It's complicated. Prayer works and prayer also does not work. If I have to pray for success, I must be certain to work towards the attainment of that success or else fail by default no matter the prayer. Some prayers are stupi.d and pointless. Example if I pray for God to give me 40million by the end of the year(except I kidnap Finance ministers mother ![]() ![]() ![]() )The bible talks about praying according to God's will, I will add you must also be willing to work in the will and channel your effort to the attainment of the will or the prayer is just pointless. Only in rare cases does prayer work without effort from the praying indivdual, Divine Intervention. For the president, he just being plain silly, he doesn't want to take full responsibility for his actions hence his boycourt is prayer. The earlier he understand his effort towards making Nigeria better is all that matters, not necessarily prayer, he needs to start using his brain and stop expecting God to come down from heaven to help because it won't happen. This is more reason I love athiest although I know they are on the wrong path and non of them should quote me. An athiest takes full responsible for his life, actions and decisions, he believes if you have to get something, work towards it but in religion we have decided to put everything on God and devil |
PREMIUM TIMES learnt that Mr. Osoba, governor from 1999-2003, had foreknowledge of the potential destruction of his father’s grave and had exhumed the corpse. He re-buried the corpse at his private residence located in the Government Reserved Area, Ibara, Abeokuta. It must have taken great humility for Osoba to have accepted the move. It's obvious Amosun isn't ready to engage in favoritism because either way you look at it Osoba is his boss to some extent, great news for Nigerian Politics. About the corpse, I'm wondering what was being exhumed, I expected the body to have decayed by now, except they exhumed his bone |
“How did they get in?, how did they enter?, who shipped them?, who imported them and who cleared them?. Who approved them to come in. Those are very serious issues.Nigeria custom service is another epitome of corruption |
solomon111: If you 've not seen any improvement in the country, then you must be a very insincere person.Maybe, you list them for us |
jidegirl12: Bravo!!! Good deductions !! NOT*sighs* |
Smooyis: . Well I think u are wrong to have insulted our president like that. You can always express your opinion without being rude. Infact u need to tender apology for this especially if u ever pray to be an achiever. Uneasy lies d head dat wears the crown. All we need do is to positively criticize d president and other leaders and also encourage them to do better.Apology my a*s*s. This doesn't stop me from achieving my goals, in fact I expect to be more criticised than him, it's part of what his office entails. If he knew he couldn't stand the heat he wouldn't still be in office now. Encouraging him doesn't change the fact that he is indecisive and confuse which is evident in the Op's post. |
greatgod2012: as for me o, my own man never refuse to eat when there is disagreement. He calls me and request for his food, d only thing is that, there may not be jokes cracking, but will definately not reject d food and at d same time, makes sure d disagreement do not last beyond a day. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The bolded got me laughing |
SniperInADiaper: I have my lovers name tattood on me.smh |
okpara ugo: I have learnt that you are jobless.I saw this coming, I knew someone would make that statement of yours and frankly I wasn't dissapointed. That I'm jobless doesn't necessarily mean I need a job |
Symptoms of a failed brain. How many mosques have the church attacked?. How many christians have forced a muslim to become a christian at gunpoint? When was the last time the news showed christian rioting? I can go on and on |
I will ask Mrs Iweala for 40 million naira or she gets a knock out punch that will leave her unconscious for a year |
HumbledbYGrace: like sheriouslyThat's one book you need to read to understand why I'm robotic in real life situation |
jidegirl12: You sounded like it and I don't give a hoot what you think!Basically from your post, I dont necessarily have to view Callotti's post to know what's wrong. Relax, this is a faceless forum(though some of us have decided to come out with our face), you don't have to take thinngs too personal. Work more on seeking to understand the other person before you react and respond. Read the tone behind his post. The simple truth is just that you misunderstood my intent initially, everything that transpired between both of us on this thread before this post wasn't really something I took serious. Hating someone on a faceless forum is pointless, some people just try to be stupid to generate traffic on the user name, you can't hate them until you meeet them in a real life situation. By the way it's better and more preferable to ignore someone than hating the person. |
okpara ugo: 2012 JAMB past questions.I had to ask because of what she wrote in her post, doesn't reflect that of someone who is married. So what's the paper type and answer? As for me, it‘s when he refuses to eat that i even scatter the house more with nice aroma. |
jidegirl12: I mean it she's the only one on this earth I HATE.... I say what I mean and I'm not taking it back!I never judged you, my sisters are barristers, they are in the position to do that. I have not seen the post, I will check for it though, probably sarcasm or joke, it depends on the tone of the post. I will check the post though. |
shilling: Do your research. It has happened and it will still happen. What are the chances?, probability. Give me a figure. |
NeeFEmi: You ll get d best if u deserve onesmh @ your clause. |
dmcdad: Does it seem righteous?the thought of seminary and priesthood |
HumbledbYGrace: wat m I getting for christmas? You mean next year, because as far as k2039 is concerned gifts are meant to be dished out on the 25th and boxed out on the 26th. Besides I already gave you a gift yesterday, view my earlier post on this thread. |

dmcdad: I think you owe me an explanation on what prompted you to write the abovediary |
Ribadu's committe, but some how the recomendations were discarded. |
