See as they dressed her up exactly like Lisa. Honestly wouldn't rule this out. Big media rolled out one of the craziest propaganda campaigns I've seen in awhile for her |

2 days to go. One of the best aspects of Arcane is its music, which is not surprising if you've come across League of Legends media a few times. The old joke that Riot Studios is a music company masquerading as a video game company doesn't even really feel like a joke these days cos Riot has really grown their in-house music portfolio to crazy levels.
Arcane: Season I had an absolutely magnificent OST album. The score encompassed multiple genres including pop, jazz, country, hip-hop & rock. It took an already amazing story and elevated it to greater heights by accentuating the environment and moods in various scenes. I still can't tell whether Jinx and Ekko's fight was animated with Dynasties and Dystopia in mind or vice versa. And I really don't believe the climactic scene hits as hard as it does without What Could Have Been by Sting and Ray Chen playing in the background.
From a few tracks released for promotion from the Season II soundtrack album, I have no doubts we're getting another amazing soundtrack. Whether it'll beat the Season I soundtrack still remains to be seen.

cao: I expected nothing less from a Bollywood actioner. They be doing OTT by default. The funny thing is that this is the first non-English media I've watched in years, all because I saw Hrithik Roshan Hrithiking. I didn't know they made a YRF Spy Universe out of Ek Tha Tiger, but now I'm gonna do catch up. It will be nice rekindling my non-English content again, I've missed out on some good Asian media. Yep! Same reason I ended up putting Ek Tha Tiger on my watchlist. Now to actually find time to watch it is another issue entirely |

Beorn: Even though I thoroughly enjoyed Blue Eye Samurai, I agree with you that it was a basic revenge story animation. It's very interesting but not on the levels of Arcane if we are to add other ingredients like story arc, character building, incredible VFX, better plot; in short, Arcane is heads and shoulders above BES.
You'd gradually see the emotional processes most of them went to get to the point they were.. Jayce's character development still remains one of my best written aspects of the show. But when I saw the character development of side characters like Marcus, the Enforcer (pictured below), I was left in awe. When he was introduced, you wouldn't have cared if he'd died in the first act, infact you probably wished for it. By the end of the second act, there was such nuance to his character that his death had some emotional weight to it.

oyaskii: A bomb that shatters the entire Gotham Overflow tunnel, you'd think will certainly get the attention of the Caped Crusader but then again Matt Reeves hinted sometime ago that we would probably not see his version of Batman again, till The Batman II in 2025, and that although the show takes place in Batman's universe but they wanted the focus to be on Oz. But i feel, a Batman appearance would have been an all timer tv moment, and they missed a huge opportunity if at the end of the last episode, he doesn't show up, at least the little premise from the final episode doesn't suggest so...
And that was IGN angst with the show and why they rated it so low. They felt The Penguin is not such an intricate character to deserve a whole show about, and a Batman appearance would have elevated the show and hidden the lack of depth of Oz.
But i say Fvck them!, Collin Farrell as Oz was one of the most memorable thing from "The Batman" (2022), and it would have been criminal not to have him reprise the role. Critics sometimes can be so up-tight for no reason, just enjoy greatness and forget about the little inadequacies ffgs. No matter how the last episode pans out, This was a GOOD SHOW! 👌🏿 I still don't fully believe Matt Reeves. They're probably trying to distract us. I see it now. The climatic scene of the final episode. Sofia thinks she has Oz cornered but then he looks to the east, to see Victor arrive with the gang bosses. Oz takes the lead and as he and Sofia and their forces charge at each other. Just before they clash, a dark figure swoops down between them. It's The Dark Knight. He throws out his arms towards both parties. They stop in their tracks, all attention on him. Batman reaches into his toolbelt and pulls out... A can of Pepsi.

4 days to go and today, I'll like to revisit the architecture and environment design of Arcane.
The contrasts between Piltover and The Undercity. Even when Piltover is shown during the night, you still can't mistake it for The Undercity with the clear differences in their aesthetics.

5 days to go and, today, I want to appreciate the amazing cast that help to bring these characters to life, giving voice to their actions and emotions.
The performances that stood out mostly to me from Arcane: Season I were Jason Spisak as Silco, Toks Olagundoye as Mel Medarda, Ella Purnell as Jinx and Reed Shannon as Ekko

As long as they concentrate on his rise to stardom and avoid dwelling on the controversial part of his life that would push away his fans, billions is certain. GloriousGbola: I wouldn't call sister act a musical though
I will join the pile on anime watchers are weird Asian fetishists because anime features Asian bodies that do not exist. Thicc Asians with humongous bosoms?
How can you ignore the musical of our childhood the sound of music and Mary Poppins yall!
And all those Indian oldies - karate, number 10 etal I get why you'd feel Sister Act isn't really a musical. They don't break into musical numbers in the manner that traditional musicals do but music is still its central theme so it definitely fits within the genre. Is it really a Bollywood movie if there's no music? |

Illusioneffect: The only musicals that actually made sense no pass 4 - La la land The sound of music Mamma mia Singin' in the Rain. And that's because they actually had great songs The Sound of Music and Singin' in the Rain are certified classics for a reason. I've never been able to get on the La La Land train. Didn't really connect with the story or the music. Which is funny because a friend of mine that collected the movie from me and his brother who aren't really fans of musicals ended up loving it. |

mablie: Lol! I really enjoy musicals too and I am neither of the stereotypes in the post you quoted. Some of my favourites are; 1.Hello,Dolly--1969 2.Annie--1982 3.Little Shop of Horrors--1986 4.Sister Act--1992 5.Moulin Rouge--2001 6.O Brother Where Art Thou?--2000 7.Chicago--2002 8.Walk the Line--2005 9.Mamma Mia--2008 10.In the Heights--2021 11.Westside Story--2021 Only one I've solidly watched here is Sister Act. I've never been able to watch Mamma Mia from start to finish. I must either be interrupted or not start from beginning. In the Heights is on my watchlist. My best musical used to be The Sound of Music but ever since 2014, when i watched Les Miserables (2012), I've never been able to decide which one is No. 1 |

Their reported goals:
• Make 25-30 movies a year • Prioritize certain genres • Stop overspending just to be in business with big stars • Use original ideas for most of their films • Keep budgets under $100M
