Capernum: As per faithfulness... She's been faithful in all honesty, we share the same passwords. There's virtually nothing she does that I don't know.
I have tried to check and see if I need to work up some attitudes in me. I tend to be a perfectionist myself and I have mellowed down on most of my complaints. But it appears as if she's not willing to adjust.
She's not organized. Can drop anything anywhere... She's not clinical, doesn't tie up loose ends... Doesn't complete chores she starts to do. I do the tidying, meanwhile she sees these things as a right. Little or no appreciation. She barely say sorry too. You need to understand that you cannot have it all in one person as we all complement one another. It is also important to appreciate the difference between the two of you bcoz it's possible she's noticed some of your weaknesses/lapses but sees the need to appreciate your personality anyway. Marriage is hard work! |

Missluvydovy: Beautiful. Congrats. This should have been the first comment on this post.
Too much bitterness and bad energy on this site. Some comments here are so discouraging. The commenter you quoted failed to include that his blissful 5yrs of marriage is a result of hard work, compromise, tolerance, sacrifice and not just a walk in the park. |

nedekid: I am from Delta state. The earlier mentioned is igbo tradition I am aware of. Nothing funny here, the Adelekes are half igbos on their mothers side and must be conversant with such issues. Maybe we should have a look at what's obtainable in the Yoruba culture, tradition & customs as regards this particular situation - knowing fully well that the baby-daddy is a Yoruba man. |

nedekid: In igbo tradition, a man that has not paid a woman's bride price cannot claim ownership of a child. The child belongs to the ladies family. Adeleke's cannot handle the burial of little Ifeanyi as they are not seen as his folks, not unless the adelekes pay chioma bride price, which they have recently done. Lol you make it seem as if it's only you Igbos that have tradition and customs... very funny. |

Peter Obi is the candidate we sensible and detribalised Nigerians have chosen. He's the only one we can trust with our votes.
That man, Peter Obi, is wisdom personified! He's not your typical corrupt Nigerian politician like Tinubu.
So, Tinubu should better go and take care of his health. Lol ...ok |

CSTRR: A man that has installed his family in states businesses. A man whose jobless daughter bought a house for $2.5M in America with cash.
Nah.
There is no developmental politics in the world that comes with such a portfolio of crookery. Not in democracy, Communism, socialism, or capitalism.
There is no leader in recent World history to ever develop a country and came with tinubu's kind of history and reputation.
Its not possible. Corrupt Leaders don't build great Countries. Corruption is the number one impediment to a fair allocation of opportunities and resources.
And that is what differentiates the third world from the first world. Bad cannot produce good. We would just be wasting our time. Majority of our so called educated class cannot comprehend this. Majority of Nigerians are inherently stupid. |

eniwhy: With all your write up, I don't see anything wrong much but normal dispute in marriage. Remember that if you kick him out you don't know who you are getting to replace him. He might be more dangerous. It better to seek your pastor advice before you finally decide. In my opinion, I still believe the guy can change since it was him who told you about the pregnancy. Jovialjune1 is of the opinion that we should think positively. |

nkwuocha: I actually used preek because from her posts that's all the husband is offering.
All these you listed is alien to her marriage so why stay? As much as the husband is a pain, I'm struggling to understand how separation or divorce would make their lives better - considering the children's wellbeing. One thing parents routinely fail to realise is that children are also part of the marriage, therefore both should accept whatever comes with their decision to separate/divorce. You can't eat your cake and have it. |
