My Personal Experience!

While preparing for service year, I made a choice to serve in the north and at least a state that appears least on news. With least competition and where I had better advantage as a fresh graduate.

I choose Kebbi state and I was posted there. Made a choice to do whatever it takes to gain employment there.

After service year, I was employed by one of the contractors that was responsible for planting grass in the Rice Mill in Argungu to work as a gardener. I did that for about a month and I was asked to submit my CV for a role in the company as a Data Entry Officer. I was interviewed and got the role.

In my 7th month I was confirmed as a staff and when I completed a year, I resigned.

Started a volunteer role in a printing press to learn and sharpen my graphics skills before I finally got my dream job.

With that added experience on my CV, I got the job I actually Desired, though I stayed over 7months without Job. But it came finally.

I hope this helps someone.

Last night I placed an order for some consumables and I paid more than I was billed. When the service provider received the payment, he asked what the extra payment was for. I replied ‘because you need to really get comfortable receiving payments’.
