Please I will be processing my wife transcript tomorrow and From the information I gathered the school will be sending it directly. Now my concern is we registered with her married name and the result will carry her madien name! So which name will reflect on WES portal

Wes will use the name you registered on their portal with and quote the name on the credentials but also mention "The name on one or more of the credentials submitted for evaluation differs from the name above"

So you will need her change of name documents when submitting your application with cic.

Nothing is wrong with using speakers, it all depends on your concentration level, i wrote with MOD/ IDP and i had a good result. Wish you all the best

In my opinion,I prefer the speaking test at MOD IDP,the examiner was really friendly when I wrote the test,he was really friendly and amiable,my anxiety disappeared as soon as he started talking with me,he made the whole encounter as relaxed as possible.

1.The listening is major, it’s hard to get 8 with IDP but easier with BC, but it’s easy to get 8 or even 9 with reading in IDP

2. Their EOR IS 46k which is notbtalistic in any way to much risk for no upgrade

3. They commit fraud on their EOR. Mine wasn’t sent I was issue a letter that my result was unchanged but when I contacted Australia they said they never received it.

Don’t be deceived by their quick response to mail and the water they give you in exam hall it’s just 2 cartons of water BC has thousands of candidates but they are managing just fine

I learned that IDP MOD now have headset for the listening test.

They might just be a better alternative to this BC.

Anyone close to their office should confirm this piece of info and get us a feedback.

Me i still dont know what MOD is o, but i sha know we used headphones when we wrote the exams. Hope this helps?

LOL... MOD IDP (www.ielts.ng) is an alternative to British council. They entered nigeria late last year but has been using loud speakers for their listening test while BC uses headsets.

My IELTS Result

Listening: 7.5
Reading: 9.0
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 8.0

Please who knows if MOD IDP is now using headsets. The next available date for BC is 21st April and seems too long.
