I have always listened to my dad tell us the history of our people. From our origin and exit from Mecca during the war in which king Lam'Urudu was killed, while his son Oduduwa (Odu'Adua) had to escape.

He had always told us about the movements and journeying of Oduduwa and those who he was able to take along till they came to base in now Osun State. And how his son Akanbi had seven sons, namely:

Olowu of Owu
Onisabe of Sabe
Onipopo of Popo
Olubenin of Benin
Alaketu of Ketu
Orangun of Ila
Alaafin of Oyo.

Till today, he could tell us about the location of others except the Onisabe of Sabe and the Onipopo of Popo! Whose names we could not tell of till today and their whereabouts, despite wondering what happened to them and where they could be!

But as GOD would make it a reality, I logged on to nairaland.com this morning only to be met with the news of Benin Republic making decisions to join Nigeria! And each comment by two Nairalanders, ThatFairGuy and Ideadoctor smacked me to run a search on their comment!

And alas! The Onisabe of Sabe and the Onipopo of Popo turned out to be exactly as they commented! The Benin Republicans are our brothers O Yorubas!!! They are the (to us) lost tribes we cannot find out where they had been!

Then he remembered that his guardian back then do say he is going to purchase pepper from the Baribas which turns out to be in Benin Republic!

This is so amazing to me!
I know GOD has something in store for us by bringing us back to unity.

infact i have also been observn overtime this same trend by nairalanders when an issue is brought forward. The said response at bay which is very very appaling. i have also notice a particular backlash on Nigerian females by nairalanders. infact when an issue is brought by an OP there is an appeal for insults not to be thrown. the originators of this forum should as a matter of urgency monitor critically members comments and sanction or else the forum would be brought to a standstill. there are so many fraudsters operating on this forum,so also sex perverts,sessionists,bigots ,hypogrates ,terrorists,you name all associated with evil. the purpose of this forum has indeed outlived its good purpose.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who had noticed these lists of the kind of people who have now taken over this platform.
The last time I tried creating an awareness, the post was deleted, so, I kept my cool without reacting to the deleted post.

But since the blog owner and his mods are not interested in doing anything about these situation all because they had placed a disclaimer notice, we've got no choice than to watch. I'll still say this again that, "This wasn't the nairaland I knew back then in 2012."

It is quite sad to read some provocative and disheartening comments here from some people mocking her with her looks and others. Like if she lays down before you, you won't hurriedly strip to do her. (Not even with the number of pervs and sex freaks that has taken over this platform now.)

And if you have never experienced not seeing a sister/brother of yours at a time you know she/he normally return home, just keep your mouth shut and never spill thrash thinking you're going to sound hilarious to any sane person here.

I know how it feels to not see a sister return on time because they never take that long to return back home. I know the kind of prayers the whole family engaged in immediately her numbers weren't going through. My dad is a very strong man, but I can see the sadness on his face.

We had to move out that same night at past 12AM, heading to our bus stop to go in search of her only to meet her on the way coming back with all those trekking because there was no bike anymore at that time. Everyone berated the kind of devilish traffic. That was when our heart rejoiced. Her numbers weren't going because her battery was flat.

So if you haven't gone through that panic experience, please I repeat, just shut up and never comment thrash. If she was with her boyfriend, fine, but it will be very annoying and disgusting of her to later switch on her phone but still refuse to pick and then switch it off again.

The least you can do is pray for her safe return.

I thought only Toyota Hilux travel well in the desert. Though, any vehicle could break down at any time. Sad event.
