He should say the truth or stick to his what he said at the interview/form. He might just be stamped in for just two weeks, its very possible. purplecircle: Hi, firstly just state what you filled on your form. Dont let anyone put you in trouble. If your form says 2 weks say it . Only go further if you are asked. Afterall you mostly will be stamped in for 6 months. Because my reasoning is you stating 4 weeks oppose to ve filled 2 weeks is a GREAT RED FLAG. Anywaz whichever works for you. |

Re-apply again. With your husband and the kid you want to travel with. This time give a strong reason, why you are only going with that kid. If you get rejected again, go somewhere else. You are free to re-apply at any time. nikkycool: Thanks for the analysis. But seriously we are done with having kids and actually we have four.Pregnancy is faaaaar from it,just wanted to spend our holiday together.Changes is what is confusing me,if only two of us apply will that mean changes?or if all of us apply against December vacation if that will mean changes.Kindly advice. |

I always begin with these questions: 1. Have you applied before, as a single or a couple? 2. Have you used an agent before? Now lets look at what the VO is probably reasoning: 1. You have four kids, but travelling with only one; can you really afford this trip? 2. The answer to the question, why are you travelling with only one, is quite weak - but the truth is the truth. Although, I would have said, "I just weaned the baby and I can't leave him/her alone, but the other three are old enough and are being taken care of". 3. You are probably pregnant and going to the US to give birth, and trying to increase your chances by applying with your husband and kid (to cover up that you are going to give birth). These are just my opinions, I will advise you to try other places other than the US for now. If you come back and nothing has changed since you last applied, you may get the same result. And please DO NOT REAPPLY AND SAY YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE BIRTH, THAT WILL JUST CONFIRM THE SUSPICIONS OF THE VO, IF THAT WAS THE CASE. nikkycool: Please how soon can I reapply for Visit visa as I was denied on 28 of August with hubby.I really want to spend my leave days outside Nigeria.Kindly advise.Transcript for that day.VO Good morning Me and Hubby Good morning VO-How many kids do you have Me 4Kids VO-So why going with only one?Me-Cos she's the youngest 1+ and others will resume school when we want to travel.VO-To hubby you are an Estate Surveyor?Hubby said yes and you've been to Hajj he said yes again.VO to me What do you do,I mentioned my job and where I work.VO..How long do you want to stay?Me said 14days and she said when are you traveling?I said 21st cos we intended using the period to attend wedding in Houston and she brought out the unwanted paper.Note we filled 19 as departure date but the starting date of my leave was what came out of my mouth.I want to believe its the date that made her deny us but suggestions are welcomed. All the same learnt our lesson and plan to re apply. Thanks |

The correct Visa category (and the form you will fill) is dependent on what you want to do in the US. = For vacation, check through this forum. - For medicals, check through this forum. - For legal migration, check the immigration forum. - For schooling, check through the US Students visa forum. All the best. Pkingssupplier: Good Afternoon . All Member of this Group . I'm Aderoju By name from Ogun State . I own's a Small scale Business . Basically into Supply Chain . 1. You will need an Immigration Visa not a Non-Immigration visa. 2. Since you wish to be sincere, which is good, you also need to apply for the proper visa category i.e. an Immigration Visa. 3. How did that person you are going to stay with, enter the US?# Strongtech: Good afternoon beautiful people and happy new month,
I discovered this thread last week and have been able to go through few ages. I have the intention of going to the USA next year God willing, though have not started anything yet on it but want to research and find out about somethings that will be helping. I intend using an agent to help me get my visa (work), meanwhile I have decided to provide every info correctly when filling the form due to somethings I have learnt on this thread for the past few days. I will be sincere, I want to go there and start a new life. I have someone over there I can stay with pending the time I will equip my self. my question now is, can this work out or what better ways do you suggest I can go about this?
Thanks |

1. You are a graduate. Are you working?. 2. Your cousin in the US, how did he enter the US? 3. You "own an on-line clothing store", that can be run from anywhere in the world. So you really don't have to be in Nigeria to run it. 4. I am not a VO, but your ties to Nigeria is non-existent. You have nothing that will bring you back to Nigeria. johnpoko: Good day house, please I just graduated from the university and my cousin in the US is inviting for his wedding. the wedding will take place on 4th November. When should I apply or book an appointment? please I'm using a virgin passport. can you all tell me the necessary documents I need? I have a business here in Naija, I own an online clothing store. please I need an urgent response |

Something about this transcript, doesn't sit well. ifeoluwasegun: Hello everyone,
Please I have a question to ask, an uncle applied and was denied B1/B2 on Monday.
The transcript as he said goes:
VO: Where are you visiting in the US
Uncle: Roswell, Georgia
VO: Who are you visiting there?
Uncle: My Sister (She's actually a Cousin)
VO: When has she been in the US
Uncle: Since 23 years ago
VO: Does she has a green passport?
Uncle: Yes
VO: Do you have it here?
Uncle: No
VO: I'm sorry blah blah blah...
That was how he narrated the transcript, so I wanna ask what the VO meant as the green passport for the American resident and how can my uncle the applicant have it here in Nigeria.
Thank you... LadyG, seyewest, justwise, etc. |

1. www.google.com is a good website to check. 2. it doesn't matter what questions that are asked, you are expected to provide honest answers at all times. 3. The VO has stated here that changes to what was filled and/or declared at the interview, will attract greater scrutiny. - So why are you not going to New York, and you are going to dallas instead? - Why is your husband not accompanying you? these are some questions, you night be asked. I just thought of dropping this here. If you must book your tickets via a travel agent, please let them use your card or you go to the airline office/bank or you do it online. So that you don't fall into the 'stolen credit card' issue. |

Yeah. But then unless you are retired, a pregnant woman, or in the US for medical reasons; what will you be doing in the US for 6 months... manifest: It's not a plan to see what people will do. Don't over think it. Unless stated otherwise, you have the privilege of remaining in the US for up to 6 months. Anything longer is a possible breach of visa terms. |

Yes they do. But you will need to apply for a visa to leave the airport, contact the airline for that. Also be careful, they may have a stop in a country that you may need a transit visa in, for example, Canada. So make sure before booking. Their flights are good. ayabemm16: Pls has anyone used ethiopian air to newark NJ and how was the flight . Also do dey provide accommodation for long layovers |
