This is my take on the Grammy Award African category
1. None of the nominees really produces AFRICAN MUSIC. They are producing commercial music. and their nominations are influenced by AMERICAN RECORD LABELS. Was there any nominee not connected to an American label. Increasingly we are being made to accept that kind of music which is sweet to American ears as the best. There is nothing wrong with winning any award but we must be awake to the influence of. Money and how that dictates to us what we must like. Fela did not gain fame by trying to Westernize his message.
It seems to me that it is better business for the American labels to bring a new winner rather than recycle the usual Nigerian suspects. I urge our musicians to remain original and not try to please anyone

2. It is a shame and a sign of colonialism that Africans should be waiting for America to tell us the best African songs each year. We should be able to do that ourselves in an African capital
3. Even more shameful that we mill around to celebrate like fools totally oblivious to the cultural participation and our own shameless validation craving. no doubt many would have felt good if one of our own bad won but that would merely be feeding a growing addiction
4. Why can't we have our own award in Yaounde or Abidjan or Abuja
5. One final word on money. The Grammy awards in 2020 made $110 million from advertising alone. It is business.

You have too much faith and I applaud that.

But in the real world, nothing actually happens until a very powerful someone’s pocket is affected. Then they stand up and do something to secure/protect their generational wealth.

They don’t need to start a “needless” genocide. All they need is to label and categorize the group they want to kill as bad or terroristic and everyone will keep mute when it happens. If life on earth is one thing, it’s filled with patterns. And these patterns always repeat themselves. People just never learn. Give them an “enemy” and they will gladly burn themselves too trying to help you fight this so-called enemy.

That’s why I caution people against buying into hateful propaganda. It’s never for anyone’s benefit except for those who are going to be financially gaining from the unrest that will ensue

Will the influence of igbos affect their trade relations and diplomatic ties to the actual country of Nigeria? If it won’t, they don’t care.

America will support the side that financially benefits them and that will be the Nigerian side against the Biafran side. The will create smear campaigns to instigate hate against igbo people internationally so everyone will feel better about turning a blind eye to the deaths of millions of igbo citizens.

If you cannot see these clear parallels, I don’t know what to tell you then. When people are quick to support one side even if it’s the wrong side just because of religious beliefs they never know they are feeding the monster that will consume them eventually.

My sincere opinion to this post are as follows:
Any lady that is past 30yrs of age and still single are due to the following reasons.
1. MOST ladies on these categories are not wife material. There attitudes will discourage you about marriage.
2. They are either too materialistic, irrespsonsible, proud or arrogant.
3. Not yet ready to be under the control of any man. These category are called "The Boss Ladies"
4. Only but a few are under a spell or bound down by spiritual/diabolic powers. They are the list of about 3% of the catagory of ladies past 30yrs and still single.

Try to stay on topic. OP asked if parents can disrobe in the presence of their kids, not if we are going to go back to living as nudists in Africa. No one here is saying let's go naked all the time in public, neither have I suggested it as a way forward.

The picture is to show that nudity was part and parcel of our ancestry and still is even in this day and age. There are parents who disrobe in front of their kids regularly in that same Nigeria and these kids are not half as hypersexualized as your kids who see their parents clothed almost 24/7. The picture shows that children who are around parents who disrobe do not grow up with as many body image issues as children who are around adults who are clothed almost 24/7.

They don't see themselves as black maybe because they have a different hair type.. Infact, they hate when you call them black.

She is a Dravidian Indian like my friend Babu and my neighbour Chintu both from Kerala (Malayalam).

Dravidians come in different shades of skin colour. Some are very light skinned whild some are extremely dark skinned. But their hair would always give them away as not Africans unlike the extremely minority Siddis that are actually Africans.
