SportsRe: AFCON 2019: Who Are Your Top 3 Super Eagles Players So Far? by Kalaba(m): 11:29am On Jul 15, 2019
Arsenalholic:
1. Ndidi: The midfield general. This young man can play football for 10 hours straight and at the dying minutes still run a few metres to knock you off the ball and deny you a scoring chance.

He committed a stupid foul in the dying minutes of today's game that led to the goal. But we forgive him.

2. Ola Aina: He is everything a modern full back should be. The only reason Genot RORH benches him must be because he doesn't like his fullbacks to bomb forward; something Ola is adept at.

3. Chukwueze: He didn't get enough chances at this tournament, but this boy is going to shock the world soon. And I am extremely proud he is a super Eagle.
good analysis, but I think Ndidi's foul wasn't careless, in fact, that was the best thing to do and thank God he used his experience to do it before the guy gets into the box. Tho the free kick was converted, he offered the team a life line which the keeper failed to help out.
I have said it before, and will keep saying it, FRANCIS UZOHO remains the only confident hand the super eagles have for now. I believe the coach have another reason for not allowing him to play and not because he is not good.

I think NDIDI, ETEBO and AINA have done wonderfully well. others are: 1. WILFRED NDIDI 2. OGHENEKARO ETEBO 3. OLA AINA 4. ODION IGHALO 5. AHMED MUSA 6. SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE and 7. EKONG. the rest ...

eniorisha:
Those of u who passed thru sch WHR they use corporal punishment, who has ever received flogging with DT part part of d body. As far as I know, a teacher either beat your palms, fingers, back or your bum bum. How come DT part of her body, even mistakenlyhuh As we often see cane erroneously lands on pupil's face. Let's here from d sch b4 we condemn their action
Someone is not telling the truth here, either the girls family or the blogger reporting the story.
sleekysol:
I think something is wrong here. Did the teacher use stick to flog her did the teacher hit her on the legs hard to break a leg bone?. This story is just too cryptic. In any case flogging a student for not paying school fees is just demonic. Better send her out of the school premises
My thought too.

EducationRe: NASU Strike: University Of Abuja Hostel Looking So Dirty (Photos) by Kalaba(m): 5:30pm On May 09, 2018
I have not seen any school in Nigeria that takes strike serios the way Uniabuja does. Unibujites are already used to this, they do mobilise themselves to clean up the hostels, maybe its because of the exams that is making many reluctant about it. I can imagine what the water situation will be by now...
Its realy bad.
PoliticsRe: 2019 Elections: Who Would Be Your Choice For The PDP Presidential Flag Bearer? by Kalaba(m): 9:46am On Apr 28, 2018
TonyeBarcanista:
This shows you don't know anything about politics.

He's least popular yet he was begged by all organs of PDP to be the National Chairman to help unite the party and lead it to the right path even when he never showed a single interest.

He's not a strong candidate yet he defeated Hunkuyi backed by Buhari in 2003 Governorship and still defeated Buhari's backed ANPP and CPC candidates in Kaduna North Senate elections in 2007 and 2011 respectively despite the gang up by some members of PDP in Kaduna state.

If you don't know, Makarfi is the MOST respected leader in PDP as at today with strong and formidable structures within and outside the party in all six geopolitical zones.

Have you seen him running after "Wike and Fayose" like many people are doing? He has class... He has all his stuffs figured out!

BTW PDP loss in Kaduna state in 2015 was due to the animosity against JONATHAN, Yero and PDP as a brand... Unlike in some other states that was due to Buhari's wave (eg Katsina)
AHMED MOHAMED MAKARFI... That was the first politician name I knew as a child. Maybe cos I grew up in KD. I can't say how popular he is among the south westerners, but am sure Igbos LOVE him a lot. Though the hausa/fulani muslims here don't like him cos they see him as a 'repentant muslim' since during his governorship tenure as he was very fair in his administration.
For credibility sake, AHMED MOHAMED MAKARFI is the man. A Makaefi/Fasoye PDP ticket will do.
NYSCRe: Corpers Mull Protest In Kubwa Over Ban On Alcoholic Beverages At Mammy Market by Kalaba(m): 2:31pm On Apr 26, 2018
Idokojimmy:
There are reports that some corps members, particularly those from the southern part of the country, serving in Abuja Orientation Camp, Kubwa, may embark on protest any moment from now over alleged ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages at the Mammy market.

Some of the aggrieved corpers said the ban was enforced by the Camp Commandant and Coordinator.

currently, Corpers are restricted to Coke, Fanta and Malt.

Is this ideal? JOIN THE CONVERSATION.
YES @Op, it is ideal.
whatever that can impare normal reasoning (alcohol, hard drugs/substance) should be banned. It is a camp, not a place to live a carefree life.
NYSCRe: For Those That Are To Wait Till July Let Meet Here by Kalaba(m): 8:54am On Apr 21, 2018
MNDY:
My apologies. I crosschecked and saw that it is July that is stated for Orientation Course (Camp particularly) on the dashboard.

But do you or anybody else here know whether it is early, mid or late July pls? Let's not also rule out the fact that NYSC may shift the date back subsequently, it is usually meant to be 1month interval and not 2months. Their arrangements this year just get as e just be.

I was not actually well prepared to have gone with this first set of PCMs anyway; in my own opinion, they were rushed.
I just think the push to July is cos of the upcoming ramadan fast, Ramadan 2018 will begin on
Wednesday, 16th May 2018 and end
on Thursday, 14th June 2018. Eid ul
Fitr Date will be on Friday, 15th June
2018. This is the tentative date as the
actual date is contingent on the
sighting of the moon of Ramadan. So, let's just have in mind it's gona be that july, maybe early or mid.
