Romance / Re: Is This A Legit Reason For Being Single? by JusthowIfeel: 2:46pm On Feb 12, 2023
It is a common fear for many people to be financially unstable and not have enough resources to support themselves or a partner. However, being single because of this reason is not a definitive solution. Financial stability and security is an important aspect in a relationship, but it can also be achieved by working together with a partner, seeking advice, and making smart financial choices. It's important to evaluate what other factors contribute to your desire for being single and if it's truly what you want in life.

Being single is a personal choice and can have a variety of reasons, including but not limited to: wanting to focus on personal growth, not having found the right person, and prioritizing other aspects of life. However, being single should never be based on feeling less worthy or not deserving of love and companionship. Every individual is deserving of love and happiness, regardless of their circumstances. It's important to focus on self-care, seeking support from friends and loved ones, and seeking professional help if needed to improve one's mental and emotional well-being.

It's okay to feel overwhelmed and lost. But please remember, you are not alone in your struggles. Your life has purpose and you have so much to offer the world. Reach out to a friend, loved one, or mental health professional for support. Your life is valuable, and things can get better with time and help. Stay strong and hold on. Please!
Romance / Re: He Ran Away Because Of Valentine's Gift by JusthowIfeel: 2:36pm On Feb 12, 2023
It is not fair to assume that he's trying to run just because you mentioned wanting a car. People have different reactions to things and it's possible that he's just busy or facing other personal issues. It's important to have open and honest communication with your partner and clarify any misunderstandings or concerns you have. You can reach out to him and have a conversation to understand the reason behind his behavior.
Romance / Re: My Ex Wants To Come Back by JusthowIfeel: 2:32pm On Feb 12, 2023
It's important to consider both your own feelings and the feelings of others in this situation. Before making any decisions, it's essential to have an honest conversation with both your ex and your current partner to understand their perspectives and to determine what's best for you and your relationships with each person. Ultimately, the decision to stay with your current partner or rekindle a relationship with your ex should be based on your own happiness and well-being, not just physical changes or external circumstances.
Romance / Breaking Free From The Social Media Trap: How To Avoid Wasteful Time Online by JusthowIfeel: 7:25pm On Feb 08, 2023
Social media has become an integral part of our lives. From scrolling through our Facebook feed to checking our Instagram stories, we spend countless hours on our phones every day. But, are we really getting the most out of this time? Or is it just another form of procrastination and a waste of time? Unfortunately, too much time spent on social media can come with a whole host of negative side effects. So, how can we avoid wasteful time on social media and protect ourselves from the negative consequences of being glued to our phones?

First and foremost, it's important to understand that social media is designed to be addictive. The endless stream of notifications, the constant stream of updates, and the instant gratification of likes and comments are all part of a carefully crafted strategy to keep us coming back for more. But, this addiction can lead to a lack of focus and decreased productivity. If you find yourself constantly checking your phone during the day, it may be time to take a step back and evaluate your social media habits.

One way to avoid wasteful time on social media is to set specific times for checking in. This could be first thing in the morning, during lunchtime, and before bed. During the rest of the day, you can put your phone away and focus on your work or personal life. You'll be amazed at how much more productive you become when you're not constantly checking your phone.

Another way to avoid wasteful time on social media is to be intentional about what you consume. Instead of mindlessly scrolling through your newsfeed, take some time to curate your feed and follow accounts that inspire, educate, and entertain you. By being intentional about what you consume, you'll be less likely to waste time on content that doesn't add value to your life.

Social media can also have a negative impact on our relationships. When we spend all our time scrolling through our phones, we are neglecting the people in our lives. It can be difficult to be fully present in conversations when our attention is split between the person in front of us and the screen in our hands. This can lead to feelings of disconnection and isolation, even within our closest relationships.

Take for example, Justhowifeel, a young couple who found themselves constantly distracted by their phones during dinner dates. They realized that their relationship was suffering as a result of their constant phone use and made a conscious effort to put their phones away during meals. By being fully present in the moment and engaging in conversation, they were able to deepen their connection and enjoy each other's company in a way they hadn't before.

Being glued to our phones can also have a negative impact on our mental health. Studies have shown that excessive social media use can lead to increased feelings of anxiety, depression, and loneliness. When we constantly compare ourselves to the highlight reels of others, it's easy to feel inadequate and like we're not measuring up. It's important to remember that social media only shows us a carefully curated version of someone's life, and that it's not an accurate representation of reality.

Finally, social media can also have a negative impact on our physical health. When we spend hours upon hours staring at screens, we are exposing ourselves to blue light, which can disrupt our sleep patterns and lead to eye strain and headaches. Additionally, sitting for extended periods of time can lead to a host of health problems, including back pain, neck pain, and poor posture.

In conclusion, avoiding wasteful time on social media is essential for maintaining our productivity, relationships, mental health, and physical health. By setting specific times for checking in, being intentional about what we consume, and being mindful of our phone use, we can protect ourselves from the negative consequences of excessive social media use.

Romance / Starting Strong: A Guide To Navigating The Reality Of First Year Of Marriage by JusthowIfeel: 12:26am On Feb 07, 2023
Marriage is an exciting milestone, filled with endless possibilities and newfound love. However, the first year of marriage is often when the honeymoon phase begins to fade, and couples start to realize that married life is not always as picture-perfect as they had imagined. Expectations and reality often clash, leading to disappointment and frustration. But, it doesn’t have to be this way. Navigating the first year of marriage can be a smooth and joyful experience if you approach it with the right mindset.

