quick question................. is it safe for apply to different schools?

I'm talking about UBC and McGill university.
UBC is asking if i Have applied to other schools? if i answer Yes. Does this reduce one's chances of being selected? or it safe to say No?

It is very safe. In my opinion, you should indicate that you have applied to other schools as a sign of seriousness.

What can be done to salvage this situation? Is it possible to apply through the US Embassy in Ghana? Is it even acceptable? Please come through guys! Thanks.

Let me.respond to.your last question. Yes you can work and pay your bills but the best advise I can give you is to come with 2-3months tuition fee if it's a school that accept monthly payment like TLU. This would safe you the threat of being ex-matriculated while you await your trp. Note (I used ex-matriculated because that's the threatening mail they've being sending to people that default paying tuition .

Its like a first in model....if someone who gets a waiver rejects it later on and you are the next in the rank, then you get it....the rank is based on admission score....

How can I check my admission score? Any idea?

If you can afford to pay your first year fee, don't waste time waiting, just go ahead and accept. If they turn around n feel you deserve a scholarship, dey will return your money.

Thank you @yoyolagos I haven't gotten any interview information regarding my second choice. However, Mechatronics is what I really intend to study. What are the requirements to meet in order to get a refund?

Please someone should tell us how it goes. Should the offer be accepted or should I wait? I also need information on self funding. Can someone work and pay for tuition in Estonia?

I got a place but not a tuition waiver. I really need that waiver as I wont be able to fund the program on my own. @YoungMil how long did you wait before you got a tuition waiver?

The interview was okay bro. I give God the glory for how it turned out. No awkward moment. The professor actually said he is looking forward to seeing me in Estonia. So now I'm just praying and hoping everything works out for good. #fingerscrossed

Yeah... virtually all questions were technical questions...was told to type some answers via the chat window, wrote on paper and showed through web cam..then normal questions...like why u chose TUT, Ur plan after study, how it fixes Ur career goal, where u learnt about TUT... etc.

I arrived Abuja yesterday too. The nonchalance of the government though. And to think I had to leave work for this..

please note that the interview is not holding on Monday 05, March 2018. I just called the number on the PDF document. Someone should please confirm this, before people start traveling down to Abuja.

The interview was never slated for Monday 5th of March. Interviews commence on Tuesday 6th of March. Only accreditation will take place on Monday. There is no postponement information on their website neither has any SMS been sent to applicants in this regard(as was the case for the BEA scholarship). So please, continue with all travel preparations until otherwise stated.

I plan to leave the day of the accreditation on 5th, if I arrive the accreditation venue by 3pm, hope it will still be on and I can still be attended to. I also plan to leave the next day immediately after the interview as long as I finished before 3pm.

Ideally, accreditation lasts still 4pm, but why risk it? Are you very sure you'll make it to the venue by 3pm if you leave on the same day? Secondly, if you're from the south east, your accreditation should be on the 6th and interview on the 7th of March.

I uploaded the data page of my international passport during the application. Yet, as has been reported before, it didn't appear. In fact before submitting the application, when the pdf version came up and I didn't see any pictures on the image side, I had hold on submission and went back to the pages to be sure there was no place I skipped where my photo should have been uploaded.

My question is fellow applicants, did your own come up with the data page of your passport or none. If yes, I will know how to attach it on the pdf before printing copies for the interview.

I had the same problem but then I figured out that it was because I attached a pdf version of the data page of my international passport. What I then had to do was to delete the previous file, then attach a JPEG picture of the same data page and it reflected on the printed form. I don't know if you will still have the option of doing this, but do well to check. If you cannot, just bring your form and come along with your international passport if you have one.

Yes. I never would advice anyone to give up on something they believe in. Besides, an international passport was not explicitly stated in the interview requirements.

Your international passport data page should have appeared on the pdf version. Maybe you should look for a way to go around that. but it should be the data page of your international passport showing your picture, not just an ordinary passport photo.
