op, I like what you have done. Many of these men are chauvinists and the women have been enslaved to say because they have toto they MUST cook.

Men need to understand that, cooking is not written in a woman's dna. Being a woman does not mean you HAVE to love cooking. It's not by force. All the women insulting the op, you have been manwashed. tongue

brownlord: Well choose to ignore you, what more can one expect from a child that never taste the mean of his/her or her mother
Why bring mother in? huh

If you don't want women complaining about cooking. Then men should stop complaining about women chopping their money.

Personally, it's a silly question but you should not chastise her for it. It is not by force to cook for your man, op. If you don't want to cook for him for certain reasons then go find maid but as long as he's the one bringing home the dough and shid, you better make sure by 6am he has his breakfast in bed and the house cleaned. tongue

Haha, maybe the maid can also do the other duties for you. grin

ypzilanti: When your husband begins to find fulfiling his 'husbandly' duties stressfull too, dont complain.

Everyone should play their roles.

Besides, I usually find that women who are madly in love with their b/f or husband do not find this a chore. Abi you no love am?
Why should everyone play their roles when a man's 'role' should providing the money but you hear them complain about it every single day. Why should she not complain? She has a right to complain!

Oh, thank God, I am not the one to bring the thread back to life. tongue

Onila maybe he ran away because of the smell that came out of your mouth when you said "Africa"-Probably been eating fufu and ogbono or something. grin

On a more serious note, I have never come across a carribean or AA who ran away because I was African. In london, you are more likely to meet Carribeans than AAs. Carribeans-come across them every single day, got them following me like flies. They are not really bothered about you being African, as long as you fit their bill they don't care.

AAs, I won't say I come across them often but the ones I have met were quite nice and didn't not seem to be bothered by me being African either.
