It still does not change the fact that you are breaking the law, and it will eventually catch up with you, why don't you do it legally and have peace of mind. You guys give Nigerians, a bad image. I am not going to debate with people who support illegality either. Have some dignity. SirWahl1: Please educate him some more. I dont want to debate this issues here, but know that Africans and mexicans who are largely illegal Immigrants drive the American labour sector. The earn good and even live a better life than the lazy average Americans. They will still have a better life than a middle level banker in Nigeria. Enough said |

There are no undocumented immigrants, only illegal aliens, immigrants are those who have legally and lawfully migrated to the US. I will also end it here, my charge and bail legal luminary. FrontPageLawyer: You're still VERY wrong. The documents required to open a bank account is your Primary, Secondary IDs and Address. Your visa is not checked. Even the Police has no business with immigration matters.
So many undocumented immigrants are better than the lazy U.S citizens because their primary goal is to work and make money. You can go about your business for 20years and nobody will question your immigration status. I'll stop here, go do your findings. |

Okay maybe I didn't define the terms, my mistake: 1. I am not referring to persons who have not overstayed his/her visa. For example, a tourist or a mother that came to give birth etc 2. I am taking the assumption that the person has overstayed his visa. For example, people who come on B1/B2 and stay back. 3. Outside of 'sanctuary cities', an illegal immigrant who is caught is subject to deportation by I.C.E for example, Texas etc. 4. All you said is true, for persons who are not illegal immigrants, or persons who make their way to 'sanctuary cities' where they are in direct contravention of US Immigration law as passed at the federal level. For example, San Francisco is a sanctuary city and protects illegal immigrants. 5. Considering the fact that the US keeps database, an illegal immigrant would be weary of using any services that requires background checks. FrontPageLawyer: Easy Tiger!! It's apparent you know nothing about the U.S or life in the U.S.
It's a public forum so I won't want to debate on this subject, but just to let you know;
With a non-immigrant visa, you can open bank accounts in all 50 states. You ONLY need two IDs; Primary ID ( International Passport), secondary ID (Drivers licence or ATM card) and $25.00 minimum deposit. Once the account is opened, you'll be given a temporary Debit Card valid for 30 Days, while the permanent Card is mailed to your address in about 3-5 working days.
Also, a handful of U.S. states issue drivers licence to undocumented immigrants who live there. Note that this does not confer any form of legal status; it merely says you are allowed to drive a car in that state.
With BOSS Revolution of $10. You can call anywhere in the world for more than 40 minutes. So what are you talking about? |

Okay. Get a summarised explanation of what the conference is about (from the conference website). Then think about how it will affect your career and/or your organization. Assume the VO does not know about it, so be prepared to explain certain terms. I would recommend reapplying, but when, is up to you. daveplaza: I was trying to be real. Meanwhile the introductory analyser seminar. The well analyser is line of field. My thinking is that I was earlier fir the interview, because the seminar will be coming up by 1st&2nd DEC What do you think? |
Travel › Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by KaptainAfrika: 8:06pm On Jul 06, 2017 |
I concur, its just that they have so many interviewees and limited time, so you really have to be quick and precise. FRSA: The point here is that the US interview can be tricky because the VO is trained to spot if one is saying the truth or not. Oftentimes, they expect you to react to the questions posed to you in a professional manner. Like when you are asked where do you work, don't just say am a reporter with Punch Newspaper but continue by saying your duties until the VO cuts in to stop you.
Also when you are asked about the conference you are attending, tell the VO a brief about the conference while emphasizing it from the organizers point of view. A reaction like " According to the organizers, the event will explore innovative and collaborative measures towards solving the menance of bla bla bla.
Don't also forget to make the VO understand how the conference will add to your career and professional development back home. Even if he/she doesn't ask this, there are ways you can use to insert this.
Owing to limited time, try to be concise and drive home your points as quick as possible. Goodluck! |

Think about this. - you get to the US and overstay and do jobs - illegally, your employers know this and will take advantage of you, imagine doing some gay stuff just for your boss to not tell the I.C.E about you. - everyday you wake up, not knowing if this is the day, you will be caught, your BP increases when you see a police car. - you can't open a bank account, you can't save - you can't contact your family back home - DONALD TRUMP IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE US - you can't come back to Nigeria for anything, once you leave the US, you can't come back - Basically you are screwed - Alternatively, you can just kill yourself, since Nigeria is not working and the prospects in the US is dim especially for a person like you, who wants to be an illegal immigrant. Zilifish: Pls once i get the US visa. What jobs can I do without legal papers. I want to give this a trial cos naija is not working out. |

