people talk as if Buhari is the cause of this present economic woes.
This thing started precisely in late 2013/early 2014. I got a much better job somewhere, a financial house, but was later told that the recruitment was cancelled because of the failing economy and the company wanted to "restructure". This was Jan 2014. So what is the noise of Buhari this and that for?
You guys have no idea at all how much dollars was passed around during that 2015 elections, no idea at all. After all that please tell me why and how there won't be dollar scarcity? Don't forget this dollars are taken out of the country to foreign bank accounts o.
I still remember the worst fuel scarcity ever in Nigeria which was in April/May 2015. I still remember how almost ALL institutions and companies were shutting down, as in if Nicon hotel, media houses can shut down, then you know that wahala dey. So what's the noise of Buhari this and that for pls?
Abeggi!

Sometimes I wish GEJ won the elections just so we can see how he would have handled falling oil prices in an oil-dependent economy with the massive looting in his administration.
and here it is.....the "blame jonathan crew". I was wondering when you'd show up. Zombie

his dialect stands him out. Phyno rocks simple. Olamide is making less noise now unlike b4. I am beginning to enjoy his lines now.

stop lying with all your mouth. Are we talking about the same south Africa? grin the same south africa i have been twice. ..

Stop using google .. Go to south Africa and see real struggle or watch foreign stations where they hardly show any good part of any African country..

Even if you Google queens, ajrgunle,it will return some good picture but is that the reality on ground..
stop deceiving yourself. People struggle everywhere in the world. Yesterday i drove from joburg to upington, thats a 900km trip but guess what, there was no pothole for those 900km. I've driven from rustenburg to polokwane. From witbank to nelspruit. From joburg to durban, all the roads are just superb. Now can you say the same about nigeria? Nope. The reality on ground is that nothing works in nigeria. The only thing we got going for us are our oil and population. Can you please tell me what works the way it should in nigeria?

lol dude, you are so ignorant... Stop using Johannesburg to judge south Africa.. South Africa is a giant shithole just like most countries in Africa..

They also have power problems and poor infrastructure..
i have been to almost every province in south africa and i tell u they are all the same. Well planned with all amenities u find in joburg. Lets say joburg is lagos, abuja is pretoria, port harcourt is cape town, kano is durban, enugu is bloemfontein, ibadan is port elizabeth, onitsha is kimberley, owerri is rustenburg, uyo is nelspruit, calabar is polokwane etc. Now google pictures of these cities and compare. I am a nigerian but south africa beats nigeria hands down.

Save your energy bra! Who cares about this biggest economy nonsense when our living standards are close to the European and US? Don't we have Nigerians and Egyptian in millions struggling for our left overs while leaving their so called biggest economies behind? Do you know of any South Africans looking for greener pastures in the biggest economies like Nigeria and Egypt?

As for the rubbish spewed by this op, no need to refute what you know will not change. They can lie all they want okusalayo we are 100 light years ahead of them whether they like it or not and its not going to be changed by lies. Their lies jare just to make their suffering bearable.
read my first post on page one. I started this. I'm a nigerian but i live in south africa. U can't compare the two countries. Infact it is an insult to south africa if u try to compare it to nigeria. South africa is 1million times better than nigeria. Its only the nigerians who have never left nigeria that keep saying otherwise.

A broke person in Soweto lives in poverty, often times around drunkards, habitual drug users and criminals - those who have been abused at home, mistreated at school and probably victimized by the police.

And no, they do not have constant electricity, partly because many of these townships are informal settlements, there's no way of metering many of these homes but also because South Africa has its own energy problems. Nor do they have constant water supply.

Besides, all those things cost money so how does one without money pay for services that cost?
u mistake soweto for something else. Soweto is a well planned townships with malls and like i said all the basic amenities. It also has baragwanath which is the biggest hospital in africa. All those shacks u see are not soweto.

The economy is too dependent on oil. *saddening*

Its actually reflects in real life, but it is limited to about 1% of Nigerians. That's why we produce the richest in Africa, and the highest number of Africans living below poverty.
one percent my foot. A broke person living in soweto lives a better life than that billionaire that lives in lekki. The sowetan has 24hrs electricity, water, good roads from his door step to wherever, and all the other amenities u can think of. A lekki billionair only has comfort in his house by atleast using generator to power his house, drilling his own borehole for water and thats about it. Once he drives out of his gate with his bentley he must drive on the bad roads in lagos, get stuck in traffic jams for hours. Etc. Naija is messed up

Op pictures would have done wonders to this ur post but still it is very disturbing that nigerian governments do not care for its citizens. I once asked construction workers working on a road in johannesburg why they are working on this road when there is no pothole or anythinh wrong with the road. He answered that its been 20 years d road was built and maintained but its now time to redo everything on the road . In my head i started thinking of my nigeria and what we pass through bcus of bad roads.

