And what familiarity does the graduate trainee have with Tony elemelu?

Do you think tech is the only game in town and the only people who have earned respect are tech bros?

Tony elemelu has a track able history and we all watched him start standard bank, acquire/merge with UBA and then expand into other fields

By his age, achieviements and status in the industry he has earned his respect.

Unless your sole mark of success is cross dressing, fruity ezra olubi who you can casually trade insults with in the office. His downfall was in part because he did not set any boundaries and refused to act like a person in his position
She literally works for the man.

Respect is earned through technical competence and the ability to build systems that actually work not by merging banks or playing corporate dress up.

The fact that he corrected a her for calling him by his name is the kind of power trip that makes me want to barf into my own mouth.

Ezra downfall was inevitable the second he decided to make his personal life a public spectacle. Elon musk, Sergey brin are good examples of competent founders, they don't care what you call them.

Will not blame the girl, I’ll blame those bingos who imported those white cooperate nonsense to our land.

Nearly all African traditions have been lost through European colonialism, missionary activity, and Western cultural influence. In our bid, to behave like the whites, we are now seen normalizing the whites’ first name culture even amongst our elders. Our young people dressing naked publicly as part of Western clothing and beauty standards indoctrination. Some are even actively hawking their bodies just to acquire hair attachments.

Colonial languages becoming dominant in administration and education, sometimes at the expense of our indigenous languages. Dating and marriages practices, religious beliefs, traditional medicine, architecture, food systems and to even African philosophy of communal responsibility, concepts expressed through ideas such as Ubuntu - the belief that one’s humanity is connected to that of others. These are all facing competition from increasingly individualistic economic and social values which the whiteman cultures promotes.

I no go just blame the girl at all.
I dare you to drop your phone and burn all item made from the west and move to the bushes where your ancestors once dwelled.

What do you guys think about this Lady and Tony Elumelu’s conversation considering there are organizations in Corporate Naija that mandate it for staff to address each other on first name basis irrespective of age or cadre gap.

/video/1?s=46
Calling someone by their first name isn’t an insult, it’s a sign of familiarity or at least basic social competence. But no, Elumelu needs to be worshipped like a goddamn kabiyesi.

But no, let’s all bow to Elumelu because he’s chairman of so called bank. Fuark that. If you want respect, earn it. Don’t demand it like a toddler who just discovered caprisun.

Spare me the melodrama. You think you’re the first person in history to carry familial responsibility? Get a grip son.

You’re weak. You complain about sacrifice but do nothing to change your situation. If you’re so burdened, grow a spine and stop whining like a child. The world doesn’t owe you gratitude for existing.

I hate to agree with you. Nigerian men are too difficult, uptight and egoistic. Listening to them dish out marital commandments makes my head ache and I genuinely wonder how their wives cope. Sex with them must be very scary.
Women in nigeria are so busy playing the victim that they’ve completely ignored the laws of supply and demand. If Nigerian men are too difficult, they’re responding to the fact that Nigerian women have turned marriage into a goddamn hostage situation.

You think Nigerian men are the problem? Have you ever met a Nigerian woman? The entitlement is off the charts. They want a provider, a protector and a damn therapist all rolled into one but God forbid you suggest they contribute anything beyond emotional labor. Women don't even like themselves It's why there are way too many abusive lesbo couples compared to hetro couples.

The real issue here is that Nigerian society has conditioned women to believe they’re entitled to a man’s resources while simultaneously demonizing him for having standards. It’s a lose lose scenario and the only people winning are the divorce lawyers.

But sure keep blaming the men.

Imagine being so intellectually bankrupt that you believe the only variable in a relationship is some monetary input.

I'd tell her to go find a VC if she's looking for a payout but based on this mumbo jumbo, she'd probably just try to pivot her ute into a subscription model. Pathetic.

The bride price culture has to die in an age of sexual liberalism and a struggling economy. It's something I've always kicked against for more than a decade.

Here is how it should be done:
- Does the groom have sense?
- Does the girl like him?
- Verify his source(s) of income

Both families plan the actual wedding ceremony. Anything else is fraud to me.
Maybe not marrying a nigerian woman in the first place.

Seun... It's weird you keep letting these xenophobes use your platform to promote their cause and taunt Nigerians. Is that how hungry you are for traffic that you can't even draw a boundary concerning things clearly undermining your country and it's people? This is shameful to say the least.

