Some one here mentioned diabetes.
Can you please share this link.
Also what are the chances of a spouse who has Hepatitis B, though her husband who isn't immune didn't contact it and their kids didn't as well?
Thanks

You can pay using your debit card. Just choose the pay with credit card option and put your debit card details instead.
Thanks, I will try it now.

Good day, Please i've asked before but wasn't responded to by anybody.
Please house, how can I pay for WES?

Good evening elders in the house, please how can I pay for WES?
Secondly, the spouse of a friend of mine has hepatitis B though the husband isn't immune and didn't have it, now they are at medical stage; hence he wants to know whether or not this could bring any issue?
Thanks for anticipated responses.

A. good day to our elders in the house. please i need some clarifications on my soon to begin PR journey. after calculating my score using crs tool i discovered that for me to have good chance i need to select spouse not accompany. now my queries are as follows:
1. will my spouse and children need to do medicals as the the time i will be filing my application if i receive ITA considering they are not accompanying yet?
2. will i add their passport details, her educational certificates and her police clearance to my application?

B. now to my credential evaluation, please i have the following queries?
1. which assessing body should i use considering that i have ND, HND and a two years professional graduate diploma (not a post graduate diploma) in urban and regional planning, all from Yaba college of technology?
2. will there be any difference in evaluating the PGD and HND in terms of point (will the PGD give me a professional diploma or masters point)? if there wont be then i should rather not waste money but evaluate mi ND and HND; if it will give me two or certificates point (it reduces cost of applying for PGD transcript).
3. again my PGD programme is a full time programme, hope it wont affect the years of experience i intend to claim as i was equally working full time during this period. hence will IRCC not remove the period of these programme from my years of experience?
4. how true is it that the visa fee is 1040 CAD and there is a landing fee of 460CAD?
5. finally, which of the assessing body recognises yaba college of technology as i didnt see it on WES site?
thanks for your mildness and perseverance in reading my long question. anticipating your kind responses.

I am a grey hair in General Australian Student Visa thread . Have been following this thread for a while and I just want an answer to this question?.

-Can someone who has Diploma go through PR route. .?
Which class of diploma? OND, HND or which one? It's until that is ascertained, then the comparability with AQF diploma or AQF advance diploma can be done.
Nonetheless, the Group C occupations with some at skill level 2 requires only AQF diploma or comparable oversea diploma.
The elders in the house can shed more light.

Mozoe; you have done well and in my own opinion see suggestions below;
contact your assessing body once you figure out your odds;
312211 Civil Engineering Draftsperson -EA/VETASSESS (At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications ,in some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.)
232111 Architect- AACA http://www.aaca.org.au/
232112 Landscape Architect- VETASSESS
312111 Architectural Draftsperson -VETASSESS 2 ( SC190,489 only: sponsored by Tasmania only)
You wouldn't need to claim points for your spouse if you can get 60 points or above.

1.I so want to move with my child And have my hubby join later. 2.Or I move alone and have 'em join later. Or we all move together
Should I go in as a student?
Answer:1. PR is often advisable cos you don't get benefits as a student and tend to pay more for child care, Medicare etc.
2. Moving to Australia alone now would cost you more later because dependent child visa takes minimum of 13months and the child has to be outside Aussie when visa is issued. applying together all at once may be expensive in terms of visa fees and all( AUD$1870 spouse and AUD$900 dependent child, Medicals and flight cost for spouse and child: NGN81,600 and NGN659k respectively) but you can make the cash back within a short time when you get in provided you aren't selecting jobs.
If you are assessing with VETASSESS you can dial in for a fee and do a pre -assessment before you turn in your application.
I leave the bulk of the analysis and recommendations to the experienced hands in the house (VETASSESS/ EA peeps).
Pls how do I go about the pre assessment with VETASSESS?
Thanks

Madam,

I hope you know ACA won't give you a positively accessment with your HND in Architecture. Fine, you might be accessed positively for an Architectural draughtperson for the 190 subclass, But the last time I check, only Tasmania sponsor the occupation and you will be extra lucky to get an invitation.

What are the qualifications of your husband? he might stand a better chance than you in the PR race.

I'm not an expert in ausee migration matters, but I feel the best bet for you is to come with a study visa alongside your husband. You can get your PR easily after two years of study if you play your game very well. Fine, Australia is an expensive place to study but you can do a smart thing by first coming to study a 2 yr program in a TaFe (lesser tuition) and you continue in a university after you get your PR. since alot of these TaFe courses are pathways that leads to a bachelors degree in universities.