Okay bye bye na. If you got the visa, would you have written all this long epistles. Its painful not to be successful in a venture, but it shows maturity in the way you handle it. You can't win all the time, you lose, you learn, you try again. Okay? Please stop all this rudeness crap, some of us learnt from the most rude and wicked lecturers in school, did we get up and leave school because we didn't like the way our teachers taught us. You know what's ironic? A VO on this platform will insult you (indirectly) and you will say thank you, but when a fellow Nigerian says something you don't like, you begin to talk rudeness. ------------------------------> \____________ fpeter: As much as this page is very helpful and enlightening i must say that a lot of 'advisers' here are very rude and unnecessarily so. If you must contribute to a matter please read and ask questions before jumping into conclusions. I read a lot of so called "advice" here that were downright rude and uncalled for. If you have chosen to help people then stick with that otherwise don't garnish your so called advice with thinly veiled insults. Not getting a visa today doesn't mean a ban or the end of the world so please stop using derogatory terms on people you know nothing about. |

They no longer make a distinction, that is why the visa you get for conference, can later on be used for vacation, medicals etc. Stanleych007: Pls I have a very short and important question, I would appreciate a response from LadyG most especially.. Crime › Re: Badoo Members Sell Handkerchiefs Used To Clean Victims Blood For N500K by KaptainAfrika: 12:40pm On Jul 03, 2017 |
SOURCE: http://www.blackberrybabes.comGood Lord! when you have a nation where there are no proper investigative journalism, you are left with junk! bbbabes: No less than 100 suspected members of the dreaded Badoo Boys cult were arrested weekend, during a joint raid on the group’s hideouts by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of Lagos State Police Command, Anti-Robbery operatives, members of the Oodua peoples Congress, OPC, and members of vigilante groups in Ikorodu.
Members of the cult had laid siege to Ikorodu and environs, unleashing an orgy of killings, during which they used heavy stones to crush the skulls of their victims.
Reliable Police sources yesterday, quoted a suspected member of the dreaded Badoo cult group as saying that each ritual handkerchief used to clean victims’ blood after operation was sold for N500,000 to herbalists and some prominent Nigerians for money rituals.
Sources told newsmen that some of the suspects confessed to be mere errand boys, adding that their use of grinding stones in killing victims was to ensure efficacy of the money rituals.
At the last count, over 30 persons, among them, family members, including toddlers, have had life snuffed out of them by the dreaded Badoo boys.
Their modus operandi included storming victims’ residences while they are asleep. It is suspected that they usually hypnotized their victims, as none of them, except during last week’s operation at Odogunyan, had ever been conscious of their presence.
They would, thereafter, smash victims’ heads with a grinding stone and use a handkerchief to clean the blood and brain before leaving the scene. They usually left without taking any valuables.

1. This is the problem. The CBP officer would want to see proof that you have made full or part payments for your studies and you expect him to let you in, because "It's only respectful I humbly see her than just make demands from a distance". 2. The thing that will get you in trouble is having to explain why your aunt, wants you in the US before paying your fees, are you sure she is not setting you up, to be deported? does she really want to sponsor you? 3. C'mon think about it, does this make any sense to you, making a requirement that will be hard to defend at the CBP stand, she should make part payments before you get to the US or YOU WILL BE DEPORTED, do you wish to take that risk? 4. Okay, lets say the CBP officer buys your story and lets you in, and then your aunt says, she can't sponsor you due to unforeseen circumstances, then what happens? you will be doing what in the US... If you still decide to go to the US, please do us a courtesy and let us know how it went. Zeng: My school only requires I pay my fees after my visa is approved, but before arriving at the school. I have only previously paid for the application. Don't know why you say it makes no sense.
What makes no sense to me is waiting till last minute to rush everything without even having seen the person who has promised to sponsor me face to face. It's only respectful I humbly see her than just make demands from a distance. |

Sorry and this is my opinion. Tell your sponsor to pay your fees (and the medical insurance later) before you get to the US, because this makes no sense at all. Okay imagine this: CBP: Have you made any payments towards your education? YOU: No sir, my sponsor says I have to be in the US before she pays my school fees and the medical insurance, required before resumption. But wait, how did you get a student visa, without evidence of making any payments for school Zeng: Please, maybe I need to clarify.
I am going to her place first because she will be paying my fees and purchasing medical insurance for me before I arrive at the school. The school requires I pay my fees before I arrive, but she wants to pay only after I'm in the US. |

I advise you go a week before your resumption, it will be more safer but much more safer is arriving a day before your school resumption. Zeng: Hi everyone. I am travelling next month on a student visa. Its within the earliest arrival date on my I-20 and just a day after my visa becomes valid but almost a month before my school orientation.
The school is in California but I booked a ticket to Houston because my sponsor lives there and I will be at her place till its close to my orientation date.
Is there a chance that I might have problems at POE since the address of residence I chose was the school but I will first be going to her place?
