Ikpuchinonye19: I believe you haven't heard of living in bondage That was the movie that formed what is known as Bollywood today.. Nobody knows any any afonja actress and actresses except those who came down to Enugu to pick a movie role. Who would known the likes of olu Jacob, joke Silva etc if not for Igbo's.. I'm yet to see any afonja break Genevieve's history.. Until then,Igbo's are the owners of nollywood.. History did not start in the 90s Go get an education while we are it and come back to argue online, Nneka or Chiaka. Whatever your Igbotic name is |

Ikpuchinonye19: Oga,I have shown you fact..your opinions doesn't change anything..Netflix paid billions of Naira for her movie and she has made her money.. No Nigerian movie producer is in her league now She made her money no doubt but Netflix has realized she has zero commercial prowess and have extended deals to mostly Yorubas. The center of excellence and sophistication in Nigeria Argue with your ancestors |

Ikpuchinonye19: unless you meant Yoruba movie industry Igbo's have always been the pioneers of nollywood..that's why most of nollywood movies were shot in Enugu before they started using asaba Yorubas started the movie and theater industry in Nigeria prior to the 40s and also started the movie theater industry by veterans like Ogunde that shot expensive movies on celluloid cameras. The Igbos cheapened the whole thing in the 90s with camcorder based productions with terrible audio and released the garbage straight to VHS and ultimately CDs and DVDs which then got the infamous name Nollywood. They still shoot junk in Asaba and Enugu and they are deservedly panned as trash. Yorubas stepped back outside of the strictly Yoruba productions and lifted Nollywood from infamy into something palatable. This is reason the top 100 selling Nollywood production was Directed by Afonjas. We brought some sophistication and sanity back into Nigerian movie making just like our forefathers did. That's a history lesson for you |

MetaPhysical: Anambra"illegitimate"son,
1. Shell has operations in Escravos, Seplat does not.
2. ANOH is a joint venture Shell/Seplat.
3. ANOH is a project and operates OML53 and OML21. Between the two there are six wells, drilled for oil.
4. Shel/Seplat is mining oil from underground.
5. When the oil gets to surface it is taken through refinement to extract gas.
6. The gas is piped and stored in Oben storage facilities.
7. From Oben, gas delivery trucks are filled and rolled out to take the end product to nearby markets, including Imo State. Lagos is not a nearby market and there is no truck rolling from Oben to Lagos.
8. So how do you get gas from Oben to Lagos? ....or from Imo to Lagos? Impossible under current arrangements. If ever it will be done it will be gas pipeline from Oben going to Escravos to connect to ELPS.
9. Is there a gas pipeline from Imo to Lagos? No.
10. Is there pipeline from Oben to Lagos? No.
11. Is there gas reserve in Imo? No.
....but if there is we would love to know so we can scatter it and Imo and Biafra remain a powerless state under Oduduwa exploitation.
Get sense! Lmao |

Jasparrow1: List them. Because they're not recognize in the world at all at all. Igbos still dominate Nollywood. Nollywood belongs to Igbos. Even a new born baby knows that Yorubas dominate Nollywood by every metric. Those are the facts and we pioneered the movie making and theatre industries in the country. The only thing is the Igbos started the cheap movie making industry by producing straight to cheap CDs Here is a list of successful Nollywood movies. Afonjas are dominant. We both agree that yoruba presidential ticket via APC is not cast in gold. It's an open ticket, may the most populous region in APC win. Yes. We agree on that. Shekau from Borno can contest in APC. Anybody can contest |

post=89946018: Can you afford gas, when house rent is hard for you guys to pay They are helping Nigerians and foreigners in your region. This is where that pesky but persistent poverty statistics comes into play and why investment decisions such as the one you just showed from Seplat points to where the money is. Trust me, if he could run a profitable company by selling to the SE that would be his preference. I mean why not? SE is closer to where the gas is but yet he still has to transverse thousands of kilometers to sell where the market really is. Amarabae: but your brothers and sisters are in the hot sun there hawking agbo and disturbing Igbos on radio with their fake herbal drugs. lol, She made a funny. We can't contend with the thousands of daily economic migrants from the SE. All my life, it's been a one way traffic with Igbos flooding the SW seeking economic opportunities. The funny thing is once they make a living wage in the SW, they never ever go back and this includes their kids and subsequent generations. Thats why we have millions of Yorubanized Igbos all over the SW that speak Yoruba as a primary language having no inkling of Igbo. I mean zero knowledge of Igbo. Give them another generation, you won't even know thier provenance any longer. As years goes by, less of them are going back for that annual pilgrimage back to the East. I am positive you fall under what I just described. It's your reality, not mine |

Amarabae: you talk like an illiterate, a state has no right to sell its oil or gas. it is a federal govt right through the NNPC, the bone of contention here is the piping of gas from IMO to Lagos by the FG There is nothing to contend with but simple economics. You channel resources where it profits you the most. This is why I wish NNPC was privatized so we won't have to deal with emotional outbursts such as this. For the umpteenth time. The SE is poor and can't afford anything |