Aĺl the best!
Mi Oga, ur response about tasmania got mi attention, pls is it that tasmania dont give ITA at all or its just difficult even if u av 75 or 80 points?
Secondly, the occupation am packaging for is facilities manager which is sponsored by NT, SA and Tasmania; hence what are my chances of been invited considering that if I get positive assessment from Vetassess I will be having not less than 75 points even after reduction of years of experience. Please just need input from you as many others have also contributed but they haven't cover this area. Thanks

I'm not sure of where you retrieved the information: "Also from the AQF criteria PGD is level 8 which is higher than bachelor degree but will not be accepted for skill level 1 because learning objectives and outcome differs from Australia bachelor degree" but it feels like NNBB2012 is certain of his suggestion.

However, I'll suggest you go with bellong's suggestion on advisory service.

On the other hand, I have considered Facility manager for you at some point. So I agree that it is relevant to your degree. Also, part of the descriptions of a community worker's JD is similar to that of an urban planner- advising government on welfare matters. Use of land is a welfare matter.
Thanks mi ora at the top, I printed the said AQF criteria from VETASSES site.
Now going back to bellong's suggestion, ow do I go about the advisory service and what is the likely cost?
Additionally, pls which is better and easier for Facility management, SA (Adelaide) or NT (Darwin) or Tasmania (Hobart)?
Thanks

[quote author=SegunWamiri post=59733268]@ mamajaz: I have replied your PM since morning o. Not sure if you got it

@ junnaid: Why Transport company manager? In whats area is your experience? Do you have experience in this area? Have you considered Community worker as I suggested earlier?[/quote

From my search I observed that community worker requires qualification in highly relevant field which I don't have. Hence I search for other options which are closely related to urban and regional planning; these are Transport company manager and facility manager. They are both on skill level 2 and VETASSESS group C which requires minimum of AQF diploma or more without highly relevant field but highly relevant experience.
Also from the AQF criteria PGD is level 8 which is higher than bachelor degree but will not be accepted for skill level 1 because learning objectives and outcome differs from Australia bachelor degree.
Therefore, the choice I think I have is facility manager which is available in Tasmania, Adelaide normal list and Northern Territory: and transport company manager which is available in Tasmania and Adelaide supplementary list.
Please bellong, segun, mamajaz and other senior citizens that what av researched on, so what should I do ooooo. Am sorry for the lengthy post.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Junnaid: 9:08pm On Aug 22, 2017
@segunwamiri, bellong and senior peeps, plus since I can't apply for Urban and regional planning because it's on skill level 1 which PGD will not be accepted with HND. Hence; av decided to settle for Transport company manager which is a skill level 2 job; but the issue is that it's only in Adelaide's supplementary list requiring 80 points, also its in Tasmania and am sure u know the issue with Tasmania.
The question now is, what should I do considering that I might not get more than 75 points ( age 30: edu 10: highly relevant experience of 7yrs = 10: eng 20: and state 5points totalling 75 points) which will not meet the requirement of Adelaide. Also I might not get the stipulated job offer requirement of Tasmania.
What's the way forward my people before going for assessment with VETASSESS?
Thanks

Yes, 4 years if one is fortunate to have studied in a school that Australia classifies as a section 1 institution. If section 2 on the other hand, the course must have been studied for 5 years. Federal schools in Nigeria are under category 1 while state, polytechnics and private institutions are under section 2.

I'm afraid from the look of things, I'll suggest that you look into a related occupation but it's at Skill level 2 or 3. Otherwise, Canada might have something for you.
Please what is it about this Canada this? I don't know anything about it, so please can you get me information about it.
Also I do I get information about related jobs on level skill 2 or 3?
Thanks for your help.

SegunWamiri:
You might want to include your PGD with your HND in your assessment submission. Even at this, it's a risk as we are not sure of what VETASSESS would equate your PGD as but to not include it would definitely be a negative outcome for a Skill level 1 occupation as yours.

I recall you had your PGD studies for two years. What school did you obtain it from?
@ Lawland: Please do you think you might have any information for us in this case
I did it at Yabatech. It's 2yrs. I doubt if PGD will be recognized for skill level one.
But there is this thing i read on Vetassess site saying u need a 4yrs or 5yrs academic studies depending on the course for skill level one. And I observed that Urban and regional planning is 4yrs in Australia.
So what's the way forward?
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Junnaid: 1:26pm On Aug 18, 2017

Please is it true that HND graduate can't scale through the skill 1 level assessment with vetassess? Please advise ASAP.

