You are absolutely on the right path. Same thing I planned doing for my daughter (also 10years). She's currently in primary 6 and by September, hoping to gain admission into high school. Well, in her own case, she is going to be a day student and the weekends will be used for the skills acquisition programs. I think the earlier they start, the better for them.