Them opening the threads is one thing, your people pushing it to frontpage is beyond shameful. They won't let you live in their country, but you give them frontpage on your Nigerian forum. Disgraceful.

Naaaah. I don’t think it was greed. This looks like a directive from a foreign drug agency to the NDLEA to take him out. NDLEA cannot be feigning ignorance about him and his operations. They KNEW of him and looked away. I believe an EU drug enforcement agency requested for his takedown.

Either that, or some other Nigeria-based drug Capone took him out ahead of his 50th birthday celebration that was planned
This is it. Interpol has been hunting the guy for years.

Women are like speculative assets. You can either buy high when they're heavily in demand (early 20s) and get caught holding the bag or buy low after they hit the wall, most speculative assets don't turn into legitimate investments so chances are you just bought the equivalent of a beanie baby. But who knows, maybe she's just going through her version of a bitcoin bear market and will return to all time highs and become the mother of your children.
Career › Re: How To Become A Pilot? by Kaczynski: 2:36am On Aug 16
Being a pilot is the opposite of comfy until you are nearing retirement. Scheduling is based off of seniority so the first few years has you flying short hops in commuter jets at weird hunkey hours and not being home for a week until you make captain, then you can switch to being a copilot on a bigger jet, where you go back to túrd scheduling until you make captain again on that airframe.

The only time pilots have actually cool schedules are the international guys because they hit their hour limits in one flight so they are forced to stay wherever they landed for a few days, which basically means a paid 3 day weekend in Tokyo or London then not working for 2 weeks.

You won't start off at an airline, you're going to be grinding at a flight school for several years flying Cessnas for 12 hours a day until the airlines feel like hiring (which is entirely random).

If you want to get a commercial license, most small flight schools will offer the program for it. It's not too different from getting a private license, its just the requirements are stricter and you need to jump through more hoops.

You can also go to part 141 school like Embry Riddle or ATP academy and go through that process which WILL cage your wallet and soul but it is by far the fastest way to become a commercial pilot. it takes like 8 months and about $100k for those people.

‎A shop for killers 2 has ended😭 I loved it as usual. God bless whatever is responsible for the coincidence of asfk2 and mbmb to be aired around the same time cos it's just so good seeing different versions of Kim Hye Jun. Last week, I totally understood pasin and his decisions/actions but omo watching woojin ahjussi get killed so early in the beginning of episode 7 broke me I'm like fu((k forgiveness! Pasin deserves to die and lmaoo I was happy he died🤣 I'm not loyal. I was right about the arms analogy being about pasin vs the other guys lol but the situation was not exactly as I thought sha. Funny enough I wasn't that pained about brothers death and back in season 1 I had once thought that if he died his death would be the most painful to me but I guess the shock of the way woojin ahjussi was killed sort of desensitized me and I felt nothing when brother died🤷‍♀️😭 the only thing I wasn't satisfied about was kunasagi Jin's death, I get that jeong Jian is the main character and she had a lot to get revenge for but I think q should have been the one to kill Jin. Jin used q's brother, got him killed and then used her grief and anger and deceived her to get Jin man. Q honestly should have been the one to kill her. All in all. Great drama, now that Jin man knows q's real name and Babylon is off his back, let's hope it will not take another 10 years for them to get that drink lol
‎
Just like how Kim Hye jun's 2 dramas are airing around the same time, I was happy ahn Bo Hyun had another jtbc drama that'll will be airing close to flex x cop 2 but lmaoo why did I just discover the drama is a sageuk. H for haigoo. I guess I'll just focus on his flex cop alone.

On a sad note Ahn pan seok ahjussi died of cancer yesterday. He was one of the really good directors in drama land leaving behind hits like something in the rain, one spring night and the art of negotiation. I'm a huge fan of his slow burn style of directing so this is really sad. His last work is the upcoming Kim so Hyun-choo young woo drama and I've been looking forward to it. Thankfully they had finished filming before he died. Here's hoping that the drama turns out to be really good. I'd hate for his last work to not be as good as his previous works. I pray it'll be a drama that can cement his legacy. May his soul rest in peace

*currently watching*: the apartment job, dream to you, the affair was just the beginning, my bias my boss, flex x cop, alone in love
