infact i have also been observn overtime this same trend by nairalanders when an issue is brought forward. The said response at bay which is very very appaling. i have also notice a particular backlash on Nigerian females by nairalanders. infact when an issue is brought by an OP there is an appeal for insults not to be thrown. the originators of this forum should as a matter of urgency monitor critically members comments and sanction or else the forum would be brought to a standstill. there are so many fraudsters operating on this forum,so also sex perverts,sessionists,bigots ,hypogrates ,terrorists,you name all associated with evil. the purpose of this forum has indeed outlived its good purpose.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who had noticed these lists of the kind of people who have now taken over this platform.
The last time I tried creating an awareness, the post was deleted, so, I kept my cool without reacting to the deleted post.

But since the blog owner and his mods are not interested in doing anything about these situation all because they had placed a disclaimer notice, we've got no choice than to watch. I'll still say this again that, "This wasn't the nairaland I knew back then in 2012."

It is quite sad to read some provocative and disheartening comments here from some people mocking her with her looks and others. Like if she lays down before you, you won't hurriedly strip to do her. (Not even with the number of pervs and sex freaks that has taken over this platform now.)

And if you have never experienced not seeing a sister/brother of yours at a time you know she/he normally return home, just keep your mouth shut and never spill thrash thinking you're going to sound hilarious to any sane person here.

I know how it feels to not see a sister return on time because they never take that long to return back home. I know the kind of prayers the whole family engaged in immediately her numbers weren't going through. My dad is a very strong man, but I can see the sadness on his face.

We had to move out that same night at past 12AM, heading to our bus stop to go in search of her only to meet her on the way coming back with all those trekking because there was no bike anymore at that time. Everyone berated the kind of devilish traffic. That was when our heart rejoiced. Her numbers weren't going because her battery was flat.

So if you haven't gone through that panic experience, please I repeat, just shut up and never comment thrash. If she was with her boyfriend, fine, but it will be very annoying and disgusting of her to later switch on her phone but still refuse to pick and then switch it off again.

The least you can do is pray for her safe return.

Similar river is in Ogun State, Iwopin area, just forgotten the exact name of the village. The river was named 'Sooure' (can be pronounced as 'Show-ureh') It is extremely deep, but very clear that you can see the bottom of it including all the fishes in it.

The most dangerous part of it is, it is very cold, and could freeze you to death in a matter of minutes. That's why no one goes over to its open areas to fetch water, they rather go to where it turn sideways and get water from it's shallow bank.

It is just that I get attached to my environment and I'm the last born and almost the major cord of unity in my house, if I move out of my brothers house rashly it may affect him, cause it not even so simple, it takes a lot of strength for me to be here, I was supposed to move out of the country so that's why the whole apartment stuff not making sense right away, even my sisters living in other states had been begging me to come but I get attached to my family house and here.

My dear brother, well, I know soon enough, you will come to realize you're all alone in this world, and that those you think really love you are not that much of their displayed affection towards you.

I know what I am saying….saying this out of experience.

Now you had spoken like someone who understands a bit of my plights, I don't hate her despite that she had shown me lots of hate attitude, and body languages that shows shes the boss, I don't complain, my brother had warned her several times to stay out of attacking me, but this particular situation is non of that, my brother is equally a culprit here, and if care is not taken my elder brother may have to wash this sheet or pay for a hotel room for me tonight, but I have decided to work overnight, tomorrow I will sort out everything, you didn't see me complain about petty things like food or trying to show some hateful attitude towards me, this is a different issue.

And if I raise this issue, my brother will not waste time before he washes the bedsheet or take it to the dry cleaners but some things are even shameful that two grown adults will not know the right thing to do.

I said she disgusts me, I never said I hate her despite the way she treats me, i see those as things my mum and every family members had said I should have patients that it a matter of time but this is a different situation. It is disgusting to me.

I understand your situation very well, even with the little I've read from your comments, but I won't want to talk about it.
But what I'll still advise is, once you have the capacity, try moving out of your brother's place. Then, you'd have your privacy.

I won't be saying much about your brother and his wife making use of your room while you were away. They might be sending you a message, or they ain't aware you might be returning that soon.

One thing is, if you have the capacity, get an apartment and try leaving your brother's place. I imagine you saying you don't like her, hit the point, you hate her; and that ain't healthy for your soul.

Even if she doesn't respect you, learn to ignore whatever will poison your heart. When you ignore it, they will have no impact on you no matter what they bring along. You'd have that inner peace.

But one thing I'll advise you on is, to be a priest as you said, you will have to put up with many things. I am way older than you and I am also a virgin but I won't go into details on why I am still a virgin.

If you tend to find people disgusting to you, you still have a lot of work to do on your person. I'll be frank, being a priest even isn't what you need now, but being a workman for the LORD in His vineyard.

I still have a lot to say, but I'll pause here….
