Shma: I'm in my 32nd class of programming(part-time lessons). I know what an Autocorrect is. I don't know what an Auto correct is. Maybe you should just work on your grammar and be clear.
This sounds as funny as rvp also saying he is an IT guy
Shma: Why should you have a slum in the ocean? Should we call it primitiveness or basically backwardness? You can't be having slums in the middle of the road and on the shores of the ocean. This is insane!
And why are you denying your city? Accra is a village. It's evidently clear in this pic below. You can see famous high rises standing tall at the far end.
Dansoman Estate
Far developed than your Runda with no good roads .. The houses there are superb.
There's no slum anywhere on our coast kiddo, they are more developed than what you will have in Kenya..
Backwardness and primitivity is what we see in Kenya where everywhere is a slum except parkland and upperhill which are 2km apart....
Our coastlines are economic centers generating close to 300 million dollars in fishing ..
Port guard. what kind of school did you receive your education in? You sound like a redeemable non-compos mentis in the virtual world trying to regain his lost medulla oblongata.
The point here is not even that ugly road, it's the slum scattered in every corner of your village city - From village & slums to a rainbow building as you go all the way to 3 buildings airport mega CBD then slums.
And it's "develop", not "developed". Try to work on your grammar before peddling nonsense.
Shma: That dude is none compos mentis. It will take perseverance for a normal human to debate him - how can you compare a village with the 5th most dynamic city in the world?
Avoid that hobbit.
Here you are trying to compare your slumpolis to one of the world 100 most Greatest Cities ....
Now explain how you will get there because I don't think sloganeering will get you there.
Another place also more developed with even more lightweight industries, furniture manufacturers, better housing and retail facilities, custom kitchen makers, home interior decorators and everything housing than Nairobi.
popizaino: Let the world see the osu that makes Nairobi look underdeveloped and about build up area can we get the total land area of both cities to check something.
Yes even that.... Apart from the deteriorating unoccupied colonial buildings there have you seen the quality of housing there and the roads? If Kenyan communities like Kasarani, Kayole and the rest were even half as decent.. Kenya wouldn't have been so undeveloped according to AfDB.
The problem with most of your argument here is the fact that you argue with an abstract view of Nairobi thinking it's tiny area of development which is not even as Osu and Ridge whiles the rest of Nairobi is in degrading settlement and villages is enough to compare to an Accra that is completely built up.
mtisTheQubit: @Ghanaians...please stop comparing slums...just show your best side. That is all we need to see. Please post the best of Accra for Pete's sake...
Every part of Accra is the best side of Accra because we developed every part equally and that is why we post every part of it..
Don't be ashamed of Nairobi to just post 2km apart areas of it..
If not for Vankelvin, I wouldn't have known that *Kayole is also part of it
Shma: Understand where to use that term glaucoma. You can't be dropping around the bend every time you're bamboozled by other cities' development. Build Accra and you'll be proud to banter in Nairaland.
Accra is already built up...
Built up Nairobi so that you can be proud of it .... It current level of development is depressing..
Apart from Northern Africa and some southern African cities, I've not come across any other that matches Accra..
Shma: Facts are down here. These are prime CBDs of Accra. I can easily count 8 highrises and that makes the end of Accra. Accra is nothing but a village.
You can keep arguing if that will grow your brain. At least it will help you learn how to write.
I won't blame you, it's the poor education that you received... Accra CBD is huge enough to put your tiny CBD to shame.
Keep crying
Another thing for your country to catch up to.... Electricity demand increases by almost 400MW every year. Let Kenya catch up to that...
