I witnessed something that is rather pathetic and saddening. I was at Daar Awards Ceremony in Sheraton, Abuja some years back. The former vice president was in attendance and was asked to present an award to a Muslim cleric that saved over 200 christians from been attacked in Barakin Ladi Jos, but to my greatest surprise the man declined. Atiku Abubakar has a lot of explaining to do for the general public.
Was he not happy that the cleric saved Christians? This is the question I keep pondering on.
