Haven't even watched Battle of the Realms yet and they're loading another one with Kenshi getting the spotlight. Choke me with good content

sprints1:
this is why I hate watching Netflix film very incoherent movie. Waste of cast and annoying plot.

If you hate it, why do you keep doing it?

CoolUsername:
It's the Morbius of anime.

Especially when they say "It's armin time" and then they armed all over the place

Facts!!

Well, well well!

GloriousGbola:
So where can I find this in 2160p or 1080p?

And is it something teens/tweens can watch with their parents?

It's irony, actually. Ex-Arm is straight up atrocious.

Duchessree:

That's cool and all but Anos still solos your fave

Duchessree:

Nothing but the truth.

Baddestguyp:
everyone has been watching silently...no one is posting spoilers so nothing to worry about...

I'm about 70% done sef

This same Nairaland wey I sabi? E sure me die somebody is cooking spoiler to drop. Not taking any chances.

Looks like Netflix did justice to The Sandman. Abduleez's hype was not in vain. Time to get on it and probably avoid this thread until I'm done.

Discountsempai:
Currently watching

1.Parallel world pharmacy
2.Vermeil in gold
3.Summertime Rendering
4.Second season of Classroom of the elite and Danmachi
5.Yakuza's guide to babysitting.
6. Some old anime...if I can finish them.

I recommend summertime rendering....very good.

Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting is so wholesome.

CoolUsername:
Bad news, I finished the first six chapters, went on reddit to look at discussions, fan art, and memes only to find out that it is on an indefinite hiatus due to the mangaka's health issues.

First Kaiju Girl Caramelize and now Ruri Dragon.

The monster girl in high school genre is cursed.

I'll still read and then wait for miracle.

CoolUsername:
Just started Ruri Dragon and I already like the protagonist and mother's dynamic.

Lol! The mom's definitely a vibe. Checking this out ASAP

CoolUsername:
WARNING! UNCENSORED HAND HOLDING!!

VerifiedStalin:
Sauron, as far as I know, was never a child.

You know he's joking, right?

CoolUsername:
Nagatoromachines, son.

Making the mother of all omelettes here, Nagatoro.

Achilles100:
Lycoris Recoil.

Enjoying this anime.

One of the best things this anime season.

MJBOLT:

they did it because of film rights issues with Fox.

Are you talking about the MCU? Or the comics?

pu7pl3:
Don't mind MJBOLT
Even in the new X-Men comic books where Scarlett just came back from the dead she is still Magneto 's daughter.
They didn't retcon anything.

All roads lead to Judgement day ETERNALS VS X-MEN VS AVENGERS

Had me shook for a minute. Lemme even research where to enter this Judgement Day from.

MJBOLT:

they are no longer his children, Marvel retconned it years ago.

Damn! You don't follow the comics for a few years and suddenly the lore you know is no longer canon.

Aflix:
Does Thanos have super super strength? The kind of Superman strength

Does the dude who bullied The Hulk have super strength? Really?

IbrahimMav:
Not true.
Sauron has always been there.
He was there in the time of Morgoth, serving as Morgoth's disciple/servant.
He was there after Morgoth was overthrown,
He was there to corrupt and mentor the Witch King in the second age.

The timeline of the Ring of Power is still hazy.
Everyone knows it's a prequel series and took place long before events in The Hobbit transpired but aside from that, details are hazy.
So the primary villain will either be Morgoth, Sauron, or the Witch King.

Never said he wasn't there. I said it takes place before his time. As the story progresses, it should chronicle his rise after Morgoth's fall.

Of course, this is all hinged on the premise that Amazon actually makes an attempt to follow the canonical events of things. If they do, doubt we'd be seeing a glimpse of The Lord of Mordor until the very end of the season.

Doubt Morgoth would be any kind of villain seeing as the First Age ended with his defeat. Wouldn't make sense for him for him to be a villain in a tale set in the Second Age.

Baddestguyp:
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

All 3 movies 9/10.... solid trilogy...

I heard Hobbit is a prequel

Also, The Rings of Power is a prequel I heard

Does anyone know the timeline of The Rings of Power?
Does it cover the battle that led to Isildur's victory over Sauron? Cos I assume it does...considering the ring kept getting lost for many years

Rings of Power takes place waaaaaayyyy before Sauron's time.
