dre11: That’s the power of chronic tribalism we’re talking about. The type that deprived Nigeria’s Sponge Bob of common sense, despite his Nobel Laureate status and educational achievements. It’s the same genetic __________ , working in Seun, WriterNG, CoronavirusPro etc. See Miriam Webster’s definition for disorder; the illus at disorder. |

MSN1: Can’t forget an old saying that says “A deal is struck over a bottle of beer.” Another says “Great minds discuss ideas, littles minds discuss people”. I think it’s about the kind of people you hang out with, but hey, everyone gossips. The question is, with who? Spouses gossip, close friends do too. We all talk about people. Musicians, colleagues, bosses.., come on. It’s natural. For me it’s having a consciousness that whatever discussion about anyone you have, make it constructive. That’s it. 1 Like |

KwuoteYourFada: …this is it. That aura that make you toxic in someone else’s space. That aura that rubbishes meaningful coexistence because you create the impression that you have a more superior culture and DNA than other tribes. That’s the problem. It’s so sad that the average Nigerian isn’t a nationalist. Just a pathetic tribalist. 1 Like |

Goodvibes007: In as much as I detest Reno’s dance steps, this is a bitter truth. Here’s another bitter one. There are three major tribes in Nigeria, referred to as the majority. These unfortunately, have the most tribally biased mindsets in the country. One would have been the best option amongst the three, in terms of accepting other tribes in sincerity without showing signs of superiority, if not for her affinity with disturbing religious inclinations, which has created huge political setbacks over the years. |

No sign or evidences put forth whatever to even know if this actually happened or the teenager is just trying to trend like his role models which you guys also adore. Before you make them go begin beat up person pikin wey no do nothing. If na Davido small cousin or nephew, you for give this a different topic. Unless you’re trying to publicize DSVA, no issue. CJStarz: This isn’t emotional, it’s being factual and human. If the Nigerian government could change democracy day from May 29 to June 12, claiming its in honor of a person killed in his democratic quest, (even though we know, the FG did it to appeal to certain ethnic group for political reasons), then there is no excuse for downplaying the significance of NDDC, as regards what it symbolizes to the Niger Deltans- a compensation for a painful past of struggle and under development, despite being the milk bank of the nation’s treasury. NDDC was created for the development of that region who shared common goals and struggles. Let’s call a spade it’s name. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Process To Designate Anambra As NDDC Oil-Producing State Begins At Senate by Karnice600: 4:45am On Nov 28, 2023 |
CJStarz: What fucking insight is he giving? Nigeria is cursed with tribal bias, greed and myopia. The same ugly trend that followed Hilda Bacci on the GWR, where a certain Chef Dammy showed up, that’s the same trend we see in politics and top echelons of the country. What has Anambra got to do with NDDC? By definition of Niger Delta Anambra, Imo, even Ondo states are off the list. Now get this clear, I’m not talking about oil production here, I’m talking about Niger Delta by definition, by virtue of geographical features and proximity (see picture below). Now it’s no coincidence that these original NDDC States happen, not only to to be significant oil producing states, but have also suffered the negative effects and hazards that these has caused their environments due to political exploitations and negligence. These states have paid the highest prices with their Human Resources in the struggle for having adequate compensation for what they give out to the nation. Think of Ken Saro Wiwa. Think of the Onshore offshore dichotomy that was a very tight rope that would have claimed Victor Attah’s life. Think of the Ogoni people’s fight and miseries. These are sacrifices and struggles that eventually gave NDDC its shape and form. Why do you think we have boys in the creeks today? Do you Think Niger Delta militants came up to fight Fulani herdsmen like Amotekun was created? Or you think they were formed to destroy bottles of beer like the hisbah police up north? Or you think these guys appeared just like IPOB or ESN to form their own country? No. These guys fought for resource control. They are are still doing so, until it becomes absolute. Now it’s looking juicy, and every other state think, being in NDDC is just by having crude or traces of it. This Nigerian greed is appalling. It must not be NDDC, create something else. NDDC is more than oil, it’s a struggle and a voice. People paid with their blood and lands to have that up and running today. This was how Buhari wasted resources drilling for oil up north. That greed and toxic covetous mindset is eating up whatever is left of Nigeria. One minute you see a Hilda Bacci with authentic motives, driven by inspiration and sincere sacrifice to achieve a goal, the next minute you see an envious Chef Dammy, motivated by prejudice and covetousness to counter Hilda or share her glory. Everyone wants to identify with milk and honey. They all want to put their feet where the money is , not minding whose sweat or blood paid for it. It’s so disgusting for a country. Rubbish. 1 Like

I think your definition and idea of marriage needs a fix. You most likely married who never loved you at first. …and lastly please stop talking about how you raised her up from the mud. It’s a huge turn off. That’s what boys do. It’s disgusting. |
