PoliticsRe: "Chibok Girls Were Kept In A Politician's House After Abduction" – Pastor Bulus by Kaykay(m): 8:50am On Jan 12, 2017
Remember this: Azazi blames Boko Haram attacks on PDP

The retired General made this known during the second day of the South-south economic summit where the collapse of the nation’s security challenge was deliberated on.

Tracing the rise of Boko Haram’s attack, the chief security adviser to the president stated that “the extent of violence did not increase in Nigeria until when there was a declaration by the current president that he was going to contest.”

“PDP got it wrong from the beginning, from the on-set by saying Mr A can rule, Mr A cannot rule ……according to PDP’s convention, rules and regulation and not according to the constitution and that created the climate for what has manifest itself, this way.”

He added that there is some level of political undertone to the problem.

He also noted that the bombings, suicide attacks and jail breaks that have been raging the northern part of the country “could be traced to the politics of exclusion of the PDP in the region.”

Blaming the notion of anointing candidates and the ‘do or die’ attitude of the political party, Retired General Azazi asked why “is it possible that somebody was thinking that only Mr. A could win, and that if he could not win, there would be problems in this society?”

“Let’s examine all these issues to see whether the level of violence in the North East just escalated because Boko Haram suddenly became better trained, better equipped and better funded, or something else was responsible.”

“It takes very long for somebody to be a sniper,” Mr. Azazi said.

He affirmed the level of sophistication of the group but also gave assurance that the government is aware of all their doings in a bid to addressing the issue. “I can assure you that Boko Haram can garner that level of sophistication over time, if it has not got it already. There are a lot we know that they are doing, and there are a lot that could be done to address the problem.”

“But, then I must also be quick to point out that today, even if all the leaders that we know in Boko Haram are arrested, I don’t think the problem would end, because there are tentacles. I don’t think that people would be satisfied, because the situations that created the problems are not just about the religion, poverty or the desire to rule Nigeria. I think it’s a combination of everything. Except you address all those things comprehensively, it would not work” he added.

On a final solution, the security adviser discourage just the use of force but called for a collective effort to address the economic problems of the north saying “it is not enough for us to have a problem in 2009 and you send soldiers to stop the situation, then tomorrow you drive everybody underground. You must look at what structures you need to put in place to address the problem holistically. There are economic problems in the North, which are not the exclusive prerogative of the Northerners. We must solve our problems as a country.”

He noted that the relationship between national security and development is inseparable, because “one cannot do without the other” the NSA said.

It is a great weapon to exposing dirty secrets affecting the community secretly and especially the down trodden in the society. I love all the constructive criticism raised especially to awaken our institutions which is suppose to be custodian of knowledge but are far lagging behind in almost all aspects: research, teaching technicalities, result releasing or even script releasing to mention a few. It is a great shame. Let's keep it up.....

When the other day Fayose was boasting and talking of this childish step many here on this kiddish platform were praising him only few matured ones warned that that step was wrong. Dear sycophant, it would have been better if you had kept quite rather than coming to this thread to be expressing these inhuman feelings.

Soldiers have lost their lives for this cause, many parents have died for this cause, over 20,000 people slaughtered or lost yet you are sent to add to Nigerian sorrow. Just one prayer for you, may God allow you to taste just a little of what just one of these went through shortly; you will not die but will learn to give love and praise at the smallest opportunity afterwards.

CultureSultan Declares With Clarity: Religions Abhor Killing by Kaykay(op): 9:10am On Oct 07, 2016
Religions abhor killing-Sultan

The Sultan of Sokoto and President General, Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, (NSCIA), Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, has said religions abhor killing.
Abubakar spoke when Innocent Idibia, a musician popularly called 2Face, paid him a courtesy call in Sokoto, recently. Abubakar added that Islam and Christianity preached peace and love among their faithful.

According to the Sultan, no human being can claim to love God without loving his neighbour. “Religion is a personal choice of an individual. Therefore, nobody can force any religion on anybody. Suicide bombers are going to hell.” The Sultan urged Idibia to continue to use his talent in promoting peace and peaceful coexistence amongst Nigerian youths. The monarch admonished youths never to allow selfish preachers and politicians to use them for their selfish reasons.

so bad that they celebrating a convicted criminal. But i am pretty sure they are far better than southwest. The difference between ibori and tinubu is while ibori has been jailed, the criminal tinubu continue to hold sway in his region. His people shield him and hail him jagagban. The southwest has the worst set of leadership in Nigeria. The simple fact that they collect far more allocation than the east and yet not able to pay salaries, while most states in the east do proves this. There are ten times more corrupt politicians in the west that there can ever be in any southern zone. So the issue of ibori has been condemned by Deltans. Why will sophisticated westerners get rid of tinubu?
I bet you are ready with your FACTS to nail Tinubu....... just list three(3) with genuineness.

PoliticsPilot Quizzed Over Fayose Loot by Kaykay(op): 4:56pm On Jul 18, 2016
PILOT QUIZZED BY EFCC OVER FAYOSE LOOT

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has quizzed Captain Ahmed Borodo, the pilot whose plane was allegedly chartered by a former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, to transport N1.219bn to Governor Ayodele Fayose.

The money was alleged to be part of the N4.7bn transferred from the account of the Office of the National Security Adviser to the bank account of Sylvan McNamara, a company allegedly owned by Obanikoro’s two sons- Babajide and Gbolahan.

Borodo, who was grilled last week, was quoted as telling detectives that he flew Obanikoro on June 17, 2014 from Lagos to Akure on an HS-125 aircraft.

Impeccable sources at the anti-graft agency told The PUNCH that the pilot admitted that about eight big green tarpaulin or military bags were loaded onto the plane by Obanikoro’s men.

He said at a point, he had to complain to the former minister that the aircraft was too small and thus could not carry too much weight.

An investigator said, “The pilot told us that on June 17, 2014, he was instructed by his company around 7am to prepare the aircraft for an 8.30am flight from Lagos to Akure. He was informed that the client was Obanikoro. He said he along with his colleagues including one Capt. Olubiyi Famuyiwa got on the plane.

“He said Obanikoro’s aides arrived at the tarmac with some bullion vans and started offloading the contents which were in big green tarpaulin bags. He informed them that the aircraft could only carry about eight or nine bags due to its small size.

“The pilot said at that point, Obanikoro intervened and began pleading with him to allow them load all the bags on the plane but he refused and then the minister, his ADC and a friend boarded the plane and the aircraft departed.”

Borodo was said to have flown the aircraft to Akure where a bullion van from Zenith Bank and some soldiers welcomed Obanikoro and received the money.

Further investigations revealed that Fayose’s friend, Abiodun Agbele, who is currently in the EFCC custody, was among those who received Obanikoro.

The detective added, “The pilot said on getting to the Akure airport, some soldiers received them and the bags were offloaded and put into a bullion van. He noted that the plane returned empty to Lagos.

“He said that the next day, he returned to Akure and then flew Obanikoro to Abuja with his Aide-de-Camp, Lt. Adewale.”

The commission also interrogated the General Manager of the airline, Mr. Jide West, who told the EFCC that Obanikoro paid $25,200 for both flights.