Mr buhari does not realise that nigerians are already drowning. This man does not realise that all he has done so far in his first year as president is talk, fly, talk some more and fly again outside the country. Buhari is threatening people destroying pipelines but hasn't done anything to fulanis killing people. Guess the pipelines are more important to him. This man just wanted to be president and nothing else.

My bro, it's all about applying wisdom, rather than subjecting yourself to an emotion that will bring you nothing than pains. how many Hausa investors do you have in the South East compare to the numbers of Igbo business tycoon up north?
please let be rational in our reasoning.
but bro we have never seen those igbo investors in the north kill a northerner bcus of an arguement, have u? My point is we must not expect the igbo man in the east to not do anything when an hausa kills another igbo man in the east bcus they want to protect the igbo man in the north. Its like somebody coming to ur house to beat u but u don't do anything bcus ur brother is a tenant in his house. U may endure for sometime but for how long?
PoliticsRe: Aba Killing: Press Release By Abia State Government by junketer(m): 8:59am On May 06, 2016

Yesterday's crises made me aware of two things.
1. Most Igbos cannot differentiate between Hausa and Fulani people.
2. Most Igbos resident in Igbo land have the eroneous belief that all of us in the 19 "northern states" are "awusa" people whereas these peeps constitute less than 30% of our entire population.
3. To help u guys, there are no Hausas in the 6 north central states + Abuja.
4. You can also almost conveniently assume that the 6 north-eastern states (Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, and Gombe have no indegenous "Awusa" people.
5. They are also minority ethnic groups in the Northwest e.g Kaduna, Kebbi, Jigawa.
We only speak Hausa language in general. Abeg before una go kill all of us make una know una enemies.
u know what, take this ur observation and shove it.....igbos don't care anymore.

is it justifiable for an igbo soldier to kill an Hausa trader on Hausa soil? then the aggrieved Hausa residents rather than face the army now decided to face igbos? be careful what you wished for. there are more redundant Hausa in the south but many active, economical and influential igbo in the north
u know, we've heard this over and over again and its getting boring. How many times have the igbos been killed in the north, those influential igbos u r talking about? They have been killed many times but we never retaliated. Igbos were killed in the north bcus of a cartoon in denmark, did we retaliate? No. U want igbos in east to look the other way bcus of the igbos in the north abi? We have had enuff in this country and whatever anyone dishes out to the igbos we will pay back in full. We are waiting.
PoliticsRe: Aba Killing: Press Release By Abia State Government by junketer(m): 8:41am On May 06, 2016
I don't like violence but these hausa fulanis don price well. To all the yoruba shouting retaliation in the north, tell me, have u ever heard or seen that an igbo living in the north or in yoruba land ever killed ur people bcus of a fight or argument?. The fulanis have been getting away with killing the igbos and the yorubas in their own lands and until we take the matter in our own hands, the presidency wont do zilch. Gone are the days when they kill igbos in the north bcus of a cartoon in denmark. Noe, anytime they try harming the igbos in the north we will do same to their brothers here in the east. Nonsense.

I always laugh when govt keep on promising Nigerians stable electricity supply.I worked in electricity company for over 10years as a university graduate, pls don't be deceived getting electricity require megawatts and d question we should ask ourselves do we have enough megawatts to give us stable electricity but d answer is NO.So why are we expecting stable electricity and the funniest of it all, govt keep on deceiving Nigerians. If u like have Fashola or Nnaji, the bitter truth is that electricity can only be stable with enough megawatts. The most painful part of it was that govt keep on deceiving Nigerian who knows nothing about electricity.
question now is, how do we generate enough megawatt to power the country?

Yes we have nothing in common with hausa fulani. Since buhari ni wan do anything, make we kukuma do it on our own. I'm just happy that SE/SS are getting united more and more. Its now upto to the yoruba whether they want to remain a part of the south or they want to be south north.
