Processing of transcript in my uni costs 5k, and processing time is estimated at 3weeks, cus of the strike here in nigeria..

The school is insisting on sending it to d required institution. My question is; do i indicate my Uni-assit acct no. On the envelope or on the transcript when processed?

emeka55: I don't know if u are applying for Bsc or Msc but most Universities don't require Toefl or IElts from Nigerians and some would tell u to present a confirmation that ur Bsc was taught fully in English and ur English is good. Just very few of them do. Instead of me to spend about 50k writing toefl or ielts, I'll look for a Uni that does not require it or simply change my course till I get there. Then I'd probably use the money to run applications or save it for my insurance

emeka55: Well said. Some don't even try to read through at least 3 pages before they ask, to see if their questions have been answered. What is more depressing is when they ask questions on behalf of their brothers or sisters that are also matured graduates. I know the kind of research I did on different sites before I came across this thread and I had to read through. Just watch someone will soon come here to ask "I want to study in Germany, what do I need?" Or "I need a list of schools in Germany to apply for Summer"... Oh dear lord!
