Good evening everyone. Here’s my profile, I was refused F1 visa last year July in lag. It was my first time, I didn’t sit for any standardized test at that time, nor have I been outside Nigeria at that time all these the V. O at that time asked me tplus I stuttered a lot and wasn’t loud with my response also my SOA wasn’t in order at the time. Fast forward to today, I am going for interview again this coming week. My profile: sat for Toefl and GRE. Traveled to another African country last year. Got admitted to another school different from the the previous one! UNH now. Also got some partial scholarship 20% Remaining deficit =27706$ Course = sports management MS I am 27. I have a SOA from my uncle about 10.4m and a refrence letter from his company. What could you suggest in my case below is my intended transcript. Me:Good morning V.O: good morning Pass your pspt and i20 form. Me: sure VO: where are you going to? Me: UNH for masters study in Sports mgt. VO: how did you know about the school? Me: An alumni told me about the school, and I discovered according to Princeton review it’s one of the top ranked universities that has an active research status in southern New England region. VO: how many schools did you apply to? Me: 5 VO:how many admits Me: so far 3 admits, 1 reject and 1 pending VO: did you write any test? Me: yes GRE , TOEFL VO: scores ? Me: 284, 83 VO: why UNH? Me: Apart from the partial scholarship, my course adviser Dr Ceyda Mumcu is keen to have me work with her research team she’s currently conducting a research in the area of sports facility management and this aligns with my undergraduate final year research work as a graduate of project management. So this will serve as a step for me! VO: what will this course do for you? Me: after completion when I must have garnered the required knowledge and professional skills, I will be working as a sports facility manager in Nigeria sports institution like the NFF, to help tackle problems of poor facility management and poor maintenance operations. Also in the long run I plan to establish a sports camp or recreational park where I can work to promote physical fitness among children and adults in my community. VO: Tell me about your research Area? Me: I will be focusing on the area of Sports Facility management. I will be working under supervision to deal on analysis of sports facility management and its impact on financial stability of sports institution. VO: who is your sponsor? Me: my uncle, VO: what does he do? Me: he owns so so which has branches in bla bla cities. VO: how long has he been sponsoring Me: since 2010 my undergraduate days. greetings to all in the house, the masters Will10, Accadollar, and everyone I write to ask this recently I went to apply for visa in Abuja (student visa) I have been I contact with my school in SK and I submitted a bank statement the one from my uncle a business man so after all said and done with the school, I went to apply for visa in abuja on getting to their embassy I was ushered inside by the guards and I sat and wait for my turn as directed by the VO as I came to his desk he gave me a form to arrange my document according to the requirements in the form. So to cut the long story short I saw this its no.3 requirement on the form for student visa, that when applying for visa that you should submit a bank statement that is from an Abuja branch bank and I don't have that at the moment, so gurus in the house how do I go about this. And my uncle is very busy to come to abuja and get this for me as he is always busy with his work. and the VO said it should be submitted as instructed if not it might lead to denial of visa. Please those that have gone this road before direct me aright as I have a few days to go back to the embassy. God bless everyone that gives a helpful suggestion.!!! Thank you all!!!! |
