BAZ001: I emphasized "northern" because fellas here were giving her benefit of doubt as a northern lady. Now she has proven that scam has no religion or region. She was so calm and actually not so smart (did not know there was international and local airport). 3 Likes |

Kamikaze42: Good people, As envisaged, the northern lady has still not made the payment and has put me on a no receipt list on her phone as the calls do not even connect at all. She also is not responding on whatsapp any longer. It is way past 3 weeks since the ride and she did not oay my #4,900 despite how understanding I tried to be with her. Her number is as follow: 08064951485 Saratu Ibrahim Sanusi Kindly do justice. Thanks. 3 Likes |

jpworld: Hey Guys. Some experience with cash (transfer) trips. Rider said she transferred #1,200, I did not see alert. By the next day, I reported to Uber. Afterwards, the alert entered, however, Uber is asking her to still pay #1,200 before she can request a trip (perhaps they are yet to adjust the fare). Note that I updated Uber that the alert has been seen, she is saying what I did is not fair that I should have been patient for the alert. The same patience that has cost me #4,900 (I am giving this another rider 2 weeks before I release her number for embarrassment). She should also be patient for Uber to reverse the payment. Uber however is being diplomatic. I asked them directly what a driver should do if a rider requests for transfer payment, their response "Driver-partners are responsible for collecting the full fare for a cash trip immediately on arrival at the rider’s destination. Moreover, we highly value your feedback and we take what you're saying very seriously. As a growing company, we are constantly seeking ways to better enhance the Uber experience from both driver-partners and riders perspectives. We appreciate your understanding in this regard." |

omorkelly: Thanks very much. I also wish to give her benefit of doubt. She stopped receiving my calls and responding to my messages anyways. Her 2 weeks commenced since the trip day and I shall alert the house to do the needful after then. Thanks for your time. |

ksmart027: Sorry to go off topic. I am aware of the cons of receiving transfers from riders, however I am usually ok with transfers most of the time. I took this calm looking northern lady from Lagos Business School, she said she was going to the international airport so we moved. She had this cardigan with her, so I believed she was heading to US or somewhere cold. Upon dropping at the airport, she did a transfer from her Jaiz bank, she was debited but I did not get alert. I was about leaving (with the mind that I would get alert as I have not been duped before) someone knocked on my window, it was an airport official saying the lady was to go to MM1. I asked the lady where she was travelling to as she said Kano. So I took her to MM1 and collected 1k from her (800 after deducting toll). I raised the alert issue and she said we should be patient for the alert. I called her in the course of the day and she said she has done another one and has been debited again. By Monday, she said her account has been frozen and she has been having similar issues with people not receiving payments from her. She also said until her account is unfrozen before anything can be done. Now she is cutting my calls and must have blocked me on Whatsapp. I have her phone number and account details. I am not certain if she is a gentle fraud or just a slow poke who means no harm. The trip is #4,900 and I am in limbo for now as Uber said it is more than 3 working days already. 3 Likes |

peeps4u: Yes the car is mine. If I had my way, I would rather give the car to a driver and ensure I get to the office by 8 and back home by 6 so that it can keeop making money within 8 and 5 when I close. He can drive and then we share the money accordingly, but you know the rest. Story story would start immediately and I may regret, so I am kuku managing the free time. 5 Likes |

BAZ001: Thanks for the feedback. I do max of 2 trips (seldom 2, most times 1) in the morning as I resume 8 am. And I do max of 4 to 5 in the evening, sometimes just 1 or 2 sef, but I do longer rides on weekends and I got about 11k or more in bonuses. The 138k is before fuel o, after fuel, e fit no pass 80 or 90k. 1 Like |

My few experiences in my 1 month driving with only Uber. 1. I ride on my way to the office (Lekki to VI), going back home and then weekends. I have done 128 trips (Trips request: 303, Declined: 78, Cancelled: 16) 2. I am currently on 4.81 rating ( 5 Star: 65, 4 Star: 4, 3 Star: 1, 1 Star: 2 (No Nose Mask)) 3. Total net earnings: 130,524 (Including fuel) 4. Got a tip of $30 (#14,250) from a rider rushing to the international airport 5. Still struggling to get #4,900 from a woman I also took to the airport but with issues on bank transfer (Jaiz to Zenith) 6. Met different kinds of people, mostly normal. The rides are usually silent with only radio as I do not talk much. 7. I am already developing lower back pain and my odometer reading is just rising at astronomical rate. How would you rate my 1 month report? 15 Likes |

donfortune48: Uber said assisting the passenger open and close door, put and retrieve luggage from the trunk would make them give you 5 star. Na true? Also, seems most people here do not favor Uber and na only Uber I register, yet to start though. I want to be doing the riding after work and weekends alone. IS Uber alone ok? |

Hello Good People. I am trying to do Uber registration but it has been difficult. My documents keep being rejected and I am not sure why. Particularly my road worthiness for now. Although it is not the original, it is re-printed and it of course carries a Private Vehicle Tag. Could these be the reasons for the rejection. It is very frustrating. Please help a brother out. Thanks. |

Guess their mums and sisters got same but just spew thrash for ego. And lastly, if wayward lifestyles were the only cause for the so called saggy boobs, female masturbation enough would not do as much harm, it is the same set of disgruntled elements that squeezed and pressed daylight out of these same set of breasts they are here insulting. Humans are incomprehensible. Shame on you guys and get some dignity. |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Don’t Blame ‘wahhabism’ For Terrorism by Kamikaze42: 12:11pm On Oct 28, 2016 |
A very little knowledge of Islam from the right sources would help you clear your misconceptions about 'Wahabbism'. Wahabbism is just a name coined by academists to describe classical Islam ie the real Islam that has been forgotten and it had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism and violence seen today. Talking about Saudi Arabia being at the fore front of Terrorism via their Wahabbism ideology is also being ignorant and taking information from Western sources hook line and sinker. Learn Islam from Islamic scholars and not from Wikipedia. 4 Likes 1 Share |
