JaceBlaze: That's the same dude who lied about his imaginary American colleagues who never heard of Michael Jackson until they came to Africa? let's not even bother with that fellow. so you think everyone knew michael jacksons music in america ? most people didn't know his music until his death there are states and counties where they have their own style of musics places where country musics and classical musics are the eish |

Danielnino00: Cameroon is the second most successful football nation in Africa (as per afcon titles) not Ghana.
Egypt - 7 titles Cameroon- 5 titles Ghana - 4 titles.. be informed..
Funny enough Ghana won its last afcon 37 years ago when only 8 countries participated in the tournament..
But football doesn't revolve around the AFCON alone...
There's the Africa women cup of nations... Africa u-17 and u- 20 cup of nations... Africa u-23 cup of nations...Africa beach cup of nations...
Then there's Africa club competitions..
How many of them have Ghana won? you are dumb on success education Ghana have been in every single finals for the last 36 years |

theenchanter: this is my last response to this.
A parent company only reimburse it's oversea operation for expansion only. In times like this when an oversea operation needs money, it takes money from its revenue while d parent company takes d risk (monies are usually repatraited to d parent company after tax has been deducted) but the parent company won't receive any money since it's oversea operation needs it.
Before a company can be listed, in nigeria for example, it must have at least 20% of the total share value or 40b naira free float value.
But in access bank case, according to u... has 150m cedis out of 450m, i dont know ghana's stock exchange requirement but I believe access bank has met it before it can be listed on ur stock exchange.
All it needs is to source the remaining 300m from ur people.
Economics 101....given to u pro Bono!
P.S...... about d bolded, access bank nigeria is doing very fine. good you were able to learn something new today |

theenchanter: many companies in d world don't raise money on their own, so shut up.
Before any company can be listed on d stock exchange, it must be relevant in that country, non profitable companies can't be listed, man!
U dont expect access bank ghana to source money from its parent company in 9ja, its not done anywhere unless it's for internal expansion, u dumbo. you are dumb that is how it is actually done You raise money from your parent company. unfortunately for access it wasnt making enough money in Ghana and it parent company was in bad shape so it had no option than to sell it operation on the local burse shhh and go and sleep |

theenchanter: even a fool knows access bank is wholly nigerian.
Keep deceiving urself. you are just dumb Access Bank Ghana Limited is to raise a total of GH¢450 million on the local bourse through a bond programme and rights issue expected to take place next year. Proceeds of the capital raising exercises are to help support the bank’s operations and meet the Bank of Ghana’s recapitalisation directive. A circular from the bank said Access Bank would be aiming at raising GH¢150 million under the bond programme that will subsequently be listed on the Ghana Fixed Income Market (GFIM) of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). The remaining GH¢300 million is to be raised through a rights issue and the proceeds will be used “to meet the new minimum capital set by the BoG,” the bank said in a December 4 circular sent to shareholders. |

sufferNsmiling: All the nigerian banks in ghana as struggling big time. The banks doing well in ghana gcb and ecobank. Then you have stanbic bank standard chartered and barclays bank which are also doing very well in the real estate sector. It looks like people are not just banking with the nigerian banks. That's why they are finding it difficult to raise capital to survive they all decided to list on the Ghana stock exchange because there was no money coming from anywhere to save them. Nigeria is already in a mess All the Nigerian banks are now partly Ghanaian owned |
