Kazikazi: Do u know the value of Malaysian jendala optic fiberalization plan? Or Malaysia's high speed rail?
And Malaysian GDP is below 400b.
Dangote refinery is the biggest project in Africa, and it is below 19b if we count the cost of the single refinery without adding other projects as some Nigerians have said.
Can't u see how Africans are just behind on anything?
Their high speed rail to Singapore was to cost 17 billion but it has been suspended
Africa most Efficient port is Djibouti, it ranks 26 in the world..
Somalia ranks 144 Casablanca ranks 159 Victoria port( Seychelles) ranks 170 Conakry port ranks 189 Dakar ranks 196 Tema ports rank 205 in the world Freetown ranks 226 Takoradi ranks 245 Lagos ranks 260 Alexandria Egypt ranks 268 Port Elizabeth (SA) ranks 291 San Pedro (Ivory Coast) ranks 296 Tin Can Nigeria ranks 308 Dar Es Salaam ranks 312 Lomè ranks 318 Mombasa ranks 326 in the world
All the noise we were hearing from the Kenyans concerning Mombasa port efficiency was just noise like they usually make on this platform
Obaaderemi2: That's just Length * Breadth. Solve C and B separately and add the two areas. You get 2x²+24x+46... Primary school geometry.
The UK is making a huge mistake with its youths by lying to them that they could become anything they want, without telling them that it requires work. They have become soft especially in terms of STEM education. That's why I laugh at poor countries like little India trying to copy nonsense from abroad. Little Indian kids now learn how to make scarecrows in classrooms instead of learning multiplication tables.
It's so Sad seeing how they have dumb down their students.
Class rooms in the UK to day have become places for insubordination and everything else.
The GCSE maths question that is baffling students in the UK and has cause commotion 😂🤣
Man l, how can you tell me this story? I now understand why Ghanaian kids do far better in their schools.. Aki-Ola had difficult questions than this for Junior high school students in Ghana.
America's largest infrastructure project is the California high speed real. A 33 billion dollars project that has metamorphosed into a 129 billion dollars projects of 15 years and nowhere near completion.
Anyone who says Africa is not serious because it largest project is the 19 billion Dangote refinery has no idea.
Luzebox: 900 cedis is equal 11400 ksh...900 cedis -half of that in ghana can be spent in traffic...half of 11400 in kenya ...u cant..things are expensive in ghana...i took close to 4000 cedis there...and i know how crazy it is there
You brought 4,000 cedis to come and chill and you're surprised that it didn't reach anywhere with your friends?
People finish 20,000 and 10,000 in just one night, what should they say?
That is why you're asked to cut your coat according to your size. If you come to Ghana and act like a big boy, of course there'll be a market for you.
When I want to impress my woman, there are several places where I'll have to use 1000 cedis just to book a table.. This same 1000 cedis can feed 10-11 people with drinks included at a fancy restaurants with a fancy Italian menu.
rvp20182: Simple diagram to explain - Ghana cedis 10rys ago was 1 usd =2 cedis. Now it approaching 15. That tells you it has dropped 6-7 times. That is HELL ON EARTH.
Need I remind you that every basic thing that the poor in Kenya needs to survive is expensive in Kenya than in Ghana.? In most cases, they are not available Show I also remind you that even a poor person in Ghana is 3 times better than a poor person in Kenya and can afford more thing in Ghana than in kenya?
Even with that and inflation... Living standards in Ghana managed to rise to the where the middle class in Ghana is larger than that of Kenya.
rvp20182: Over consumption of sugar and starchy or anything lead to health problems. Sugar consumption remain the best indicator of wealthy nation. Ghana is poor - broke - and most of it citizens are not of sound mind like you.
the best indicator of a wealthy nation has always been disposable income and rate of saving.
Eating process sugar has always been a judge of how bad the health of a nations population is 🤣😂
Kenyans are too poor hence can't afford proper balanced diet. They put sugar in all the foods they eat to have some taste. This is why at lot of Kenya are dying from lifestyle disease even and that is why HIV/AIDS death remain the highest cause of death in kenya. Sex tourism
rvp20182: Get your eyes tested. Poor Tanzania is consuming 9 kilos. It will remain as poor as west african countries. Sudan is one with 43 kilos - south africa 28.
