Purpl3: Welcome to my everyday life bruh Mine isn't only with CBM's sef cos I'm also a wrestling nerd...I still dey follow people argue if wrestling is real or fake
Lol! Then you get the "wrestling was real when Hogan and co were wrestling. These ones now are just acting" crowd. I no get strength for argument these days. I just shake my head and laugh. Or if I feel the okoto is too much, I drop the fax and then leave them to be arguing with my shadow.
Purpl3: Don't mind Seun and his archaic facilities. You can read directly from here tho.
As much as I know you hate indecisive finishes, I knew you wouldn't mind the end of that tag match. That match really needed an encore.
Can't say the same for that addendum after Bianca's defense. I really don't want another series of matches with Carmella. We had more than enough of those last year.
The women's MITB match was a mess, if we're being frank. I haven't seen work that horrible from the women's division in a while.
I don't even know why I was surprised that the Bobby/Theory match was that good. They're both talented workers. I should've expected it.
Did you catch that character tease? My mind instantly went to Bray Wyatt but folks on twitter are making a strong case that it's Edge. What do you think?
DandeNumeruno: I hated that film. I just couldn't get past the myth of a skinny girl outmatching men twice her size in hand and gun combat without breaking a sweat. To make matters worse, they messed up the film's technology.
Watch Atomic Blonde if you want to see a film about a female spy in Russia done right. The fight scenes are breathtakingly realistic.
brainhack: ..Just deleted 31gb of Fairy Tail in other to create space. I had to watch episode 48 for the last time. Only two anime moments have filled my eyes with tears;
The first was the death of Portgas D. Ace [One Piece], Luffy’s grief was so dense I could feel and touch it.
The second - episode 48 [Fairy Tail], Makarov‘s subtle message to Laxus, when Laxus was leaving; following his expulsion from Fairy Tail. Lesson: You can love someone with overwhelming love but you may still need to cut them off, heart rendering.
*************************************** Now I am back to watching the King of cruise of the Anime Kingdom, the funniest anime I know thus far Gintama
Baddestguyp: I explained to you that I watched that video less than 10mins before I came to Nairaland... And I sent the link since I already agree with most of those views... except the one on exposition
But it seems you lack understanding... Same way you don't understand any media except your Loli anime girls
And you just happened to watch said video just before coming on Nairaland to meet a Dr Strange post that you could reply with that video. Make that a nice trouple of convenient coincidences
Baddestguyp: Rest. This agenda is stale... I obviously just finished watching the video before I came to Nairaland... And I posted that instead of a lengthy response cos I agree with 90% of that video except the critique of the exposition in the movie
So basically, you need the video to speak for you because you can't outline your own opinions. And you somehow managed to find a video that just encapsulated the same opinions you just happened to have? That's a nice couple of convenient coincidences.
DandeNumeruno: I grew up watching these movies you mentioned, but the thing is, his style of comedy just doesn't appeal to me anymore. It’s schoolboy humour, weird faces and impressions, nothing more.
Dumb and Dumber and Bruce Almighty are ace though.
I believe we've reached the point of agree to disagree then.
DandeNumeruno: Anchorman and Step Brothers are my favorite Will Ferrell films, but that's about it. In all of his roles, he comes across as a gullible buffoon, which doesn't really work for me. Many comics, such as Kevin Hart, play themselves in their films, but they can still be good and have range. Will Ferrell either doesn't have that range or chooses not to use it.
As for Jim Carrey, brash and goofy and making funny faces does not necessarily equal funny. He sucks as a comic. Ironically, he's a much better actor when he plays non-comedic roles.
Nah! I'll die on this Carrey hill. The Mask, Liar Liar, Riddler in Batman Forever and then comes back to kill it as Robotnik, not once but twice. C'mon, give the man his flowers.
DandeNumeruno: He was good in Step Brothers, but I attribute that to his chemistry with co-star John C. Reilly.
He's always playing a manchild, and his over-the-top comedy is so cringey that I can't believe I used to laugh at it as a teen.
After seeing better acts, an adult me realized that this guy and Jim Carrey are dumb comedians who only appeal to children and adults who are young at heart.
Now, hold your horses, I don't mean the bolded as an insult. It's fairly common for adults to retain their childish sense of humor and fancies. Sometimes I envy such people cos nothing would please me than to relax and watch Courage the Cowardly Dog rerun with the kids and enjoy it as much as they do.
I wouldn't even put Ferrell with Carrey as comedians that appeal to children, seeing as most of Ferrell's works are for an older audience due to the raunchy humor and content. Even at that Carrey has that cartoony humor on lock. Put some respeck on his name.
