Good morning Sir X-fire. Please I need your advice and recommendation. Someone told me of a program Young Africans Leaders Initiative,YALI founded by President Barack Obama and well,you can take courses on leadership and how to start up a business. But it involves a lot of travels,for instance,to Benin republic in September. I'm an undergraduate in the university. Will you suggest I go for the stuff owing to the fact that i I willll be given certificates and I'll increase my network?? Will such a certificate be said to be a professional certificate??

A 2cm3 digester should last you about 4 - 5 hrs which is enough toncook beans.. Biogas is actually sequestering carbon emission, because if its left naturally to decompose to the atmosphere, its over 20 times more harmful than Co2.

Bro either way you can't stop the rolling boulder of green house gases. Why? Cause the after burning this so called biomass gas ... The byproducts are green house gases... Except for one advantage... The waste won't be nuisance and no cost to worry about boarding them away....

Green House gases are majorly : Water vapour , Methane, and carbon dioxide.... And biomass will give you this

I however agree with you to a reasonable extent...but the methane produces would have to be utilized right?? And the amount of Carbon(ii)oxide as well will be reduced compared to that gotten from the activities of decomposers in the soil...and it will take quite a while for the microorganisms to completely decompose these wastes....this which can easily be gotten rid of even to our own benefit....My emphasis,therefore,is value addition and the health implication on man. Perhaps,it's high time we stopped digging the soil and searching for 'black gold'. Doing so will help preserve the Earth for future generation while maximising what we have at hand (It's a sis not a bro)

I am very surprised to hear about the gas crisis. My friend was just telling me that there was scarcity of gas alongside the fuel scarcity that almost paralysed our economy. You guys wont blame me for not being up to date with the gas situation as its been long i refilled my gas cylinder. I now use Biogas to cook at home, Biogas is gotten from the decomposition of my food leftovers. I am also happy to tell you all that the rate at which Lawma visits my compound has reduced as a sizable portion of my wastes is being recycled to gas. I have also designed a couple of Domestic biogas digesters for my neighbors and they wont stop thanking me. Biogas has all the attributes of LPG gas, only that one is way cheaper than the other. My dream is to make it start running on cars here in Nigeria so we all can be our own government.

Well, I agree that this is a type of value addition and it reduces the impact of harzadous waste on the enviroment. If this is done on a large scale,people will see the need not to dispose of waste anyhow(saturating our enviroment with green house gases) and then,they will be a reward for disposing of waste properly(enough of domestic gas).
I'm in support of this totally...Can you enlighten us,please, on how you went about this? Then we will be saving Mother Earth while preserving nature forr future generations.
