LegalOpinion:
You should be embarrassed because you are so unintelligent.

First, your first comment was not a question but a submission. I think you are so dumb to know that questions end with a question mark.

If you truly wanted to know exactly what happened, why not simply as "how did this happen" instead of stupidly insinuating that he saw the flood and went to swim?

Second, you lack empathy for the deceased and you have no understanding of the plight of flood victims.
you are entitled to your own opinion, I don't care what you think about my write up. There are people that understood me and gave me satisfactory answers. Enjoy your beautiful weekend and take life easy. Don't complicate the already complicated world

If you checkout CNN website you will see what wreckage typhoons, Hurricanes etc cause including the high death tolls.
And btw, these are countries with better pre warning disaster management o.
Let's take Hurricane Manghut or what is it called that wrecked havoc in China and other low lying countries around the Pacific just few weeks ago.
If you see vids of surge waters pulling houses, flooding streets, airports, ships.....
It comes as a surge.
You will be in your house, block all access to water and be prepared to wait it out.
The sheer force of the surge will tear down a part of your house and just sweep you away.
I remember a family that was interviewed in China, the crying woman's 2 month old was literally pulled off from her arms by flood waters - they haven't found the body till date.
Its unfortunate o. Just one of those things.
sometimes imagining such scenario can heartbreaking.

Don't mind him, he was trying make you feel less intelligent.

A flood killed an Okada rider in ado last year, if someone ask me how the flood killed him, I wouldn't say what kind of question is that but I will probably GIVE DETAILS about what led to the INCIDENCE...
That Okada rider underrated the flood though he was warned not to go but he ignored the warning and while trying to cross the flood path, he got swept off....

Back to the story, sad story indeed.... Rip to the dead
thanks dear. All I wanted was a detailed explanations on how the flood killed the young man

are you not embarrassed by the kind of dead questions you are asking. so you don't understand what it means to be swept away by flood as if this is the first time you are hearing of it. Nawa oo
no am not embarrassed. There are many ways flood can kill and I was trying to know what exactly happened. I know that area well so was wondering what led to him drowning. So you can't make me feel bad or less intelligent because I asked a question. If you don't have a first hand information on how he died then hold your peace. Have a blessed day

Hmmm....floods in areas prone to its raging menaces are usually unpredictable. He probably misjudged and got swept off.

Terrible way to die. Aside from drowning, the victim gets severely battered by being thrown at and struck on all sorts.

I couldn't agree more. That is just the truth. And we women are very guilty.

If you critically access the situation, we women cheat more than men.

As a lady, I know how many men approaches me on a daily basis.

You can't blame us naija women if we cheat. The country is hard, our men cannot provide everything for us.

God gave us pussy and we must survive with it at any cost. Ask Linda Ikeji.

Family › Re: It Seems People Prefer An Unhappy Married Woman To A Single Mother. by Katier00(f): 9:45am On Sep 27, 2018
The honest question is, who is truly happy? From my findings, happiness comes from within. There are women going through hell in their marriages but they decided to see beyond that and be happy while others got married to wonderful men but have sworn never to be happy because they lack contentment. Personally I will choose happiness first irrespective of the situation I find myself, single, married or divorced.

Family › Re: I Need Advice Before Taking The Huge Step Into Marriage. by Katier00(f): 5:47pm On Sep 25, 2018
sleit:
Hi.
I am a lady of 22 years, will be 23 by January next year. I just
graduated and I've been with my guy since 200 level. We are in a
no-sex long distance relationship. In fact, we are both virgins. We
are kind of S.U.ish, if you understand the picture I'm trying to
paint.

He graduated ahead of me, and now has a job and is comfortable enough
to get married. So he's been asking for us to get married before
February next year. This guy is caring, wise, matured, faithful and
crazily in love with me (at least that is what he keeps saying).

Now, the problem?

I am not in love with him. I definitely do like and respect him, but
no matter how much I try, I can't just seem to fall in love with him.
So, you might ask why I kept the relationship for so long?
Well, I broke it off once, but he still came back and said we can put
in the effort to make it work.

He is a kind of person that doesn't condone sex out of marriage. Now,
he says the sexual pressure is quite high on him. And since he is
financially okay, he wants us to get married before he travels out for
his masters abroad.

I really have to give him an answer now as that will determine his
plans when leaving the country by February.

Would you guys advice me to accept the proposal of someone I know will
be a great husband and hope love will come along down the line later? Can a marriage start with just respect and like?
Or should I let him go and hope I will meet someone later? (I keep hearing a lot of scary stories about guys on nairaland and I'm
actually scared that if I let go, I won't get a keeper like him later.)

P.S.
I am a highly introverted person, and to make things worse, I work
remotely which means I hardly see people. I am always in my room with
my laptop.

sweet according to the Bible, it is your duty to submit to your husband and your husband's duty is to love you, just as Christ loved the church. Respect and adore him and you will have a blissful home. I believe you guys are friends
Romance › Re: How Much Should A Lady Worth Before Accepting A Marriage Proposal? by Katier00(f): 5:20pm On Sep 25, 2018
Make sure you are working and support your spouse. Don't go to a man's house without financial support, don't just bring your hole and culinary tips to the table. Most men will abuse you, so no amount is too small or big. The point remains bring in some financial assistance to your marriage.
