After my undergraduate I got my first job and was earning ₦30,000 per month. It was a shitty pay for someone with my numerous skills but I did it anyway until I got another job, and another one with a salary close to 4 times that of my first job.

I scrimped and saved until I could afford to go for my masters.
But to God be the glory, just started a new job this week with a salary of 30,000 only this time it's in £££.

It can only be God.

After fvcking him and getting pregnant you are here saying rubbish. no you shouldn't have married him, being a single unwed mother will be better.

you are acting like you did him a favour because he was poor and you married him, Nigerians always celebrating stupid things

I don't know why girls always make it seem like they are doing a poor guy a favour when they agree to marry him.
Just look at what this one is saying
So in your mind you have made sense
I just hope you are married yourself otherwise I wonder who is the one saying rubbish in this your narration

The name is not the problem, it's the agenda.
Changing name wouldn't solve anything

Just look at NEPA now PHCN, different name same services

Romance / Dating In The Office (Yea Or Nay ) by kateskitty(f): 11:51am On Aug 10, 2017
So the company I work for just hired a new accountant. He's not bad in terms of looks, dresses decently and has kind eyes. wink
So our friendship has gone a bit beyond the office and I'm just wondering if there could be something there worth exploring.
We've got lots in common and enjoy being around each other. We don't work together and sometimes we may not see each other in a whole day even though we work in the same company.
My company has more women than men so I need to act fast before someone else claims him wink

But I've heard too many times that office romance does not usually work out but I believe there could be exceptions.

So Yea or Nay will you date a coworker grin
Career / Re: Should I Stop Work And Do A Masters Programme? by kateskitty(f): 9:33am On Jul 16, 2017
rien05:
Hello House,

Kindly advise me on which way to follow. I currently earn 150k per month and I am thinking of enrolling for an MBA in Unilag. My headache is I will have to pick the full time option because it is cheaper and has better lecture hours, which means I have to stop work. Classes are from 9am-2pm weekly. The fee is about 200k.
I am skeptical about the part time option because its classes are during the evenings from 4pm to 8pm. I live and work on the island(Ajah) and close by 5pm. My boss won't allow me close by 3pm. He might agree to close at 4pm but even if he agrees to 3pm, there's no way I will get to Unilag before 5:30pm(on a no traffic day) by public transport. And lets say I finish lectures by 8pm, with the traffic and all I might be getting home by 11pm or so(dangerous for a girl). And it will so tell on me because the stress will be too much.(I am already a Lekpa I don't want to disappear). The koko again is that the fees for part time is about 500k.(I just started earning 150k ooh shocked and also ponzi finish my money at the beginning of the year. GREED. don't blame me ohh, many people fell victim with me).
The last option is the Executive MBA. Classes are on saturdays from 8pm to 4pm. The fee is about 2Million. I won't even go there.
If I say I should do another Masters course it will have to be a science course which are all full time.

My question is should I take the risk to forfeit my job and do my MBA? The forms are out. I want to prepare my mind before buying the form(N22,500). I really want an upgrade to my certificate. I also need money to keep me going because there is no one to lean on. Everybody is forming OYO. And I also don't want to regret embracing an opportunity now that I have money for fees. No one knows tomorrow. Please advise oooohhhhhh mbok

If you can save half of your salary for one year, this will give you about 750K which you can use to start a business and gradually start to become an entrepreneur.
If you do MBA you will still be at the mercy of other entrepreneurs for job.
Try to break free from the job mentality and strive to be your own boss.

Romance / A Friend Just broke up with Her Fiance by kateskitty(f): 8:35pm On Jun 03, 2017
So my friend just called to tell me this bad news.

She's been dating this guy for over a year now and he has proposed.
Turns out he left for another state to hustle and things were going fine, he promised to do the introduction this year and so on.

Along the line, she demanded that she needed some money to start up a business which he agreed to.
After giving her the money, things started to change.
He stopped calling and texting as usual.

Then one day out of nowhere, he tells her she should manage the business very well that he has settled her.
My friend was shocked by those words, what does he mean by settled her?
She asked him to explain further and he said he was no longer interested in the marriage, he's not ready to get married and she should take the money for the business as a form of compensation for wasting her time.

Now she's torn, heartbroken and confused. She claims she can't even continue with the business because he was the one who inspired her to give it a try and now without him it's not the same.

She still loves him and is ready to give him back every thing he spent to setup the business just to have him back.

My question now is, why invest so much into someone if he didn't want to rip the fruit..who does that..
Education / Re: Where Are The Dullards In Your Class? by kateskitty(f): 8:44am On Jun 03, 2017
Me77:
I was among the dullard in our classroom back in the days. I always took the position of second to the last, and the reason why I didn't take the last position was because the grand undisputed dullard was a mental disturbed girl, I felt for her them.
Fast forward to this day (2 June 2017) I'm now the most overachiever and the envy of everyone, they all couldn't believe their eyes when ever they bumped into me during shopping.
This shows that the most intelligent and hard worker don't always become successful... Majority of them Eggheads /book heads and the over Sabi students during my secondary school days are now class room teachers and daycare workers with peanuts for salary, what a pity!
President Buhari, Dino Malaye and Donald Trump are few living proofs you don't need to be the most intelligent to be successful wink
But to be successful you need intelligence
