I have been observing one of my neighbor's movement, a boy. He has been sneaking in girls into their house to have sex. He is unemployed. On Saturday when his mom went out for elections, he decided to sneak in a girl. He didn't know when his mom came back and he was caught while trying to sneak the girl out. He ran away wearing a shirt and a boxer and returned in the evening.

I have been thinking how he has been able to get these girls, the motives, etc. Because obviously, he is not rich. this is not even a case of girlfriend-boyfriend relationship. It seems there is an app where one can get a girl near you for fornication.

Point: With technology in this century, even an introvert can get connected to someone to have premarital sex. Therefore, Virginity is never lack of opportunity. I believe virgins in this tech world have more self-control than virgins in 900 BC.

How do you cope?

I am a very strong supporter of given extra chores around the house and DOUBLING UP ON HOMEWORK. Unfortunately, places like Nigeria are not equipped with recreational activities and lack of surveillance equipment to monitor in and out of your home 24/7.
I got tired of beating and beating and beating. . . Absolutely NO EFFECT. In fact, I was the one that was suffering with the chances of having a stroke.

From ages 10 and above, children should not be spanked.

1. Children are prone to disobedient behaviors and are not fully developed cognitively to understand consequences of their actions.
Spanking children under 10 should be avoided and used only as a last resort for correcting bad behavior.

2. Children above 10 are naturally stubborn and will become immune to spanking having received spankings for the first 10 years of their lives.
They actually brace themselves for the spankings and damn the consequences.

3. Spanking should be stopped entirely when a child reaches teenage years. At this rebellious stage, you should be ready for WAR! Spanking is never the answer.

You constantly have to battle between trying to protect your young children and throwing in the towel. Many families have opted for sending their children to boarding schools or abroad to pass off the responsibilty to others to save the situation.