The process for 489 is same as 190 and 189.

Read the opening page of this thread for further information.

What I am not sure is what vetasses will equate your PGD to. That is actually the key here.

You can do the advisory service first, at least with that, the money involved is not much of a pain if lost.
I do not intend using my PGD, but I need to be sure if they will accept HND in urban and regional planning? If it's accepted for 10 points as suggested by someone, then my points is likely to be as follows:
Age 30
Degree 10 (HND)
Experience 10 (though I started working since July 2009 then went for NYSC 2010-2011, started work immediately till date, so I think I can get 15 points here)
TOEFL 20 (you know I said I had 10 points before but now I had 20 points)
State 5
Total 75
So my ogas at the top, please what do you think of ooh before I go for assessment.

Also, pls detail me on the steps to take from scratch because aside these findings I haven't done any other thing.

SegunWamiri:
There has been an adjustment to the criteria some time last month.
Category 3A – Overseas Applicant

To be considered for this category you must be living overseas and meet the following criteria:

nominated occupation is listed on the Tasmanian Skilled Occupations List (TSOL)
you, or any of your dependents have not lived in another Australian state or territory within the last twelve months
achieved at least ‘Proficient English’ in a recognised English language test or hold a passport of the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada or New Zealand
researched the Tasmanian labour market and provide evidence (see Document Checklist) that there are sufficient employment opportunities (at least five and not more than eight opportunities) in your nominated occupation in Tasmania; and that you have:
skills and recent experience relevant to the researched employment opportunities
skills and experience relevant to the Tasmanian economy
access to sufficient financial assets to fund your migration and settlement in Tasmania while you seek employment
If your application is one of high calibre, and the Tasmanian Government is satisfied that you will be able to secure employment with ease due to your skills and previous work experience you may be invited to apply for the Subclass 190 - Skilled Nominated visa.
How do I research tasmania Labour market to know the availability level of my profession? Also like how much will I have in my account to cater for my self before employment?

I see that's 6-7 years depending on which month in 2011. After VETASSESS assessment, the highest you could be left with is 5years if they decide to be nice and that's still 5 points.

Meanwhile, I also noticed that urban and regional planner is a Skill level 1 occupation meaning that by university standards, you must have finished your program in 4 years from a Federal school or five years in a state or private school to be able to get a positive assessment.

In your case, it's a polytechnic (4) years and PGD (1) year. I'm not too sure how this might play out with VETASSESS assessment. Let's wait to hear from others
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Junnaid: 3:18pm On Aug 02, 2017
SegunWamiri:
Yes, you're right 10 points starts from 5years but I know from calculations, you would need at least 15 points from experience even with 20 points from English proficiency in order to meet up with Adelaide's 85 points criteria

As per 489, someone said earlier last week that it is more like a senior student visa..lolz. It gets you into the country but you would have to go through some trials to survive at the beginning as you are not entitled to ANY government benefits. If you have a family, it could be more difficult to settle in. Adelaide could be worse considering that it's currently rated as the state with the highest unemployment.

So my advice is look into NSW's website. Check for the requirements for nomination and see if you'll meet up. For some people, it is believed that 489 in Australia is better than staying in naija cool
May be I should delay it for another 8/9 months perhaps they would have change their policy and I would av finish my ongoing masters. It's just a thought. Place kindly advice as appropriate if my proposed decision isn't good enough. Thanks

If you really...do not like 489, then your only option would be Adelaide's 190 but if you don't have enough experience, you might not be able to meet up with the 85 points thingy
I graduated since 2009 and started work since 2011 till date on my line of profession. However, the 85 points thing isn't easy oooo.
Can u pls enlighten me on this 489 class or what decision I should take as this Adelaide isn't a child's play. What's the prospect in tasmania 489 class or Sydney 489 class? Since I doubt if I will fit in for any of the 190 class.

It would be best for you to trawl through other state migration sites to see ones that have your selected occupations on the list. If you find ones that do, check their requirements to see if you qualify.
My occupation is also in Adelaide and Sydney. However, that of Sydney is on visa sub class 489. So how can I assess their requirements.

On another hand, you could settle for their 489 but read through the requirements and conditions attached carefully. Be sure you are satisfied with them

Also, does your spouse have her occupation on the occupation list? If not, you can't claim partner skills point
What of Adelaide? I really don't like the 489. I think she has her job on the list. But ur point is noted with regards to points from her, if her job isn't there.
Hence, what's the way forward?
