@Kateskitty, congrats and more grace to you.
Pls does it mean NOUN graduates don't go for NYSC?.....Just asking. Tnx
Last I heard, they are still working on it but NYSC is supposed to give you one year post degree experience.
Which I already have, so I decided to collect an exemption letter instead

First I want to thank God for my new job, I just can't thank you enough.
Now, this is my story.
I lost my parents when I was still in secondary school and because of that, I had no one to sponsor me through university. Except for one uncle of mine who took me in and promised to sponsor my university education. I'm not going to speak ill of my uncle because he's late now (God rest his soul) but also because he taught me everything I know about computers today.

My uncle instead of enrolling me in the university like he promised, chose to put me to work in his cyber cafe business center. I worked there for years until I realized my uncle was never going to fulfill his promise, so I saved up and enrolled myself in NOUN without his knowledge.

Fast forward four years later, I finished my program from NOUN last year. But in between those four-years where one of the toughest period of my life because,
1. my uncle passed away during that period
2. his cyber cafe business closed down because his children ran the place to the ground.
3. I was now a student but unemployed

So with the skills I had working in my uncle's cyber cafe I managed to get another job (for 12,000 back in 2014).

Now, last year just 2 months after I said goodbye to NOUN I got a job (for 30,000). While now working as a graduate, I built some more job experience and acquired 2 certificates on Android app development and Web development. I did this job for 10 months, every night I would search Linkedin, Nairaland, Jobberman and other job sites for better opportunities until this April.

One of my application clicked and I was invited for an interview. I later made it to the second stage and finally was made an offer (150,000). I can't thank God enough for seeing me through it all, I'm almost in tears.

Another funny thing about my life is that I have a couple of well-placed uncles I could run to who could put me in a better position than the one I got but I preferred not to because I believe my God and I are a team.
I look at my new job and I'm amazed that my tithe now is going to be more than my entire salary back in 2014, what can I say...

First of all what does the Bible say about a man and a woman who are married.

Ephesians 5:22-33
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, ...

Matthew 19:6
So they are no longer two but one flesh.

During the dollar scarcity, it became difficult to make payment for foreign hosting. If you were caught in that situation, your site could go down for the duration of the foreign exchange crisis.
I've now learned to use local hosting so just to avoid scenarios like that

Missionaries who were the first Christians to visit Nigeria so why was he trying to make it look like Catholics are not Christians

No it's not a crime to smoke a cigarette but it's a crime to smoke that particular cigar because that cigar looks like yam, making it look like he will eat all our yam grin
Or in this case should I say smoke all our yam grin

A baby is not qualified for baptism whether you want to believe it or not. Jesus Christ was baptized as a man. And never baptized any baby. The apostles never baptized any baby. .....Baptism is the begin of your Christian journey ....you need to accept Christ for yourself and not by proxy.

Every building requires a foundation. You need a personal conviction of what you are about to do before you do it ........you walk into a river or pool with your legs and be baptized. ...... the Bible says unless a man be born , in this context , it is so wing about maturity.

Ok young man, I read at the bold and believe me, baptizing a child seems to be a NO NO from your personal perspective.
Now I'm not trying to convince you but look at it from another perspective.

Have you seen very, I mean very rich parents who open bank accounts or buy properties in their children's name?
If you haven't, I have seen lots of rich parents open bank accounts for children as old as 2years.
If a parent can open an account for a child who doesn't know what money is but just to give that child a sense of security for the future in case something bad happen to the parents, don't you think one of the best things a parent can give a child is Jesus by getting him or her baptized. Just in case something bad happen to the child, his soul will not be lost.

If you think opening a bank account for a child is OK, then who are you to deny the child Jesus through baptism.

But why dem no dey practice am ......Peter spoke in tongue but your pope no sabi tongue unless his mother tongue ,why?
Why una dey conduct infant baptism even when Jesus baptized at old and mature age?
Since when did speaking in tongues become a criteria to make heaven
Bro please, I believe in speaking in tongues but I also believe it is a gift which only the Holy Spirit can give in the right circumstance. It's not cool to go about speaking gibberish and say you are speaking in tongues
With the issue of infant baptism, we believe Christ as God made man knew when he was going to die but if you have a child today, there's no guarantee that child will live long enough before he becomes old enough to decide if he wants to be baptized.
So the natural thing a loving parent will do is to make the decision for them.

Miracles and signs? If God decides to show you His awesome power, He will not ask you whether you are interested or not. By the way, you are sorrounded by signs and wonders everyday. Look around you and consider how the heaven and earth were set. The faithful sun rising in the East every morning and setting in the West every evening. You don't need to see someone fall in the church and twist on the floor to witness a miracle. May the peace of Christ Jesus be with you.
And also with you.