Here are some tips for surviving and thriving in your first year of marriage:

Manage your expectations

It’s natural to have high expectations for your first year of marriage, but it’s essential to keep them realistic. Don’t expect everything to be perfect all the time. Expect to have disagreements and challenges, but also remember to communicate and work through them together.

Prioritize communication
Communication is key in any relationship, and it’s especially important in the first year of marriage. Set aside time each week to talk openly and honestly with your spouse about your feelings, concerns, and goals. This will help to keep your relationship strong and healthy.

Learn each other’s love languages
Every person has their unique way of expressing and receiving love. It’s important to understand your spouse’s love language and to make an effort to show love in the way they prefer. This will help to build a strong foundation for your marriage and ensure that both partners feel valued and loved.

Build a support system
Marriage can be tough, especially in the first year. Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends and family members who can offer encouragement and advice when you need it. This will help to keep your marriage strong and resilient.

Seek professional help
If you’re struggling in your first year of marriage, don’t be afraid to seek professional help. A licensed therapist or counselor can offer guidance and support to help you navigate the challenges of marriage and improve your relationship.

In conclusion, navigating the first year of marriage is not always easy, but it can be a rewarding experience if you approach it with the right mindset. Remember to manage your expectations, prioritize communication, learn each other’s love languages, build a support system, and seek professional help if necessary. With these tips, you’ll be on your way to a strong, loving, and successful marriage.

Family / The Power Of Confession And Forgiveness In Building Strong Relationships by JusthowIfeel: 3:15am On Jan 27, 2023
When it comes to building strong and healthy relationships, the power of confession and forgiveness should not be overlooked. These two concepts can have a profound impact on the way we interact with our partners and the way we view ourselves.

Confession is the act of admitting to one's mistakes and taking responsibility for one's actions. It can be a difficult and vulnerable process, but it is essential for growth and healing. By confessing our mistakes, we are able to take ownership of our actions and make amends for any harm we may have caused. This not only helps us to move on from past mistakes, but it also helps to build trust and intimacy in our relationships.

Forgiveness, on the other hand, is the act of letting go of resentment and anger towards someone who has wronged us. It is not about condoning or excusing bad behavior, but rather about releasing ourselves from the negative emotions that can hold us back. Forgiveness can be a powerful tool for healing and growth, both in ourselves and in our relationships.

Together, confession and forgiveness can be a powerful combination for building strong and healthy relationships. They allow us to take responsibility for our actions, make amends, and move on from past mistakes. They also help to build trust and intimacy, and create a sense of emotional safety and vulnerability.

At Justhowifeel Community, we understand the importance of confession and forgiveness in building strong relationships. Romance / 5 Proven Strategies For Building Strong And Lasting Relationships - Justhowifeel by JusthowIfeel: 6:25am On Jan 23, 2023
Building strong and lasting relationships is not always easy, but it is definitely worth the effort. Whether it's with a romantic partner, a family member, or a friend, having a solid support system can make all the difference in our lives. In this post, we'll share 5 proven strategies for building strong and lasting relationships:

Communicate openly and honestly: The most important aspect of any relationship is open and honest communication. By being transparent with your feelings, thoughts, and needs, you can build trust and understanding with the other person.

Show appreciation and gratitude: Expressing appreciation and gratitude for the other person can go a long way in strengthening your bond. Let them know how much you appreciate them and what they mean to you.

Practice forgiveness:
Holding grudges and harboring resentment can damage relationships. Practice forgiveness, let go of negative feelings, and move on.

Be supportive: Be there for the other person, both in good times and in bad. Offer support, lend a listening ear, and be willing to help out when needed.

Invest time and energy: Building strong and lasting relationships takes time and energy. Make an effort to spend quality time together, and put in the work to make the relationship a priority.

By following these strategies, you can build strong and lasting relationships that will bring joy and fulfillment to your life. Remember, relationships are a two-way street, so be sure to give as well as take.

Family / Re: How Do Spouses Whose Partners Live Abroad Cope Sexually? by JusthowIfeel: 9:53am On Dec 01, 2021
Well, distance relationship is not for everyone.

There are a whole bunch of partners that are faithful despite the distance barrier and there are several coping mechanism they put in place in order to not feel 'Out of sight is out of mind.' It all falls back to what the partners want and how they tend to manage their closeness with their daily activities.

It's the era of internet, mobile apps and communication now knows no boundary.

Communication they say is "key" and being sincerely open while communicating is a huge deal.

Both partners must understand boundaries of physical touch. Spicing things up virtually can replace physical activities too.

More brutal truth is definitely needed in terms of distance romance. Speak out about what you want and how you want your partner to communicate and reach out.

Create schedules ahead (together).

Love is a natural feeling, there's no reason to feel bad about asking for help.
Irrespective of how it sounds, we all tend to fall a victim of such beautiful feeling in our daily lives:

From being shy around our crush to forgetting what to say around them which is a natural feeling because we definitely want to feel extra ordinary around them. grin

Btw, what exactly do you want people to tell you?

How to request for help without sounding awkward or you don't just want to look like you're trying not to be disrespectful with your move?

Either way, most questions don't get answered because people don't tend to "ASK".

So go on and ask for help when needed.