Generally it well know the more wealthy - the more sugar consumption.
Sugar is most critical element in preparation of many foods.
68816419: Lol..from the table u presented, do u now agree that Tanzania is wealthier than Kenya. Since ‘Sugar consumption is one best indicator of wealth ’?
The only link between sugar and richness is how poor it makes people by the health complications it bring 😂🤣
We know that Kenya is poorer than Ghana. So you're neither here nor there.
There's no link between sugar consumption and rich or poor but there's a link between diabetes, chronic heart disease, high libido in women, low manhood performance and sugar consumption .
Ghana's attention to Science, Maths, Engineering and Technology is paying off as the country bags a 300 million dollars data center will support AI development across Africa. A one of it kind facility
rvp20182: Little Zoo that import all it's sugar has no shame speaking about kenya - which has huge sugar production - of 650K metrica tonnes against 1.15m consumption.
Ghana’s sugar industry is virtually fully dependent on imports. Local production remains negligible at a mere 150 tonnes in 2013 according to the UN data, and there’s a mere 6,000 hectares of sugar plantation in existence.
With two sugar mills in Asutsuare and Komenda, these facilities have been lying idle since 1983 largely due to inefficient management. However, the Komenda Sugar Factory was revived in 2015 and 2016 – but was shut down shortly after due to lack of raw materials
Diversionary tactics
Your zoo can't even buy sugar such that there is shortages everywhere. Why must Kenyans suffer to queue for everything, that Is a horrible way to live.
Ghana sugar consumption is 360,000 metric tonnes. I learnt every food in Kenya has sugar in it and that is why you guys consume 4 times more sugar than Ghanaians. 🤣😂
No wonder your men sell their wives for sex tourism 😂🤣
rvp20182: mad cow wait until we turn to you broke country..the Zoo is capable of defending itself n also own you..Dangoteland extend all way to your slavery kimgdom
lunatic rant
Go and queue for your next sugar dose in that Bankrupt zoo of yours
rvp20182: Dangoteland...how has it help you cement or sugar...situation. what are you celebrating
Rich coming from a country with sugar shortages as we speak and people are joining queues 3 days long just to buy a small gram of sugar like in Soviet Russia
Jospond group of companies is about to convert all it dump trucks into electric vehicles to reduce the cost of fuel on the company. They might be looking at pretty powerful motors
The plant will convert combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles just like Solar Taxi is doing in Ghana
Obaaderemi2: They have no options. Their budget deficit keeps growing and is about to hit 9%. It shows Kenya is unable to balance its books because what it spends is far higher than what it earns. The only option is to cut salaries and sack enmasse.
That will be unconstitutional and the second will be recipe for political unrest.
The only options is to continue defaulting on selected loans since debt restructuring will be impossible for them because of China.
Ghana's investment in Rice production has beared fruit attracting private capital into the field as Ghana has reach production levels of 1 million tons
Luzebox: I get what you are saying...that is the least for any one...still each country has its standard also..for an American 50$per day is crazy poor..becos of the cost of living ..in Nigeria..you are in heaven if u earn that per two days..in Ghana 10$ per day is still bad..in Nigeria you are doing well ..are you saying. 5dollars 50cedis per day is middle class in ghana
Yes that's what I'm saying according to World Bank and Ghana statistical service. This is the standard set for lower middle income countries and Ghana set it standard base on living conditions here within those.
At that rate of spending, you have entered lower middle income.
Luzebox: you said spending below 2.5 dollar...Im just telling you spending btw 3 to 9 dollar right now in Ghana is still really poor unlike some other countries..10$ is like the survival point.. you still can't even live good on that...it like u are not understanding...I am tired of dragging this
In Ghana right now as I'm telling you and according to global standard set by the world bank and Ghana statistical service who have observed living standards in Ghana to set what is poverty and what you have to be spending to be above the waters. If you're spending above 3 dollars in Ghana per day, you're doing pretty well and if you hit 5.5 dollars you're in the middle class
You're dragging something you're still not understand. This is the global standard and in Ghana, you'll live a good life if you're spending above the limit set as the poverty line.
No matter what country you're in in Africa, if you're spending below that 3 dollars mark, you're pretty poor. You may be able to feed yourself but won't be able to do anything else.
