vankelvin: Yes I watched it. That man is so arrogant and empty, not his fault though I wonder which part of his body he uses to think. The speaker is not not weak but just exercising his maturity. Like Rawlings said, you don't throw away the baby with the bathwater |

vankelvin:
You know this government has proven to be the most useless Government in our history. Upon all the noise they made about a direct railway to north, they couldn't put their words into action. They are now banking all their hopes on "Mahama's" Tema mpakadan railways. They've made too much noise than necessary |

vankelvin: From 2 seperate news I watched on Joynews the Ghana-Burkina Faso rail route is the Mpakadan rail line project that is currently ongoing. They will build an inland port at Mpakadan and one in the North somewhere so a ship will carry the goods from Mpakadan port all the way to the North then a rail line carries the goods to Burkina faso
I don't know about the other rail line that will pass through Kumasi to the north Are you watching how disrespectful the first deputy speaker ( Joe owusu) is to the Speaker ( Alban Bagbin) of parliament? Bagbin is acting to mature in the House, he needs to exercise his powers especially on the NPP and shut them down. |

I don't know about the other rail line that will pass through Kumasi to the north This plan was deemed not cost efficient because the transit cost by ship was a little bit higher than just having a straight railroad from Tema to Mpakadan inland port where Kumasi bound cargos are offloaded and transited on the Eastern railway line to Bonkra inland port. Then having the Burkina Faso railway line pass through Many smaller towns and cities in order to open up the hinterlands for trade. Especially the Northern iron ore belts ( to have iron ores directly shiped by rail to the various mills In Tema... This were the points argued by Imani Ghana, Sydney Casely Hayford, Bright Simmons and co to Govt. |

vankelvin: The southern part of the project is nearing completion.
The rail line ends in Mpakadan inland port then ferries will carry the containers on the Volta lake to the inland port in the Northern Region.
So currently what is left to do is the Northern rail lines to Burkina Faso, and the assembling of new ferries that will carry the goods from Mpakandan inland port to the northern inland port Have they decide on this model or they are still going with a straight railroad from Tema to Bolgatanga (as advocated for by certain sections of cabinet) ? |

GeneralDae: That reminds me. With the might and quality of the Egyptian army, if they were cooperative, they could join forces with Algeria, S.A, and Ecowas to solve the terrorism crises in the sahel and send France out. In fact African countries in general need to be more cooperative. The A.U has to do better in terms of the unity of Africa and stop been mere puppets to foreign powers. Egypt will never cooperate with Algeria, even if they wanted to be cooperative |

Shma: Are you kruptozombie?
Heal, mr 68km countryman.
Stop exposing your tears. you're insecure about Nairobi undeveloped nature You need healing from the whipping you've received in roads 16,000km is a shame for your country add more roads so you don't become insecure when Ghana paved roads network is mentioned.. Maybe you can try comparing your country to Uganda and Tanzania or Somalia so you can tell yourself that you are not doing badly after all. Your weeping about your country poor state of road development is funny and your tears are sweet. Don't just weep about roads, weep about all other development because you are terrible at them |

Don't chain your emotions in nairaland. Build roads and 68km will not bother you.
Why are you crying like a flozzy @rs buffoon who has been denied congenital rights?
This thread didn't recognize your weeny insignificant zoo. Create a thread with Uganda and spread your nonsense there.
Zombie. Skeletal Dwarf Stop ranting .... Kenyan need to build more roads, so that you Kenyans will not feel insecure because another country built 4,263km of roads to bring their total paved roads to almost 40,000km which is 40% of their road network. It is a shame that only 16,000km of your roads are paved, which is 6% of your road network. Compare yourself with Uganda and Togo and see how badly your country is doing ... Stop being a twart of Nairaland ... You insecure kid. |

[s] Shma: First thing first, you're desperate - yet to heal. You need to learn to control your emotions, 68km stretch should not chain your feelings on this platform. People debate and move on. Nigerians are good people, our show is mostly banter and education - at least Kenya can learn something from them as they can to us. We don't take your country so seriously, that's just a fact. The reason you're forcing debates - and relevance. Ghana is insignificant as far as my memory serves me right.
Heal, dude. [/s] I don't have time to read your desperate epistle of rants. You won't find a dusty road in the city centre of any of these cities.... Your country is just irrelevant in Africa and you go about comparing your roadless country to every country in Africa just to feel good about your mess. These are Africa politically and economically relevant nations Egypt SA Ghana Nigeria These were the countries most active in negotiating debt relief for poor African countries including Kenya during COVID. No one take Kenya seriously here because your country is just a mess.. |

We have to show our muscles to the world. unfortunately you have no muscle to show The only countries that matter in this fight is the US and Russia. If the MINSK agreement signed by Ukraine is implemented, US will never be able to place it weapons on Ukrainian soil and Ukraine will never be accepted into NATO. The rest of the world is watching with concern as Oil prices hit 100 dollars and may hit 110 dollars by end of month ( a price that came too early) |
