CoolUsername: I just attempted to watch the second episode of Uzumaki and I'm not quite sure what is going on. It looks like a totally different show.
I don't know whether they blew their budget on the pilot but it went from looking the manga pages brought to life to early-mid 2000s c-list anime quality. I feel like I have been scammed.
Just look at this shiit: streamable[dot]com/0wisnj
Came across some chatter concerning this on the net. From the little I browsed through, seems the studio got impatient and/or stingy and decided to rush the production while shuffling staff
oyaskii: The people supposedly hate watching it, are doing so in the hope that it will eventually come good because of how good the movies were and I can't fault them.
They should probably follow my mantra. For awhile now, I don't see shows with the hope that it will eventually come good, despite a start or season, i didn't like. I have neither the time, patience or attention span to afford such luxury. It took me just 3 episodes of S1 to know this show wasn't for me, and i didn't even complete S1. I am perfectly fine on missing out on it, even if it eventually comes good. It is already a closed chapter in my books as I'm perfectly fine on missing out on it, just to many good media around to be bothered.
It is better than hanging on to it, getting disappointed each week, ranting and even throwing squabbles with folks on here, that are supposedly having a good time with it. No show is currently worth all that stress.
The average viewer isn't dropping a trending show no matter how bad they claim to find it. The FOMO won't let them. They'd rather watch and rant than actually seek out a show they might like. Most of them don't even know what kind of shows they like.
The few who checked out S2 because folks said that it was better than S1 dropped it barely halfway. It's the folks who made it all the way to the finale that'll still be back to watch season 3 and rage and rant.
At the end of the day, everyone will choose what they want to do with their God-given time.
Chibudollar: Naaaa, fukkkk all this peace shíte . If you actually read my post and you failed to understand. Fk U and your thinking faculty.
More likely that you're the one failing at understanding but your thinking faculty, though I doubt it exists, lacks the range to consider that perspective.
Also, if you're going to lead with "fukk all this peace shite", follow up with some actual smoke. The above post doesn't even amount to vapour
Chibudollar: Normally i suppose reply with gbas gbos but to avoid derailing the thread and you self don tey for here make i chill. Besides no where in that post did I imply wanting to marry an actresses of any kind.
To marry an actress, you have to date one. To date an actress, you gots follow one talk. Where you see actress wey wan follow you talk?
This is like someone who can barely afford a Toyota talking about how they don't want to buy a Bugatti. Makes no sense cos you lack the capacity either way.
Chibudollar: "they were just acting, the sëx scenes are not real" bla bla bla. Marry an actor of you want high blood pressure. 😂
The funniest thing about posts like this is that the people having these opinions no go even see C-list actress to talk to. Worrying about problems you'll never have 🤣😂
Look at those visuals. Unfortunately, the average anime fan only knows the names of 2 studios so Science Saru won't get the praise they deserve for cooking this hard with the OP visuals
Now that's an interesting premiere episode. Let's see how this goes. I've seen some hyping it up as potentially the next Jujutsu Kaisen. 🤔
UZUMAKI...
Pristine horror fare.... despite being an animation, you could feel the dread in the air with its visually weird themes in spirals. This Junji Ito really has a weird and macabre imagination with his stories and visuals.
Dandadan premiere was hard asf. Had me sat instantly for the rest of the season
