Sonship9:Monday is just tomorrow, Our eyes on our mails |
tobasamuels:Sometimes, it's not all about the money... I got an offer for Access Bank Executive Trainee in 2017. The process started with an aptitude test to a panel interview then a video conference interview and finally a one on one interview with a senior HR representative that came from their headquarters. Medicals eventually followed and then the offer came. The process lasted for about 6-7 months I think. When the success mail came, I was given a task they called "Final Assessment". In this final assessment, I was given 10 account opening forms to ensure that ten people open accounts with them depositing a minimum of 200k per person within 5 working days. Yes this was not a marketing position; it was an executive trainee position (what we are calling graduate trainee position here). If I can't bring the 10 people, I was given an option of bringing a single person to fix 5million naira for six months. That is a compulsory precondition to be fulfilled before attending training school and it must be completed within 5 working days. I was given some forms to fill and amongst the many forms included: - Bond of Training Form- on this form, I was to co-sign it with a guarantor that is either a level 16 civil servant, a manager in a multinational organisation, Blue chip company or a commercial bank. On this form, I'm signing jointly with the guarantor that I'm not leaving access bank the moment I report to training school for two years. Any attempt to leave, even if it's a job with world bank, both I and the guarantor will pay the bank 2million naira. - Bond of Fidelity- on this bond, I'll present a guarantor who has a minimum balance of 2 million naira in his account with transaction worth 5million naira in his account over the past six months. Here , we are signing that any losses I incur to the bank during my period of service will be jointly paid by the both of us. I was able to mobilise the 10 ppl to open the accounts but told them not to deposit yet until I take a decision whether to accept the offer or not. When someone told me that I will be mandated to take a car loan which will be probably be a Hyundai or a KIA worth 5million after training school to be paid in 5 years unless I show them evidence of having a not more than 6 months old car, I realised they wanted to tie me down. I rejected the offer, dropped the microphone and left the stage. Firstbank does not have such unrealistic conditions. Their is more Job security for Firstbank Staff in comparison to other banks . Though the salary is a bit low, should you be called for training, kindly appreciate remembering the long queue u saw on the date of aptitude test but could not be called for AC. Appreciate the almighty for receiving the mail for medicals amidst many who are still expecting. Life is one step at a time |
If this is true, they should please send the success mails on time so that people will be sure that they have been selected for ample time for those who want to resign in their work places to. Success mail and Resumption should be at least around 10- 15 days to be fair to all. My thoughts though |

hydar1:yeah...that's true...I'll do that tomorrow |
JoeEINSTEIN:the thread you shared is for normal FBN retail banking Graduate trainee. that one is normally being handled by dragnet. this one is different, it's their merchant bank; Dragnet did not handle the application as we all applied from their site. I think this should be the firstime this is being administered and might not have past questions nor a known format. just practice and expect anything. they ought to have made a test centre available in Abuja...so that once their is an invite to Lagos, it should be for training school. I might not come for the test...dem no try |
Pwettyqueenessy:same too , applied from Kaduna...at least, they should have made a venue available in Abuja too... |
invitation for Aptitude test mails have started rolling.... I just received mine...problem is: test centre is Lagos while I am in Kaduna |
A salute to APC Propaganda Machinery: Sometimes It's laughable when people return all glories of Lies to Alh. Lai Moh'd. Their is more to Lai's lies than the man himself. Their is a propaganda machinery in the party that for over the past 11 months, it has remained the most functional silent ministry in Buhari's government. The Ministry of propaganda headed by an unknown leader has Lai Moh'd as just one out of the many publicity secretaries it has. Considering the fact that their has been a constant fall in megawatts of electricity produced in the country, a persistent fuel crisis as well as the fall in value of our legal tender, one will be forced to say that the ministry of propaganda had even been stronger than Fashola's ministry of power, Buhari's ministry of petroleum as well as Kemi Adeosun's ministry of Finance. This ministry has a wide coverage in terms of membership, ranging from the high and mighty in the government to the Adesinas and Shehus. The rudder of coverage extends to the social media arm headed by some generals that were served with Rice by the first lady few months ago in the ASO rock. The greatest arm of the ministry are those in the simpleton axis. They are found in 'mai-shayi', 'akara woman' and mai waina joints, carrying old Kchibo radios and a 15 megabytted phone that opens blogs like Olu famous and other APC apologetic blog. The ministry is so efficient that it tries to build capacity to coverup anything done by this government in the wrong dimension. My salute goes to this propaganda machinery based on their ability to change topics until they have a grip of one that turns the attention of Nigerians away from boiling issues in the country. In January when the federal government couldn't pay salaries on time, this propaganda machinery was fuelled to start spreading rumors of returned loots. Their greatest feet was strengthened by the arrest of Dasuki. As time moved on, people already got tired of the Dasukigate so they restrategized and shot a lasting shot by launching #IstandWithBuhari which was later kicked to the dustbin against all odds by the commander in chief. When #IStandWithBuhari was kicked, propaganda gradually went out of hand, Nigerians gradually started seeing the webs removed from their eye as they were hit by increase in fuel prices joined by long queues in gas stations, epileptic power supply amidsts myriads of other problems. Nigerians gradually started complaining. This propaganda ministry gradually realized that their support base is gradually loosing ground, they revisited the need for an intensive media coverage of Sarakis trial but Nigerians were less interested in that; to Nigerians, the fuel crisis was a bigger devil to them than that. They jumped into bringing Amaechi to blame the national assembly regards the Lagos-Calabar rail with funny "#IStandWithBuhari-like organizations" called CUPS calling for protest in the national assembly but Goddamit! Nigerians were less interested. The machinery saw the need to go back to their directorate and restrategize. Boom!! They had a catchy topic : Buhari's visit to China, Nigeria had moved most of her foreign reserve to Yuan, Dollar has now lost about 70% value. And it had gone viral. The common APC man on the street now claims that "The dollar had just lost value". Most of them are now celebrating the loan when the hard fact is; "the Yuan charade was brought in to blind APC fanatics from remembering the fuel crisis." Its a psychological tactics.... I salute the APC propaganda machinery!! |
lols, people can be funny |
SUPERPACK:Yes, APC did, Tambuwal as speaker of the house of reps then won under PDP but defected. the courts said its alright. Kwankaso, Nyako, Abdulfatai Ahmed were all PDP governors before they defected to APC.... the courts said its alright |
Let me say it raw..... If Buhari wants to progress, he needs change. He should strengthen any other political party other than PDP,APC,APGA or LP. He must decamp from APC to a new party other than the above mentioned. In fact , I propose him decamping to PRP, SDP, ACPN or any other low key political party. In the new party, he should ensure that they shouldn't accept any decampee after he has decamped. He should sack everybody in his current cabinet and appoint new ones that are ready to work. He should then ensure that he throws away any 2019 bid to contest for second tenure. He should even observe the 2019 campaigns from a distance, supporting no one. It is then that his anti corruption crusade will catch well, his philosophy will see light. But my fear is; will he not be impeached? Will he not be killed? But only when he does this before we can confirm those that are ready for change... |
