Was supposed to accompany my aunt who's having a laser eye surgery at Pennsylvania.

Then he started typing almost for 5 mins and checking every page over and over

And I heard the sorry message and got a blue sheet.
My AUNTY has her visa already and we were supposed t travel next week. Now she has no one to accompany her which is a big problem for her as she's having a surgery.
I was told the V.O should have called the doctor for verification... But none of that was done
I feel sad cos when I called my aunt she was almost crying and confused about what to do

The US is not safe for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS any-more. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS are welcomed to the US. If this was the case as you claimed, this forum will have dried up and the large crowds outside the US Embassy would have dwindled. Whatever the case, you are expected to be honest. If you received a rejection letter, you were rejected, even if you withdrew your application. If you are asked to explain why, you can now mention that you withdrew your application. But if you have been denied, tick the appropriate box.

I want to askIf someone should withdraw his application and pull out his passport and one is filling for another application, in the column to tick yes or no if one have been refused visa before for any country, will someone fill a yes or no?, people in the house pls enlighten me.
Another thing was that I noticed there was a refusal letter when I withdrew my application but they didn't tick the column for the reasons for refusal as they normally do when someone is refused? I just want to be cleared about this because I withdrew my application before the processing times was completed and I dont think there shld be any reason why it should be termed a refusal

If possible, go through Abuja; maybe because its the capital, they don't do all that nonsense, only disadvantage is that international carriers are less in Abuja than in Lagos.

No one knows the VO's mind. But if I was one, I would probably think he's lying unless he says it was out of wedlock. The interviews are short and fast, with a lot of applicants. As you can see the VO didn't ask him a follow-up question about that discrepancy.

No, its not necessarily an issue, so long as you have provided alternative care for her, although the VO would be thinking about what sort of parents you are, leaving your 2 year old kid for a 10 day holiday to the US (or if you can actually afford it). This is where you have to convince the VO that the kid's welfare has been sorted out, below are some questions to help you out.

1. Have you made plans for who will take care of your kid for 10 days? if yes, mention this to the VO, if asked.
2. Why is your kid not travelling with you? be honest and tell the VO the reason. Hint: you can make the answer romantic.

If your circumstances hasn't changed since your last application, you will still be refused. You don't know why you were refused, do you? just input what was written in the letter - 214b

Which is the best answer to give, is the TOURIST CENTER ADDRESS in the Ds-160 form or the HOTEL ADDRESS in the ds-160 ?
And also is there any difference answer for this two or they are the same question?

Don't reply him. He can get his answers somewhere else. If it was the VO that replied him, he will be saying 'thank you sir.'

I was just denied a tourist visa this morning. The transcript goes thus:

Again, if the conference isn't relevant to your field or job, its a red flag. Even in government delegation to the UN in New York, applicants are interviewed individually. Only families are interviewed as a group, but then each applicant has to qualify based on individual merit.

i applied for b1/b2 last year july(did d application process myself):my firm wanted to send me for training in the US,but was denied:The VO ask a question then "why were you chosen?" i told her my job(business development manager) is strategic to the growth of my company hence the need for capacity development but was issued a blue paper
fast forward to last week my director called me into his office and inform me he wanted me to reapply this month but in my mind the denial experience ring in my head like a bell,i told him to give me some time to think about it.

People have gotten visa's without travelling out of Nigeria. Going to Ghana two days before your interview ?! That does not make sense. You have a job with 500k as income, I think that's good enough! Be honest and be confident, that's all good.

The fact that you need money to your account, is a good pointer to a rejection, suspicious inflows must be explained with evidence, and this is done to avoid the 'crime' of money lodgement.

THE FACT THAT YOU WISH TO OBTAIN A US VISA, BY 'LINKING UP' WITH A GROUP, IS A VERY GOOD INDICATOR AS TO WHY, YOU WERE REFUSED 3/4 TIMES.
I DON'T THINK THEY STILL DO GROUP INTERVIEWS, OUTSIDE OF FAMILY INTERVIEWS.
IF YOU HAVE NO STRONG TIES TO NIGERIA, YOU WILL NOT GET A VISA. BUT THEN THAT'S AT THE DISCRETION OF THE VO.

The Abuja VO said that once you arrive at a POE different from the one you filled, it will invite greater scrutiny. But I think, you won't have an issue if you said you were going to Orlando for vacation but now you wish to go to New York for vacation.

2. YOU PROBABLY SHOULD GET A FLIGHT WITH A LONGER LAYOVER, IN-CASE YOU ARE DELAYED AT CBP OR IF THE TERMINAL IS LOCATED AT ANOTHER SIDE OF THE AIRPORT OR BOTH SCENARIOS.
3. IF YOU MISS YOUR FLIGHT DUE TO CBP, YOU ARE QUALIFIED FOR THE NEXT FLIGHT FREE APART FROM THE CHARGES YOU WOULD HAVE PAID FOR THE FLIGHT, CHECK TO CONFIRM THIS THOUGH.
