dyydxx: It's wrong on principle for someone that has serve lagos West for almost 16 years both as House Of Reps and then senator to now be serving Ogun west as a senator and now wants to be a governor OH WRONG NOW. KO RIGHT RARA just based on principle.
What about the people that actually stuck with Ogun from the beginning? 😂 |

haffaze777: I see desperation in him to be governor of Ogun state,he first tried to represent Ogun Central before he represented Ogun West,I don't like such character. What if Central people had allow him to represent Central, won't he be fighting to be next governor of Ogun state despite knowing that Ogun West deserve it most. Hmmm. You have a point. Pls, can you cite any proof that he was trying to represent the central? |

dyydxx: I am personally against Yayi too. But be realistic, if Asiwaju is the president for the next 8 years, I fail too see how Yayi will be stopped after Dapo leaves the place. Dapo basically Ensured he got this senatorial seat, and Asiwaju will ensure he gets the govt ticket for APC after Dapo.
Unless PDP gets there acts together, there is no stopping Yayi 2027. And Pdp is even more divided than when Buruji was alive so forget it guy, YAYI will be the governor. Only death can stop it now My permutations exactly. Nice one. But why are you against Yayi becoming the governor? |
Politics › Re: Senator Adeola Wins Ogun West Senatorial Seat by Justmesagi: 7:54am On Feb 27, 2023 |
haffaze777: I hope and pray Ogun Central will buy into it,I really want next governor to come from Ogun West but Yayi is turn off for me and majority of people I spoke to here share the same sentiment, but 2027 is still far and I think a lot can still be changed. Why did u say he's turn off? |
Politics › Re: Senator Adeola Wins Ogun West Senatorial Seat by Justmesagi: 7:45am On Feb 27, 2023 |
haffaze777: Yes he wanted to represented Ogun Central before he ported to Ogun West,I can confidently tell you that more than 70% of Egbas are rooting for Yewa son as next governor,I'm not from iIjebu and I don't know much about their plan, but your people always fall our hands, instead of presenting a candidate, you will be presenting like 4 to 5 candidates and allow a single candidate from Egba or Ijebu to steal your turn.hope you've learned from past error sha. As it is now, I think Yayi is being positioned for the next governorship candidacy of the APC in the next election. He might become the strongest politician in Ogun West in no distant time too. So he is the best bet for Ogun West in the near future. |

haffaze777: Why would we allow him?Do you know he first came to represent Ogun Central senatorial district? There's reason we don't allow him to represent us here,After dapo 8 years,I trust our Yewa people to give us one of their son except Yayi. You mean he wanted to represent Ogun central before he later ported to West? Maybe he has ties with them. My point Sha is you Egbas and Ijebus should give Yewa/Awori a chance. |

Yayi is not the only Yewa man so what's it? Ok let's agree that u are right. Why wouldn't you Egbas allow him rule Ogun? |

Perhaps you made a mistake but stop this dribbling pls. Ok if u were saying Egbas, are u implying that Egbas are tribalist who would never allow others have their fair share after they've gotten theirs? |

FreeStuffsNG: Only one candidate is leading with a million votes and ,among all the candidates, has been the only one who has met the 25% required of all the states released so far as required by the constitution. That candidate is Asiwaju Tinubu. PDP and PDP-lite lp can keep cancelling each other. Ok. I just don't want a continuation of Northern misrule for another 8 years. |

Throwback: That is Yoruba regional harmony at play.
He has always been an Ogun boy, just as Hamzat that is Lagos Deputy Governor is the son of a Lagos politician who is now king in Ogun State.
This is the harmony that Tinubu is bringing to the federal level, if only other regions can catch up and have such intra-ethnic harmony in their own regions. Which Lagos politician are you talking about, sir? |

The way things are going, I am afraid Atiku, another Fulani, will be announced as the next president of the federal republic of Nigeria. I wouldn't like this. I prefer a Southerner whether Tinubu or Obi to take over from Buhari after 8 years of incompetence, but it is sadly the reality right now. What will be the gain of the South? Become a total slave to the North? Will Atiku ever fulfill his promises? Will he restructure the country? |
