CoolUsername:Not to mention the duality complex with the demons. How much of them are human and how much is demon? Seeing as Brandy had no idea she had maternal instincts, could there also be other feelings they're capable of that they just haven't realized yet? |
armadeo:Hmmm! Will drop thoughts on Monday |

CoolUsername:If they improve the animation and adapt the art style to be more faithful to the manga, it could possibly compensate for the disappointing debut. |

A'ight. Let's get this shit out of the way. Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is a a reboot of the G.I. Joe film series. Cos for some reason, some folks on here seem to be expecting a sequel to Retaliation. It's not. Cos the Captain Obvious posts are starting to get on my nerves. |
NoonMasamune:I don't even understand how the dude's supposed to be a god. Boy can only create inanimate objects he's seen and shapeshift into dead beings. There are basic isekai protagonists stronger than this. The only major advantage he has is his immortality. |
nani667:Bugs Bunny don't play around. |
Najdorf:Serious contender for Anime of the Season. |
Wrath of Man 7/10 A nice product of a Ritchie/Statham marriage that has me hyped for Five Eyes before even seeing a trailer. A decent revenge story with storytelling that had me glued to the screen. Dialogue was a bit artificial and pretentious in some scenes but the cast masked it with competent delivery. Jason is the last of a dying breed and I savour every performance he delivers these days cos he's in the twilight years of his career. And he was really good in this. Projecting the necessary emotions to help immerse you in what was happening on screen. The cinematography is gloomy and gritty and serves to establish the movie's grim setting and atmosphere And the firefight at the climax was very entertaining. Definitely rewatching that even if I don't find time to rewatch the movie. |
pu7pl3:Ridiculousness on steroids. Probably the most enjoyable part of the movie ![]() |
Gunpowder Milkshake 5/10 For an action movie, this was a labour to watch. The action scenes were poorly choreographed. I mean, they managed to make Michelle Yeah boring to watch. Granted, she's past her prime but that was not enough excuse for the terrible showing. The dialogue had me wondering whether it was the script that was bad or the actors that sucked at the delivery. The plot was basic and predictable. All in all, it was just alright. Could have been better though. |
Hot Pursuit 3/10 A buddy cop comedy that just falls flat on its face and failed to elicit a minimum wage of laughs from me. Reese Witherspoon's southern idiom-laced fast talking wore off on me faster than a you can skin a chicken and Sofia Vergara's loud latina was so loud it started grating my eardrums. Most of the comedy was cringe and not the entertaining kind. I was just happy to be done at the end and didn't waste any time deleting. |
Karleb:No be about loving or liking the movie. E get statement wey you go see, you go know say the person dey cap. |
CoolUsername:Even more stupid when attempts are made to romanticize it. |
