What's the thinking behind the decision?

It's always good to book some profit. My average entry price is 9, so its only fair to book some profit and allow 70 percent to run. If it reverses tomorrow or in few days, I'll reenter again at lower prices.

You are the CEO of your portfolio. DD advised

Currently 50 and 72 percent up on both Zenith and GTCO respectively. Can't complain, only grateful to God almighty for the grace to buy when others were fearful and waiting on GTCO at 12. grin grin grin

90 percent on Axa mansard, bought at N2.20

At the launch of the refinery on Monday, Aliko actually gave special mention to two banks only: ACCESS and Zenith. These are the two banks that will reap the most from Dangote Refinery.

Net impairment charge on other financial assets of 35B (2022) as against 760M (2021).... shocked
Could this be the reason why there was a drop in profit and EPS?

That's a red flag. Probably why they gave 2.8 to calm shareholders

Hope you can say the same thing for OANDO, SKYE and other Companies that have been delisted or scrapped? Trading on shares with good fundamentals remain the best strategy.

Exactly what I wanted to say. In this market, you need to constantly monitor and rebalance your portfolio based on fundamentals.

You can add bank PHB, oceanic and Evans medical on that list grin

You can add yours grin

How about holding on to your possession and sourcing for additional funds to align with UBA.
Might not be a bad idea you know!

Most individuals who have the courage to invest in stocks already have basic math skills, yet there aren't a significant number of successful stock investors simply because it is a zero sum game. Someone gotta lose for another to gain.

Also, It's short-sighted and egotistical to think that only your approach is correct and that other methods won't work. The world isn't binary or black and white, and there are many ways to approach a problem.

Gbam! That's what I observed here. I completely agree with you bro.

All models can be modified for better results.. that's why innovation is the way forward.

That GTCO price was a bargain. It's a stock loved by investors. It was most likely an FPI pulling out with no FPI ready to pick it, but local bargain hunters grin

Sitting on good profits right now with at least N2.50 dividend to come grin

From the price history of all the banking stocks they attained those prices when FPIs we're around and after their exit they follow their usual cycle

Leave Agba. grin he was waiting for GTBank at 12 when I was shouting buy last October grin

You can't compare Dangote with other billionaires who have shares listed on NGX.

Shareholders call Alhaji, " Omoluabi of NGX" for a reason

I am very happy for you as per Geregu although I won't touch it with a long pole, just keep an eye on the fundamentals, valuation and sustainability of the business.

Can assist me with the return on equity, profit margin, ROIC, debt profile of Geregu

Sir, on geregu, I didn't use any parameter but followed the owner. Same way I buy shares owned by Alhaji irrespective.

It was a gamble, and at the moment it has trippled in valuation grin
